I'm IBD patient. So far, I'm treating with medication . But still I have constipation sometimes. I want to know whether it is normal to face constipation during medication. Or I need further treatment. Shall I consult dietician for my diet. Please suggest me something.
Yes, it would be best to speak with a dietitian as well as speak with your doctor about how the medication has been working and the effects you are feeling to see if it is the right fit for you.
I have got irritable I had a heart surgery replacing my aorta replaced one year ago and I am in more pain now than before the heart surgery thank you so much for your sharing it's greatly appreciated
My Gastro dr. Said I have IBS but I think I have something else, he keep telling me the same thing and I’m always with stomach pain, abdominal pain and send me to the bathroom and is very painful. I be in a bad mood every time and I’m thinking to go to another gastrointestinal for a 2nd opinion. Any sugestions anybody? Thanks!
Thanks for the video. A question: Does (light or a little hard) exercise have any positive effect on Ulcerative Colitis? During a flare or between flares. Normally, it is said that exercise is good (also) for the gut. But maybe no effect on UC is found.
I find this presentation poor, I wanted to know what is causing this inflammation? What foods to avoid, what foods are good? What vitamins can people take that might help? Most people don’t want to take pills for the rest of their life, doctors need to do better It is all about big pharmaceuticals making more money, sad
We are sorry to hear you did not like the presentation. The lecture is most helpful for people newly diagnosed or wanting to learn general information about IBD. Here is the link to the nutrition and IBD video you might find more helpful. badgut.org/information-centre/multimedia/ibd-nutrition-video/

If you're unhappy with the care you're receiving with that doctor it may be best for you to try getting a second opinion.
@@badgutcanada Thank you! I will do that. Keep up with the good info.
