I put a little fluid film behind that piece that was sticking and worked it back and forth with my hand til it kinda seated itself in and now with the weight of the ammo over it when the hopper is full it doesn’t have anymore sticking problems. Your way is also fine but one thing I want to point out is mag pump has a no bs warranty. Any issues you can get ahold of them and they are on it. Seems to be a good company.
