Thanks for sharing! I've watched many DIY driving sim rigs in preparation for building my own soon. This one is by far the best I've seen. 100% will be stealing this as inspiration to building mine. There were many features that sold me on your design, but the telescoping steering wheel was the clincher for me.
Excellent Job!!! And looks like you had fun doin it the only thing missing is the kitchen sink lol no I’d say you pretty much covered it all👍 Rock On🔥✌️
some people might not know that you don't need 10k worth of tools to build one. I built one myself using only skill saw Square Impact Sander I was stuck on how to mount the shifter and your video just gave the answer, thank you.
Really awesome! Definitely a must for that inner racer in all of us. I think I would just add speakers if I were to make one... you know to bust my eardrums lol. And of course that beautiful beige car at 12:08 is a Porsche
Moin, you made a fine RIG there I'm more of a hobby at ACC at the Series X and just looked at what material had accumulated over the years. I built my RIG completely out of wood and this is what it looks like now. It only has to be filled and then painted black with orange accents. However, it has become quite massive (1.72 mx 1.20 m). I built in the Gamechair as only I am allowed to sit in it. So he didn't have to go on any rails. Unfortunately, the options on the XBox are very limited. I took the 3 vibrators + control from an old massage mat, screwed 2 of them into the seat and the third to the pedals. Connected via the subwoofer of the Gamechair. Not as optimal as on a PC, but the result is astonishingly good. Engine vibrations, curbs or gear changes are simulated well. I can proudly say that I have made something fantastic for me out of "junk in the basement". Except for a few corners, I had everything lying around. I think it's great when someone thinks about it and builds something for themselves. Anyone can buy ... 😄 Definitely a nice video of you with a great result. Here is a very short video of my RIG in its current state. th-cam.com/video/BuATCe7t4Xs/w-d-xo.html
Could you make another video just like this one but add plans so we can build one ourselves. Cause I have all the tools and would really like to use this cockpit to drive my wheel on!!
such a wonderful cockpit - and logitek instead of the steering wheel. Even an inexpensive T300 will give you 20 times more pleasure. And the handbrake is missing.
Hogdude1234 I know unfortunately I made the same for a friend so I don’t even have it but I’m thinking I should just make another one and make plans for it
Hi, I have just watched your video and was wondering if you could share the measurements you used to build your simulator cause it looks blood sick! Also, I have been looking to get into Sim Racing by creating my own. Furthermore, I have watched all different videos on TH-cam that would tick the boxes as to what I want, and once I stumbled upon your "Epic" video, I knew right there and then that I wanted to build my own Sim rig just like yours. Anyways, hope to hear back from you soon and what else you have in store for future Sim builds.
I used an entry-level LG 50" from Costco. Cost about $250 which was a super good deal in my opinion! 4K and looks great!

@@WoodnessGoodness Interesting. I tried my 37" LED TV for gaming recently and it was bloody awful. I've got so used to my 100hz/1ms monitor but it's only 27". That kind of spec gets expensive when you increase the size 🙄
All that effort but the wheel sucks .. watch your cross cutting technique, living on the kick back edge. Otherwise thanks for sharing, good to see some serious wheel stand woodworking on YT

Nice project, and really cool video👌 like the smooth shots!!
The workmanship is excellent.
The first time I did some drifting and smacked a hand off the top above the wheel, I'd be cussing you 🤣
“So what racing games do you play?”
“Yes”
David H Gran Turismo Sport right now.

Now that steering wheel adjustment plate is just Awesome!!!. Nice video.
Definitely, a well built heavy duty rig!
I like the more upright sitting position which would be a lot more comfortable for ATS/ETS/FARMSIM.

Wow. I’m getting inspiration to build my own next week. Unfortunately I don’t have all the tools you have. This is an amazing build congrats
Thank you! Do it! I have slowly spoiled myself over the years with a decent tool collection. Start small and work your way up!
Kyle, the baby in your picture looks cute. Just a random compliment

Nice build !
loved the build and craftsmanship, do you have measurements/blueprints?
A fantastic job! Wish I had the skills.

I love your work place dude....
Where could I find any plans for this, if I would like to make one myself
so sophisticated
Hi friend, I saw that you were going to make the plant later, did you do it? Hug from Brazil!
Did you ever end up releasing plans for this build? Would love to build this set up!
Man i can't believe you went to all that trouble and you put a crappy g29 wheel on it 😄🤣, and that rig must weigh a ton lol, anyway happy racing dude👍
Any chance you have the plans for this?
Nice work. Some plans for this would be cool! Subbed.

What are those metal clips that you used to lock the steering wheel? And where did you get them?
nice build m8
would there be a chance I can get some plans of this build as I now want to make one myself
I seen you guys detail cars in gears and gasoline.
yea baby!
Genial essa ideia parabéns !
nice🙃
Badass!
I don’t understand why not a lot of people are into simracing
Where do I order one at ?lol
Saaaaaame!

Yea I won’t ever do that cross cutting with the fence. My uncle also advised haha so easy to mess up! Thanks for watching!
I want to build one almost exactly like what you build can I send you a message on Instagram?
