Very high quality video! You have a new subscriber. I think there is better setups but for the average person who just wants to take a family vacation once a year, this is perfect. Here is my setup: Catch-All: Capital One Venture X Food and Grocery: Amex Gold Luxury Travel: Amex Platinum With the venture x $300 annual credit and the 10,000 mile anniversary bonus it is a negative annual fee card (pays you just to have it) so even though it is it’s own luxury travel card, it has 2x back on everything with lots of over lapping transfer partners. When traveling it is also my hotel and rental car card and my home airport has a Cap1 lounge which is amazing ❤
Thanks for checking it out. I really tried to make it for (like you said) the average person. I really like your setup. Thinking about making a video with this, but I always seem to end up in airports with no VX lounge access but I would have been able to get in with the American Express Platinum...
Just subscribed!! I have over 20 cards (by accident) the first 10 (roughly) are the beginner cards, First Premier, Credit One, Continental Finance, Mission Lane. The other half is when I got serious. 4 Capital Ones. 3 Amex. 3 Wells Fargo. 1 BOA. 1 Discover. I hesitate to close the first ones because I don't want to hurt my length of credit.
If you're paying an annual fee to keep any of those beginner cards open it is probably worth it to close them. FICO score has to take a back seat when financial health is impacted and those accounts will continue to show up on your report for 10 years if they closed with no derogatory data
I already got the freedom unlimited and i get offers for the capital one Venture X an the platinum capital one along with Amex gold/silver card and hesitate to bite the bullet but I’ll just stick chase and get freedom flex for the chase trifecta
With the AmEx BCP, you just need to spend $32/week in groceries to pay for the AF. You need to spend $64/week in groceries to break even with the BCE card. If you spend more than $64/week in Groceries, you win. The streaming credits, which include in-app purchases on iOS and Android/Google, are gravy. And the 3% on Gas is also nice.

Haha 20!
That’s a crazy lineup but respect for managing it all

All catch all cards have foreign transaction fees i think
I know this is an older video, but the 3 catch all cards you recommended all have FTFs.
You described the Amex Gold before starting the 2nd list but didn’t put it on the list.😂
