I will say a whole food plant based diet phased in correctly with high blended ripe fruits, exercise, and minfullness is a better strategy than medication I have UC and am living my life with no meds

100% correct I cured (yes CURED) IBD with a whole food plant based diet no meds or surgery. Don't buy into this nonsense of no connection between food and IBD or the reasons and triggers are unknown. Complete lies

@@dakotacoggins6700 I eat whole food plant based. That's it. No concern for carbs or protein intake, calories counting etc. Just eat healthy nutrient rich food when you feel hungry, the rest will work itself out. no processed foods, no chemical food additives, no vegan junk food products, no high fructose corn syrup, no beyond burgers and processed garbage, just plants as they grown in nature. Raw and cooked fruit, veg, avocados, nuts, seeds, chia, flax, sesame, tahini, whole grains, dark leafy greens, cruciferous broccoli and cauliflower, and LOTS of legumes lentils, chickpeas, natural hummus, beans, peas, soy beans, tofu (without chemical fillers), and starchy tubers potatoes and sweet potatoes, lots of prebiotics tons of onions, mushrooms, eggplants, bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers etc. No need for oil, liquid extracted fat refined or cold pressed serves no benefit to human biology. Red and dark berries and cherries great for anti oxidants. Fresh tropical fruits like mango, kiwi, pineapple have special enzymes great for digestion and anti inflammatory. Plus plenty of movement, exercise, grounding and sunshine. Do this and every chronic illness will vanish. Note if you have active IBD transition to plant based must be gentle and gradual over time. You cannot just switch overnight as high/raw fiber diet will irritate an inflamed and ulcerated gut, mimicking IBD symptoms.

This has been so true for myself as well! My doctor told me I cured myself by eliminating meat and dairy, while focusing on fruits, veggies, legumes, ect. Also focusing on exercise has been so helpful all around. No more bleeding, vomiting, pain, excessive bloat, diarrhea, constipation, excessive gas and 30lbs down!
