In this video we go over my update of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 PLUS after using it for well over 6 months. As many of you know, this tablet, along with the others from the same series have recently received a significant update. This was particularly major because it gave access to features previously available on the 2024 galaxy devices, specifically Galaxy AI, with the collaboration with Google; the AI features are now HERE! I will share what my experience has been like using this tablet and we will talk about whether the Galaxy Tab S9 PLUS is the beast that many make out to be.

I have the S9 Plus. I am not a "power user" and I am still learning how to use it effectively. I am very pleased with it and can anticipate having it for a long time and getting more familiar with how to use it. Struggling a bit with using the stylus with different apps, but that is a "stupid user" issue! This tablet has no deficiencies that I can find!

I have had a Tab S9 plus since it first came out and I find it fantastic. I am 72 and if I am not careful I can spend all day on it. It does all I want and so much more that I still have to discover. It also has such a really solid, well-made, expensive feel about it. If anyone is in doubt out there, just do as the man says and buy it 😅

With one UI 6.1 I've been using the AI feature in the voice recorder to record my lectures and get summaries with bullet points. Game changer for note taking
What app do you use to note take? Are you in university? Any tips on how to take notes and on which app?
@@leonardduport9122 I use the samsung notes app which comes pre installed into the tablet. I hand write and type my notes and use the ai feature to format them. For note taking, you can just rely on the voice recorder app for the details but of course main points i do note down. You wanna make sure theres not too much ambient noise other than the speaker to make the recording as clear as possible for the transcription to be accurate.

Your vids partially made me upgrade from s9fe to s9 plus. Wanted the bigger screen and processor for games. Ended up giving the s9 fe to my mom

I like the tablet because it has 2 rear cameras also it's waterproof and dust proof . I been interested in getting me tablet for personal reasons like writing documents, a computer or laptop is okay but costly for accessories. You can take pictures like a phone do lots of things. I had a Sony Xperia 10 plus and was wondering when Sony Xperia was ever going to come out with a tablet? I'm ready to go out and purchase me a Samsung Galaxy S24+ and the S9+

Resently bought the s9 fe plus great tablet for the money next year i would probably upgrade for the new galaxy tab .
Here's my biggest dilemma. I'm a photographer I want to go straight tablet for photo editing. So it's either 12.9 ipad pro or the s9 ultra. Apple has the P3 gamut display samsung the dynamic oled. Is the color accuracy the same?

I was thinking of S9 as i think 12.4 inch is a larger than reqyured screen size. Additionally, with S9 getting Amoled, i am.not loosing on screen quality

I purchased the Doqo Maglev Keyboard For Samsung Galaxy Tab 12.4 back in November 2023. It's a nice keyboard. I don't mind the weight, but the keys are a little too spaced out for me. And I wish the BT connection would start-up faster to make it more seemless.
This gentleman has the hand size that makes holding the tablet look simple.... If you don't have strangler sized hands then move down a size...
I got the Tab S9+ 5G ... wanted to see if I could replace the iPad Pro 11 I have. Love the tablet ... only problem is the updates. I still do not have the One UI 6.0 update ... forget about the 6.1 update. So I am rock on One UI 5.1.1. Was told by Samsung that the One UI 6.0 release for the S9+ 5G was pulled due to issues. Anyone else in the US with the S9+ 5G also stuck on One UI 5.1.1?
That's interesting; I haven't heard about that particular issue, but hopefully it gets resolved soon and you get the newest updates

Depends on what you'll be using it for. If you're going to use it for things editing, or other media purposes, go for the ipad m1, otherwise go for the Tab

I bought the Galaxy Tab S8 despite the fact that it won't have long upgrades compared to the S9 🤷♂️ Because I got it new at a good price.
I just ordered the tab s9+ 5G model because i got a good deal on it from Verizon
Sadly i could not use the s9 series because of the flickering pwm samsung still uses to adjust brightness on oled screens…
tries s8 same issue headaches within 5 minutes of use. Ended up with ipad 10th with simple tft screen but no pwm etc….
i like samsung but their cheap pwm solution just gives me headaches….It is a know issue like all their oled screens on smartphones, even apple iphones

galaxy tab s1 10,5 LTE , now im using galaxy tab s9 ultra, i think for me its reasonable to upgrade to largest tab in 2024 which is s9 ultra since tab s1 10,5 inch is the largest tab in its time😂

I do as well, but it's been itching to upgrade for a while now. I'm hesitating to get the S9+ or waiting for the S10+. Decision decision 🤔 the longer I wait the less I will get for the S7+. Also, it will not get any upgrades anymore.

I upgraded from the Tab S7+ to the Tab S9+. It's the same, but now I can enable high refresh rates without worrying about the battery.
I mostly use it for reading. The 12.4 inch size is perfect for dealing with small text in PDFs or e-textbooks without pinching or zooming. Also, I can read digital comic books without pinching or zooming.
Aside from that, I just watch TH-cam videos, light social media stuff, light productivity work, and the occasional digital book.
I do not game, I do not do art on this, nor do I take notes with this, nor do I watch TV shows or movies, so I'm not doing the same sorts of things other people do.
Mostly, this form factor is nice because I can read small text without pinching and zooming, but anything bigger (e.g. the Ultra) would simply be too heavy for long reading sessions on the couch.

Should we use a 45 w or 65 w Samsung charger???
The device supports charging up to 45 watts, but if the device is charged with a power of 65 watts or more, there is no harm to the device.

45w is the max, but chargers are smart enough to max out at 45w so either is fine

I have the Galaxy tab S9+. And I absolutely love it. I haven't had a tablet of any kind in about 6 years. Kind of gave up on them. When I saw the tapas 7 line come out I really thought about it. And then I kind of forgot and then I started doing photography and I wanted something that I could use with my computer for photo editing in Lightroom And photoshop. And especially with the s pen and being able to select precise areas of a photo with pen is amazing. Not to mention I use it More than my phone or my computer when I'm at home. It's been a long time since I've used a tablet as much as this. Nice big screen but not having to drag around a whole laptop is so nice. And I actually use it a lot as a second monitor for my laptop when I go anywhere or even when I'm just chilling with my bedside table. It's really cool. And especially very Early versions of DeX were finicky to say the least. But when I got the Galaxy S10+ while back I started using Dex off and on. The tab S9+ with the keyboard smart cover case with a mouse is amazing as a laptop substitute for light tasks. Or even just using things like Lightroom mobile. It's still great. I'll be using it basically until it's on its last leg. By that time, I'll be happy to see what things have changed in the next 4 or 5 years when I upgrade again. One thing I will say though is that I am absolutely amazed by the s pen. I missed having it when I switched. From the Galaxy Note 9 to the S10+ And I'm so happy to have it back. And better than ever. And I was shocked by how thin it is.

Artist avoid the everything tab with +, go for the S or the ultra, the s+ is just the stretch version of the S, for normal costumes it doesn't matter but for drawing artists don't do that, ultra or regular s
Maybe i dont use it enough, but i find the s9 plus underwhelming. I prefer overall experience on my S8 Ultra
Just got this a week ago. Fingerprint scanner doesn't work at all. I've deleted and reinstalled, even with the same fingerprint, still doesn't work. Very disappointing after trading in my Tab S7 Plus .... not the best tablet, iPad is still better.
That's the first time I've heard of that problem. It depends which is better. I have an iPad Air 5 too but I far prefer my tab s9.

You Should Investigate what the HELL is going on with the WIFI on the SAMSUNG S9 TABLETS (not sure what is going on with the new Samsung phones in this regard). is horrible! WORST WIFI CONNECTION EVER! Just google it many people are having a very bad experience with it and Samsung does not care at all :( Mi Galaxy tablet from 2014 Has way better connection than my S9 Ultra. Ultra wifi connection is Horrendous. My Huawai 5 years old phone has fantastic wifi connection in the same spot Ultra just say connected with out internet and keeps disconnecting. And my 2014 samsung tablet although is not that good as the Huawai phone is million years a head of the S9 Ultra. Many people are reporting this and Samsung just don't care at all. _ :( - :( -
