  • I run all my South African Railways Trains in my collection, starting with a few doubleheader steam locomotive combinations. I hope the video is acceptably in focus, as I am the blind guy from George with the layout I built in my single garage. The sound in all the locomotives except for one I have custom edited myself, using lock sound decoders and audio editing software. Steam locomotives include 15CA, 15F, 16E, 19D, and 25NC. Diesel locomotives include GE 35, 34, And GM EMD 35 class, and electric units include 6E1, 7E, 14E, and 15E, and German ICE 2.👍🏼☺ ️🚂🚂👨🏼‍🦯 I was encouraged to do the doubleheader steam locomotive And Train videos by a young train enthusiast who came across my youtube channel🙏🏼'Dankie Adriaan'👍🏼o Up datedd And

    Neat how the steam engine crews can be heard speaking Afrikaans! And I love those whistles!

      Thanks very much, I appreciate your comment, yes, I tried to collect as many locomotives over the years possible, obviously limited by budget.

    Interestingly, that "Neelsie" recording is of a driver in a 6E1 and also recorded by a blind gentleman, named Quintin Pendle

    At the end of the video, I recognized the railway station of Lerino, in Italy made by Lima in the seventies (I have it as well) it blends well with the scenery! A fun layout 👍👌

    Hi Carl, a wonderful collection of SAR locomotives and rolling stock. Can O ask how you managed to get the 6E1 blower sound and horn on to the decoder? Thanks.

    Hi there I'm Anton how do you make to make the sound like real steam train

    • @carldecamposblind524
      @carldecamposblind524  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, i use is Soo locks sound decoders, and I upload a sound project that sounds the closest to that locomotive type, and then I replace the US or European whistle with the South African whistle and a few other things to sound more South African
