I faced a lot of hardships joining a fellowship in USA after coming from residency in a govt hospital in Delhi. But it got better. The benefit of doing recognized fellowship for preferably 1-2 years in USA/canada and then joining AEP is that you get ACGME or equivalent training which is a prerequisite for a lot of US state licenses even after you are board certified.
Really one of a kind video ! I would like to know how does one become board certified after getting a full state licensure in any state in the us post fellowships ?
I am not sure when Dr. Rajeev did his fellowship in Canada but today, getting a fellowship if not Canadian or US residency trained is not easy with the exception of some Middle East countries where the trainee is paid by their government and not by a Canadian hospital. Also, a trainee is required to go back home after completing the fellowship. The US is somewhat easier once you complete both step exams but again fellowships are reserved for mostly US trained doctors and to a lesser extend Canadians.
Occasionally, we encounter individuals who miss the bigger picture. Obtaining fellowships has never been easy, especially with the requirement to return to one's home country. This is why mentoring and guidance are crucial to ensure you receive the right support and direction www.IMGSecrets.com
Hi sir I medical graduate from kyrgystan doing my internship from india (home country) What is easiest path to practice in canada as doctor please tell Sir
Thanks so much. In order to get that pathway in USA.. you need a high score in the step 1 and 2? Or as the same as the residencies.. a person who fails the first attempts will find much teouble to match into a residency.. in this casa passing is the most important than the scores?
What pathway are you referring to? If alternate entry path, USMLE scores are not considered typically here as the candidates already have an outstanding CV www.IMGsecrets.com
Hi sir , I was having doubt that minimum how many days living in canada (doing observership or Internship) to eligibility for getting Canadian PR as an IMG?
Pediatric surgery is highly competitive. Without knowing your background, in general, whether you can get in would depend on many factors like your background, opportunities, etc. www.IMGSecrets.com

in fellowship training, do you pay the hospital to take you in?
There are various fellowships in Canada. When we guide we focus on those fellowships where the hospital pays salary

Either can be ok, it depends on how strong the candidate is

Dr. Rajeev, during the AEP, is one paid throughout as a fellow ? If we are doing Fellow/attending position are we paid as a Fellow or Attending ?
If the candidate is a fellow, they get paid as a fellow and if they are an attending then as an attending

If you meet eligibility like ecfmg, strong background you can explore fellowship

@@IMGSecrets what is ecfmg??
Anesthesia is not hard at all to get in India. It’s the least competitive.
its about what you want to do and want to invest your years in- during residency, and beyond.
