Thanks for spending your time and money and sharing your findings with us, looks like you have got a good beam sorted. I have spent a ridiculous amount on torches, lenses, reflectors as quiet a few other people have trying to find a good mix of parts.
Are you good at juggling, its just when you had all three torches at the end you did quiet well, when Ive been messing with cameras and IR illuminators it gets frustrating trying to hold everything at times.

Can now confirm the T20 with the Yukon head gives the same performance as the T67 with both in 850nm IR But a lot lighter and more compact

I am building my own NV add on with the sure E700 camera, and wondered whats the best IR torch that
will be best for this.. what make is favorite ? i'll be shooting with my 22LR rimfire at no more than 150 yds

I'll do the 3x42 Yukon conversion to my t20 as I want a little more range from the t20, which currently shows foxes' bodies at 200. I'll hope to get +50y and looking at your beam comparisons I think that will be doable. Thanks for the info

HI Richard my comparison to the new T67 units is that this gives the same reduction in the focused beam but as im using the 940nm IR its max level is only nearly as bright as the T67 min level with a 850nm (the more common pill) so would expect a 850 in the Yukon to give as good as the T67 but much smaller and lighter which was showing good clear rabbits at 150m on x20 mag scope (close aitgun ranges its far to bright so needs to be min level and well defocused for under x 10 mag) so i would say foxs at 500 are a definite possibility or not far off will swap out the 940nm for a 850nm and do a comparison vid with my Custom T67. Thanks for your Vids looks like im going for Swift Nightingale mods and Meopta scopes now :D ATB

the price of the Yukon Lens, you'd be better of buying a Mini T67

+Spiritual Trigger Ii put this together a long time beforehand T67 was even thought of . We just had the T20 back then and this was the way to get better either the Doubler (T50 equive now) or the Sunranger. When the T67 came out (couple yeras later) it was only 2 battery I had one cut down to single battery for me just before they Released the single version ...that said I much prefer My T20 Sunranger its a lot smaller and lighter than the Mini T67 and you get far less Visible Red light signature at a smaller angle of sight .. I dont use the T67 on any of my rifles But have got it fitted to a GEN1 Sight I use as a spotter Combo ATB Duncan

I've the t20, t50 and the t67 and to be honest, I'd sell the t67 in the morning for another t50 even tho. the t67 is much tighter for greater distance I'd go for the t50 for the balance that it's got over the t67. Tho. I was merely allowing people to know that (if it is their first purchase) not to buy the t20 and the lens to double up. Cheers for your swift reply. Jon.
