This video is probably the record breaker for MOST COINS EVER! I watched it many times because I LOVE seeing the coins get counted! In fact this was one of the videos that got me motivated to start saving up again (basically coins and one dollar bills)! How long did you guys save up those coins for? That's what I'm curious to know!
Motivating video! About 10 years ago I saved up just under $800 in coins over about a year, which I ended up deposited into my bank. This year I decided to start saving coins again. It's been a bit over two months and I'm almost at $200. My goal is to save $1,000+ a year, for which I have to average $2.74+ a day, or $19.25+ a week. So far I'm on track. In order to be able to keep track of this I roll my coins each week as they add up. Keeping them organized and seeing $20+ add up each week adds to the motivation.
+Steve Greg Well they had to put them into that gallon jar they cracked open. If they knew to look for older coins I'd bet they didn't throw any silvers in.
@@RetroAP I actually used to get a lot from stores when I was in high school 2008-2012 he's been saving for years a good chunk could be silver coins. I see less now but will still get one occasionally.
What an oddly satisfying video,! (P.s I watch the ads on smaller channels always do they get paid) I know you work hard on these videos you deffenitly deserve compensation!!!
I was expecting the machine to go 'fuck you dude, I ain't swallowing that much in 1 go'. My god, how much did that jug weigh before you broke it, must have weighed a few hundred kilos. Hint, 1 kg is roughly 2.2 pounds weight.
In Japan, I had to trade a 1926 yen coin to get a 2008 quarter dollar. idk if i got stiffed but I checked online and found they cost around 20000 yen(about two watermelons) to buy 2015 unc ones
My local supermarket has one of these type of machines. I save up in a couple of jars with loose change and every few months, I go in and dump them in the machine and come out with a few bucks. Very convenient.
What bank is this and where's it located? TD Bank was the only bank in NYC that I know of that accepted unwrapped coins, now they don't. Anyone know a bank in NYC that has a coin machine?
The most ive saved up to was £658 in pennies but that soon went because of paying bills and buying food and watching this makes me want to start saving the pennies again

So you may be missing $100+ dollars depending on the weight of the jug.
I hope you checked them all for pre-1965 silver coins. Looks like me when I take in my coins, those bankers sure don't like having to do manual labor like switching out the bags. Cracks me up to hear them cry about how heavy the bags are and such.

That looked like fun! I’m gonna ask my bank to change $500 from me into change so I can use their coin-counting machine and get my (hopefully) $500 back!

ive gonna save ever single penny till i die and give all my money to my grand children swear well maybe not all the money problay like a little more then half

Ciel Phantomhive Ah was not paying attention then. Thanks! Still $3700 in a crappy savings account would have earned $37.00 or another 148 quarters.Over years it really adds up.
I had a mix of coins in the water jug shown here, collected as loose change over 5 years. It totaled $998 and I was disappointed it was not $1k. Cool video!
