@@jasont7814 yes sir! The one in my pic did not look like that the day I got it. I redid quite a bit. Mine came from Colorado Springs but like most, had strong foundations and runs good!
@@Jus10-born2Run They’re fun for sure. I’ll try to update my profile pic with mine. I like the desert tan color of yours. I went back and forth and ended up getting a camp one.
I am so grateful to always have her by my side no matter how many crazy things I drag her into! I am so grateful and wish to everyone to find their true love no matter how hard it might be sometimes. Never give up on love! Thank you so much buddy! (oh yes and I also love the Humvee too)
@@theinspiredjourney Thanks! No I kept the soft top. I converted it to a 4 man config. In the back end I shortened the troop seats and shortened the cover bows. I have it so a canvas tarp can extend off of the front bow. I plan to keep it basically stock. I live in the CA desert and it really allows me to venture way off the beaten path.
Awesome! I would love to see it! I think I will go with the 4 man - hard top config, looking for one.. We just moved out west and can't wait to start exploring :)
Great Video Man I know I am a little late to your posting but yeah I will do the same thing you just did soon good Vibes from San Francisco California 🤙
Awesome! Thank you! I can't wait :) The M1102 is on my list as well. We are going to upload a bunch of videos documenting the work and hoping to help others in their journey. Thank you for the support!
If you dont mind me asking how big of a trailer do i need? I have a pretty standard double axle trailer but dont know if i need to rent one out to pick it up. Also do i need the euc first in order to pick it up?
Hi, thank you for watching our video! The Humvee is wider than a regular vehicle so make sure you use a trailer that the Humvee can fit on. If I remember correctly, the Humvee is about 7.2 feet wide and about 6,000 lbs., so make sure the trailer can handle the size and weight - but don't count on my info, check on GovPlanet and it should show shipping info (dimensions, weight, etc.) to be sure :) Also, yes, you will absolutely need the euc. They won't let you pick up the vehicle without it. Go through the process and give GovPlanet support center a call if you need more information, they are very helpful!
Wish we could (easily) have the size trucks you guys have in the US here in Australia. We're so restricted here. Looks the goods do you guys have some type of roadmap over the next 6 or 12 month of where you expect to travel and visit around the US?
@nenadobradovic7046 that is for a completely rebuilt and repaired one. Not the POS you get from auction that needs all fluids changed, tires, top, doors and total restoration...etc.
Thanks for the videos, I’ve been watching for about 6 months. I just won a bid on GovPlanet for an M1123. I feel your excitement!!
Awesome!! So happy you enjoy the videos. A lot more videos are coming soon! I am sure you will love your new Humvee project! Keep us posted!
Awesome! Those 1123 are great. How is yours coming along?
@@Jus10-born2Run I was lucky, I got a good one from Yermo. New rims and tires made it drive so much smoother. Looks like you got a good one too.

I know right! I feel bad, love the big trucks.. No plan yet for a big trip, just off-roading locally :) and starting some work on our property!
0:41 *aluminum horse
LOL, definitely aluminum but "The Iron Horse" is our nickname for our Humvee! :-)
Hi, how much did your hmmwv cost?
About 11k without taxes and fees.
@@theinspiredjourney thx for the info, thought you have to pay at least 25 to 30k......

How long did your EUC take? Waiting on mine.
I would say about 3 months.
They told me it could be 3-6 months when I got mine, and it only took 5 weeks
Nice! You got lucky!
@@theinspiredjourney and I scored it for $5500 :)
Awesome!
💪🇺🇸 Marines one , mine is from California too
Awesome!
Congratulations, great video. The music is a little annoying though.
Thank you so much! Sorry about the music!
What did you pay, if I may ask?

@@theinspiredjourney I'm noticing prices have gone up a lot on today's auctions. Terrible trucks are going for over 10k
I know it's crazy!
Dam that was a long drive 🤣
Yes! Such a long drive. But it was worth it to see Yermo and pick up the Humvee :)
😀😀😀😀
Thank you!
