One of the only issues I have with these amazing animations besides the reused sounds is how leisurely they look when you're pinned down by 2 bulldozers and the rest of your team is slamming their faces into a wall. Edit: after thinking it over and looking over tons of other games, these still might be my favorite reloads of all time for the most part.

What I love most about these animations is the conveyance of weight and inertia. Like, the slide of the pistols being released and slamming forward shows in the sudden jerking response of the hand. Granted I'm no weapons expert, but when I used a Glock irl, it looks and "feels" like what these animations show. Amazing attention to detail on those parts.

Some of the highest quality reload animations right here. Every gun seems to carry this weight to it, which I absolutely adore. It really bumps up the immersion of you can believe that the weapons you’re using actually have some kind of weight to them.
Hey, you forgot the VR reloads. Especially with the one that you do a sweet trick with your Vr controllers, throw it to your tv accidentally, break your tv, then pick up the mag then insert it into the gun.
They couldn't implement actual reloading in Payday VR (like most games ported to VR), it was just a button press. I was disappointed to find out first hand

The thing about payday 2 reloads is that they are quite smooth and very satisfying. There’s no jitter or fumbling or speed (unless you have speed mag), its just smooth reloads

more than 1000 hours and still can't get over it real og fans will remember when pd2 came out thous reloads where so weird but so satisfying. and I think I dont really remember but on some guns thay changed reload animations 2 times. uhhh... I love this game
the one thing I never truly pay that much attention to when I was playing the game itself was the fact that the pistol class of weapons has so much variety in the weight of their animations, like there are pistols that weigh nothing, the mini Glock and mini M1911 for example, and then you look at the animation for a gun like the deagle or 5-7, and it looks like it actually weighs more than the rest. A great deal of care went into these animations, and it's a shame that aside from this tiny niche, nobody seems to acknowledge that.

@Ich Heisse Hans every weapon with a vertical foregrip and mod options for the foregrip (e.g. Queen's Wrath and Uzi) will have vertical foregrips attached in every single possible combination. The Diesel engine does not allow for one weapon to have multiple different animation sets, according to the developers.

Some of the highest quality reload animations right here. Every gun seems to carry this weight to it, which I absolutely adore. It really bumps up the immersion of you can believe that the weapons you’re using actually have some kind of weight to them.

i play this game on xbox 360 but they stop updating it since 2014,sad
the one thing I never truly pay that much attention to when I was playing the game itself was the fact that the pistol class of weapons has so much variety in the weight of their animations, like there are pistols that weigh nothing, the mini Glock and mini M1911 for example, and then you look at the animation for a gun like the deagle or 5-7, and it looks like it actually weighs more than the rest. A great deal of care went into these animations, and it's a shame that aside from this tiny niche, nobody seems to acknowledge that.

I would like to point out that in Payday 2, the animations DO NOT ever change regardless of what weapon mods you use.

@Ich Heisse Hans every weapon with a vertical foregrip and mod options for the foregrip (e.g. Queen's Wrath and Uzi) will have vertical foregrips attached in every single possible combination. The Diesel engine does not allow for one weapon to have multiple different animation sets, according to the developers.
