Far Cry 2 Dosen't have an M133 the 2 shotguns in that game is the Mossberg 500 and Ithaca M37.

I like the detail in new dawn that it’s harder for your character to feed shells through because the guns older and more rusted
Yeah but if your weapon IS rusty, there wouldn't be as much of a problem reloading it than firing it, but it's great that they added this detail
In New dawn it's more of a weapon tier list, there's 4 in total. Grey weapon (tier 1) have slow reload animation and poor damage of course. When you get the blue weapon (tier 2) the reloads are a bit faster.
Also I like how Rook balances double barrels on their left arm and puts shells in with their right unlike everyone else
Actually in level elite guns is a bit more "crunchi" the reload of the weapons

The fact that the animations between FC5 and New Dawn are different, is just so fucking awesome.
New Dawn got shit on, but I bought it at launch and I really enjoyed it. Not perfect but it was a fun spinoff.
@@winlover37 i think the biggest issue was gameplay-changing microtransactions, and the fact it was sold as a "seperate game" when it could easily just be DLC for FC5
@@sillylilstella Fair points. Granted I usually groan when people point out that most games still let you earn items in-game, New Dawn's MTX were so pointless since you could grind everything insanely fast. Not only that, but for me it was actually fun grinding for supplies.
Totally understand the criticism against it though.
What’s so impressive about different reload animations in a different game?
@@sillylilstella it's good for me. I bought a PS4 back in late June, since the PS5 came out I thought better grab it before it phases out. I don't have internet, so I was thankful that I can still play games like Far Cry 5, Resident Evil Within 2, Resident Evil Village, etc. on the PS4. I'm fine with not caring about DLCs or extra stuff that really is pointless, like extra clothes.
Glad New Dawn is a standalone rather than a DLC, otherwise I'll never be able to play it due to no internet. Still need to get Far Cry 4 and Far Cry 3 as well, then hopefully 6 in the future.
To people who might say how I'm watching TH-cam it's simple, unlimited internet data on my phone lol.
They literally got better with each game, I really do miss far cry 2 weapon jamming it really brought a feel of anxiety in gunfights

I never understood what was the big deal with weapon jamming and malaria pills, you literally just need to get a new weapon from the infinite weapon store and do the priest's mission and you'll be just fine
Makarov reloading is still terribly incorrect in each game where it's available though
The blood dragon 1887 reload is the most creative reload in the franchise imo

I love how everyone else reloads the SPAS as fast as they can and Jason Brody's sitting there like: yea just hold on one moment
Same with Ajay, guy pretty much can quickly reload harpoon and normal shotgun but when reloading SPAS he has to take that sweet time.
I love how some of their guns, like the dragunov was being mirror since forever, that they don't even bother about it

The New Dawn SPAZ reload is something I’ve never seen before from a game and I love it
Oh, and its a really good weapon too, it absolutely shreds through high tier outposts
I had this cool idea for an FPS game with an upgrade system for weapons and stuff, and for one of the shotguns would have an upgrade where instead of loading one shell at a time, you would grab like 3 at a time and load them in quickly before grabbing a second handful.
12:52 the mgl released at 2008, but it has been forgotten in that moment.
But after 13 years later. The mgl was back in far cry 6 2021.
It doesn't existed in other far cry.
Side note: the "Double Barrel Shotgun" in the chapters that uses brass casings is actually an elephant rifle, chambered in 700 Nitro.

Gotta say, love how the setting alone works to tell every single one apart (I've only played FC3, Blood Dragon and FC2, yet still was able to say which one the other settings were by seeing only the boxart of every game back when they came out and the clips shown here)
Man you can see in new dawn, protagonist often struggle more in reloading, nice touch ubisoft 💯🔥

For those wondering why some far cry new dawn guns have fancy azz attachments, you cant craft the standalone version of some guns, like the spas12, you cant craft it alone it just comes with the attachments

I love the environments in the the Far Cry games, I honestly haven’t played any of them yet I know exactly which game each is from just from it.
Tropical island: 1 and 3 and 6
African desert: 2
Himalayas: 4
American farmland: 5
Far Cry 5's lowered crosshair makes the environments feel that much bigger
I really love the rusted aesthetic of the New Dawn weapons.
You should play it then, even if the story is..meh, the gameplay is ok. But i warn ya, it has a little change from Farcry5. Everything now is ranged by level or tier list. I won't spoil more but if ya wanna jump in, play with friend im sure it would be a lot of fun.

That isn't a double barrel shotgun, its a .700 NE which is a double barrel elephant rifle.
You can see in the reload it ejects gigantic rifle rounds, not shotgun shells
When you can tell which game is being shown but fan of the FC series no matter how bad it can be at times. This game still beats many others.

They reeeeaaally loved using the same sounds, especially for some of those Revolvers.
Definitely liked the Auto 9 pistol from Robocop, since it’s the perfect go to pistol for making the OCP villains running scared.
Why do we love seeing such things so much?
Here let me fill out the missing guns from the main series:

8. RPG-7 Classic FC5 (hidden gun)

Note: The AK and .44 magnum in Far cry 5 has different models and stats unlike the M37 and M60-V they're both just a reskin from the original guns. As for the hidden gun can be acquired through exploration of the map.

I just noticed that the far cry 5 M16 and AR-C reload animations are an homage to far cry 1's m16 reload animation
My favorites are the over the top Blood Dragon reloads
For the double barrel shotgun the .700 nitro is a rifle if i recall more specific a elephant rifle

My 2 best pistols i use alot in farcry is the po8 long barrel or the a99 smg
funny how only 5 and new dawn were the only ones with real weapons training but their all masters at it. that and game developers love the desert eagle

Blood Dragon has the best reloads in my opinion. they fall between the "overly cool" and classic reload style and I love it for that.

Not generally. And sounds are different.
The animation were probably recycled since the games both use the same engine and it’s probably easier and cost effective to slap on a new coat of paint and sound effects

If you start the game over too much if when you are part when blows up the bridge make sure the game crashes on that part because if does then press continue game then press yes whatever it saids then your out of the truck and your at the bridge to falls end and you have the deputy outfit on but you can't meet Dutch when it saids meet Dutch in his island because this has happened to me before
