Sorry, I have not sat down and done the dimensions. I am still thinking of rotating the whole unit 90 degrees, and adding a hopper, so you can just shake it and the bullets will self align, less work to load magazines.
Sorry, I did not base the loader on good dimensions. It was a model based on the PMAG and a 5.56 bullet. I am still modifying it to be even easier to use and make. I was trying to lay it out where just a table saw would cut all the dimensions. The bullet rails and magazine holder were done on a mill..
DIY is great, but i have chosen Podavach magloader for those needs. It can load AK47, AK74 and AR15 at one device. They have patent pending channel, that makes it multi-caliber. Works like a charm.

Nice Straight design probably one of the slimmer designs I've seen so far. I may mimic the shape here in my own style.
Cool build time saving at its finest , only thing i would add is a string to the pin .
Instead of the stop pin make a block that line up to the baseplate of the mag. Nice design
