I think Waski Squirrel will like this:-) The pen looks brand new to me. I like chunky pens like this. Senator pens are well respected and sought after. You made a good choice.

I guess he will! I got it because I spot it at a very good price in a corner of the store. And to be honest I only found it because I had the his video still in my head. There are two differences between our pens, though: mine has a steel nib (his pen has gold nib) and the clip design is different. I really need to learn more about this but there is not much information available online about Senator pens.

Thanks for the review. On my President, I can slide the clip around on its ring so that it faces in any direction you like. I have it lined up to the space between the two words "Senator" and "President." I have a Broad nib, and I'm thinking of having it ground into something a little more interesting to write with.

Glad you liked it. I find the nib on your pen to be much more beautiful than mine (not that I am giving too much value to it being made of gold but because of design) however it would be hard for me to write with a B nib. I think this pen is really well made. The only aspect that I prefer on the Montblanc 149 is the nib size. I like big nibs. But this is a very classy and good looking pen.

Thank you Paulo . I also like largish pens and this one is a beautiful example from this manufacturer & much like Waski's in very good condition.
Can i ask how much you paid ? dont answer if you don't want to i will not be offended. :-)

I think this is a good example. But Waski's has the beautiful gold nib... I paid around 40€. A little dirty, with ink inside and no box or papers.

That is a hard question to answer. I'm not sure. It is the same size, aproximatly. But I am not 100% sure. I never tried doing that.

Hi! Nice find. It depends on the nib being steel or gold and the overall condition of the pen. I would suggest to check sold items at eBay to have a better idea of the price. I would say that pen, with steel nib, and good condition can go for around 150 €.

If it is gold it may be worth more. Check the nib. If it is gold it must say there

@@freddi7372 Maybe. It all depends on the buyer and on how many of those are currently being sold in the particular moment.
If the nib is like mine it means it is a steel nib,

I don't really know. I bought it like this, with ink inside. I will finish this (whatever it is) and then fill it with something nicer like a turquoise or a brown.
