- Senator is a German pen brand. The Regent model was manufactured from the 1930s through the 1960s or so. This excellent writing specimen has become a fast favorite of mine.

Looks like a great pen! Hadn't heard of Senator Pens. Good review!
Looks awesome Troy.
I have to get one for my collection.
This one is an absolute pleasure to use. It is super smooth and writes fantastically well.
After seeing your great review, I thought I would try to learn more about Senator Pens. All I could find was that it was supposedly once known as MERTZ & KRELL Pens.
Thanks for a wonderful video. I have three of these great pens, and they are fantastic writers. Superb piston fillers. Same repair principles as Pelikan.
Hello! Please tell me, is this Senator Regent legible? Is the refueling system disassembled and how is the writing unit installed - on friction or unscrewed?
