I tried to put as many accessories in this video as I could. So it was a long one. Show it some love and share the video or check the links in the description. Thanks everyone
Touching on something you mentioned in a previous review about getting multiple videos out of fewer devices, I would recommend breaking up accessory reviews like this by type of accessory, ie one video for keyboards, another for cases, etc. Flossy Carter has perfected this.
recently i bought The rotate case For my s9, so you can use your tab in potrait & lanscape mode with it, also i use the logitech k380 keyboard they're work so great. Thanks for the video
So I just got my S9 FE+ this Saturday. I'm getting the slim keyboard cover with it, it was a promotional addon "for free". Hyped about that. But I'm a note-taker with the s-pen at heart. So the slim version gets in the way. Which means I've been on the lookout for another case for taking notes, and I can swap it out. I have been debating between a good Dutch brand for about 25 bucks that has the tripod folding flap like you see on many older iPads, and the official Samsung origami ish bookcover you showed here. The thing is. I have just got the Samsung NotePaper screen so that it feels more like actual paper without having to glue a matte screenprotector on. Which is magnitized not unlike the normal keyboard bit of the s9case. So when you showed that with the origami bookcover you can remove the front, I was sold. It's gonna be the official Samsung one. Thank you so much my guy!
If you are talking about mouse the animal, mice is the correct plural. If you are talking about mouse the computer interface device, both mice and mouses are correct plurals. Because English is weird. The main disadvantage of most of those official Samsung covers is that they provide zero drop protection. Samsung's outdoor case is very sturdy. The main downside is that the lip pulls away from the edge, which is unforgivable for a case in this price category. The big upside is that you can use that kickstand in either portrait or landscape orientation, which far too few cases accommodate. The Logitech K380 is far and away my favorite mobile Bluetooth keyboard.
I hate that outdoor cover on my s9 lmao. Ive tried like 3 different brands of tempered glass and that case lifts the corners on all of them. Looks great though.
I have one for my Tab S9+ and love it-but will soon be selling my tab and getting the S9 Ultra, and wish they made one for the Ultra model as well. With that being said, Lenovo makes one for their 14+ inch tablet, so it's possible. Maybe if enough of us suggest/request it, they'll consider it...
Here's my favorite tempered glass : amzn.to/3BMBxcU Here's my favorite anti reflective protector. From Samsung directly. You may want to buy multiple and return the ones that don't work. Watch instructions online carefully. It's more expensive and only comes with 1 but cuts down on reflections. It's not tempered glass. But it helps amzn.to/3XUj7yp
Technically yes it does fit. Just barely. But it does. I personally recommend getting the S9+ version though. You have to remember that they have a fingerprint sensor in the power button so they will open up the power bottom on the fe model.
It can charge up to 45w. To get the most speed, to have it charge the fastest, get a charging base that is 45w at least. But you can charge it with 65w ,100w, and it only charges at a MAXIMUM 45w speed. But it may do less depending on where it's at in the charge cycle. You can use a 25w charger or below but it may take longer to charge. Best results come from Samsung directly, but 3rd party companies like Anker work well. As long as it's not a crap gas station brand or random company you can't trust, you should be fine to use pretty much any charger safely. Hopefully this helps
Love the video, I have a question about the ugreen usb hub for samungs9fe+ does it support a wired connection of keyboard and mouse or is it just for flash drives?
It's a good question. I don't have the fe right now to test but I'd guess yes. If a flash drive works so should a USB mouse and keyboard. BUT it feels like overkill. Bluetooth is very responsive now and doesn't feel laggy. It's a better bet in my opinion
I'm not sure what you mean, personally, I love the Dexnor cover. The Trackpad/touchpad isn't amazing, but you can turn it off and use a Bluetooth mouse if you want. Even if you aren't using it for crazy productivity, what I like about it is the angle, it lifts up the tablet so instead of looking down all the time, you have a more ergonomic angle for typing, or for watching stuff. Even if you just sit it on your lap, it just means you won't have to look down, again, just better for your posture, so I love it even for casual use. You don't even have to turn on the keyboard, you could just use it to sit it on a counter or on your lap, either way I really enjoy it personally. One of my favorite keyboard cases, in fact it is my favorite. Just because the travel is great on the keys, it has backlighting, and the bigger thing is the angle for every day use, that makes watching things better for my neck ( I have back/neck issues)
I have a tab S9 plus, new, and bought the hub mentioned in the video. I want to transfer photos from an SD card to the tablet. However it doesnt seem to be recognizing it. I have tried inserting the card then plugging into the tab and inserting the hub then the sd card. Any suggestions as to what Im doing wrong? Thank you for your videos! They are always informative and helpful!
There could be a lot of things going on. Very hard for me to say to be honest. I know you'd have to go to the my files app. Often the sd card may be listed as a uab drive. A little odd if you aren't seeing it though. On a side note these tabs do have a micro sd card slot so if it's micro you could always just insert into the tablet. sorry if I'm not super helpful here. Maybe contact anker at their website. They may be helpful
I was wondering what do you use for a battery pack charger? (if you do use one) and do you use some sort of device that provides wifi signal for when your in an area that has no or little connection?
As far as wifi, at home I just try to have a wifi system with more than one point, so I don't have bad signal. If you are referring to boosting cell signal, I don't have anything for that. I typically just try to find a trusted brand, like Anker, when I'm buying a battery bank.

Honestly I haven't been using the Samsung book cover over the last year BECAUSE I don't think it is my best option. The Logitech Bluetooth Keyboards - MX Keys Mini is not compatiable with the Galaxy S9 FE, I cannot download/install the sw, called Logitech support and they said that they only support their external devices with certain apple products. Also what kind of extra battery charger should I buy? That would be good as a spare charger if I don't have a plug handy (which is getting more rare to happen I know but it's always better safe then sorry).
That's just not true. The Logitech MX keys is a Bluetooth keyboard that will install with anything that has Bluetooth. You just have to put the keyboard in pairing mode by holding the correct button, then go to the Bluetooth settings and find it. When you find it, it will ask you typically to type in a number and press the enter button to pair it. It should work and has worked for me no problem. Samsung support is completely worthless and they wouldn't know much of anything. These are just foreigners working in a call center overseas going over a script. They aren't going to know about a Logitech keyboard. But it should definitely work as long as you are using Bluetooth and not trying to physically connect it
@@AndroidDigest I had no problems pairing it, I just couldn't install the software on it to make any setup configuration, that's when Samsung said they don't support it after I called. I had been thinking of just having the blaclight come at night to perserve battery like you had mentioned in your video. Lol had no idea they were so bad but I've never had to call them before, I'm more familiar with computers then tablets. This is my first one.
I prefer the Samsung Outdoor Cover personally. I love how it still has a bumper all around the screen, so it's going to be protective, but it has that kickstand too. Works great with the tempered glass. I'm a big fan personally. But everyone has their own opinions obviously
@@AndroidDigest Thanks first time owning a tablet and trying to find the right case for it, both sides, for it to be protected. Have only ever used Otterbox with my cell phones which has been great. Also trying to put together the accessories and such too. Did you ever look into bags to carry all of the stuff for a tablet plus the device? I'm assuming they are simular to laptap bags but I don't even own one of those so it's all new to me. Also a case to protect a seperate keyboard? I took a few days to decide if I wanted it attached to the tablet or not but there are times I'm planning on using it like a reading book for manga so having to deal with keyboard would be a bit if a pain for holding so I figured seperate would be good instead. Unless there is one where you can do both that detaches?
What do you think of the Saharacase keyboard for Samsung tablet? lol for to attach to A9+ Samsung. Is it better than the Amazon brands keyboards? Thank you
So it may use those magnets simply to attach, but the keyboard should still be a Bluetooth keyboard. It looks like a decent option, an expensive one, but a decent option, looks less cheap to me. I see so many $30 to $50 cheap keyboards on Amazon, add in the case cost and you know the keyboard is a $10 to $20 keyboard. The Sahara one does look a little nicer, haven't tested it yet though.
@@AndroidDigest Hi received the SaharaCase keyboard. Impressed so far with it. A lot more heavy duty case and better keyboard than the Amazon infiland. The infiland would glitch on my Samsung A9 screen with the keyboard connected. The Sahara more smooth and better response with h track pad. On TH-cam SaharaCase for Samsung A9+ can get a code for 20% off. Maybe you should review it. Would be interesting to see what you think. 1st day, was a good impression.
Honestly, any charger will work. Your best bet will be a 45w samsung charger though. howl.link/c4dmxcik4yg0i It's 45w, that's the charging speed, sometimes samsung will optimize their devices to charge a little bit better, but any 45w charger should do. I do try to trust reputable brands, that I know, like anker, or I use my laptop charger if I have a usb-c charger for my laptop, etc. But yeah, I'd recommend the Samsung one, or Anker is a cheaper alternative howl.link/q18qn3zexcqn7
I have the out door cover and for some reason in less than a week the stand won't close all the way. I don't know if I got a bad one or are you experiencing the same?
I would say yes and no. I've had multiple outdoor covers. The kickstand would be just a little bit loose off the body of the device. So it wouldn't go 1,000% flat unless you said it down on top of the kickstand. That seemed pretty normal to me. I didn't find that was a big issue personally. But if yours is really bad, you could always try to warranty it out by chatting with Samsung. Another option, that has a slight amount of risk, is to order one from Amazon and just return the one with the kickstand the way it is. If you take off the identifying labels, it's sort of like a different way to do a warranty swap. Not a lot of risk, but I don't normally like to recommend it necessarily since it's not the normal way to go about things. But it does loosen a little bit off the body of the case but it still works great for me it was still fairly reliable
I have an S9 ultra. I gitva bluetooth keyboard with a tablet stand & wireless mouse. The keyboard does not stay installed. O have to reinstall it every time i use it. No.idea why
That's very very strange. I've never had those issues at all. It could be a weird software glitch, and maybe a factory reset would fix it, obviously you would have to reinstall everything or reinstall from a backup. It could be an issue with the Bluetooth device itself. But that's definitely not normal. Normally you should just have to turn it off and on and it should reconnect
They definitely should be. Normally spens work on any galaxy tab. I can't guarantee that. But I know I'm using a tab S7 s pen on my Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra right now.
I think honestly the Xiaomi is a little bit faster and has some perks, but I do think the Samsung is better overall. It's got better software support, which is a really big deal, it is water resistant, it's a little slower, but will have similar screen quality, just a slightly lower refresh rate. I think the lower refresh rate and being a little slower is worth having Samsung DeX, which is great for productive work, having an s-pen, and better software support.
I'm assuming you're talking about the iPad Air. Remember, these are two different devices. That's 10.9 inches vs 12.4" on the FE Plus. A better comparison is the S9 FE which often goes on sale for $350. So keep in mind, the FE Plus you pay just for screen size. With that being said, the biggest thing you need to look at is what operating system you prefer? What do you use for your phones? That's critical, a big deal for people who want that good experience across all devices. Secondly, yes, you will get better hardware on the iPad, no doubt. But the Samsung comes with an s-pen, the Samsung comes with more storage, the Samsung comes with an sd card slot for expanded storage. Samsung has water resistance, and again, a stylus in the box is a big deal since it costs extra on an iPad. With Apple, you will get more power. You will get slightly better app optimization. And a few, not many, but a few pro apps. That extra power, or maybe the apple ecosystem, it's enough to pull some in. But compare this with the FE, and you will pay most likely hundreds more, or at least a hundred more, you will not get a pen, which will cost more on apple, and you will get less storage. So Samsung is a better value, it's better for android ecosystem people, and yeah, it's similar in price if you buy the FE Plus, but again, you're buying the screen size at that point. The iPad is for those in the Apple ecosystem that want more raw power If you do buy EITHER ONE, you can use my link to go to best buy, or amazon, or whatever, and if you buy from my link, even if you have to search from it, I'll get some affiliate credit. Hopefully this helps you though!
Yes and no. Keyboard case from Samsung fits both. But the regular S9 Plus is thinner. So SOME cases don't fit. Also remember that the S9+ is thinner. And the fe plus has a fingerprint sensor in the power button. So some cases like magnetic ones fit both. But keep in mind the s9+ cases may not have fingerprint sensor holes or they MAY not fit depending on the case. But yeah, the keyboards will work
Yeah. I'm literally about to drop a Tab S9 Ultra updated review in a week or so. And Dexnor did send the keyboard over for a sponsorship. It's basically the Samsung keyboard, better in some ways, smaller keys though and an iffy trackpad, but way better bang for the buck, especially if you use a touchpad. But I agree with you, I do wish they had the magic keyboard for it. Maybe the tablet was just a little too heavy for it and too big.
I had tried this Dexnor keyboard. Even with adjusting the mouse trackpade settings, the mouse performance was quite bad. Maybe it was a faulty unit, but it was just not a great experience.
I do agree with you. I don't think the trackpad is all that good. But for everything else it provides, it feels like one of the kind case. All you have to do is turn off the touchpad, you have a huge roomy area for your palms. And you could just add a Bluetooth mouse or use the touch screen. I get a touchpad might be important to some people, but I also have big issues with the touchpad on the official Samsung keyboard. It was always jumping up and down whenever I was scrolling and stuff like that. The point is, I haven't found a good keyboard with a good touchpad, but because of the elevated typing angle and simply elevating it whenever I'm using it around the house, it's just so much better for my neck, so it's one of my preferred keyboards. Even if the trackpad performance doesn't seem to be great to me
Definitely not. I would not recommend. It's strong but you can't just throw a case on it too. It will stay firm on it. And when closed it's very protected anyway. But yeah would not recommend. Didn't try but I just know. That's just too much
@AndroidDigest Thanks for the insight. I was thinking of getting those magnetic adhesive playe amd sticking it on the corner of a case. I really need my bumper protected. HAHA

So what do you think is better the Samsung Outdoor Cover or Otterbox for S9 FE?
@@AndroidDigest
Hi received the SaharaCase keyboard.
Does the s9 fe work well with Microsoft office applications
No, its an android tab. what do you think
Can I and if yes, how use my samsung tablet s9 fe plus as a secondary screen for my laptop?
Yes you can. In the windows store there is a secondary screen app from Samsung, you can install it.
Can you please let me know which charger should be used for samsung galaxy s9+ tablet.
Can i get link 🔗
Honestly, any charger will work. Your best bet will be a 45w samsung charger though. howl.link/c4dmxcik4yg0i
It's 45w, that's the charging speed, sometimes samsung will optimize their devices to charge a little bit better, but any 45w charger should do.
@@AndroidDigest it disconnects when the tablet just goes to sleep. It's a logitech MX keys S board.. not an off brand at all
Will the S Pen for Tab S9 be compatible with the Tab S8?
They definitely should be. Normally spens work on any galaxy tab. I can't guarantee that. But I know I'm using a tab S7 s pen on my Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra right now.
I`m looking for accessories for the A9+ tablet, and a keyboard case cover. Most accessories are for the S9 and FE tablets
That's very true. Just haven't got around to making anything like that. But maybe one day
Xiaomi pad 6 (26k) vs Samsung S9 FE Plus (30k)
Which to buy?
I think honestly the Xiaomi is a little bit faster and has some perks, but I do think the Samsung is better overall. It's got better software support, which is a really big deal, it is water resistant, it's a little slower, but will have similar screen quality, just a slightly lower refresh rate. I think the lower refresh rate and being a little slower is worth having Samsung DeX, which is great for productive work, having an s-pen, and better software support.
S9 fe plus or ipad 5th gen please compare 😢
The iPad is for those in the Apple ecosystem that want more raw power
If you do buy EITHER ONE, you can use my link to go to best buy, or amazon, or whatever, and if you buy from my link, even if you have to search from it, I'll get some affiliate credit. Hopefully this helps you though!
I need galaxy a55 review ❤
A35 review is coming next
Does s9+ and s9 fe+ have the sames cases ???
I have s9+ and i only found s9 fe+ case and keyboard
Are they the same ????
But yeah, the keyboards will work
Shame dexnor don't have a magic keyboard version for the s9 ultras
Even if the trackpad performance doesn't seem to be great to me
For the Dexnor case, do you have any idea if the magnetic is still strong enough to hold the tablet if I slap on a thin clear tpu case
HAHA
How do u connect your samsung tablet s9 fe+ to a monitor?😢
You can't unfortunately unless you do it wirelessly. Through casting of some kind. And if you do it's going to be slow since it's wireless
@@AndroidDigest so I will need a samsung monitor right ? Any model in particular? Tks for your kind response
@@laura.figlez USB-C to a monitor that takes USB-C display input. Or wirelessly with a monitor that supports Miracast Screen mirroring
