    Thank you so much for this Kevin, I am finishing my degree and was assigned to write a paper on Network Security, I knew nothing about the topic and I know only the basic stuff about networking and security in general. Your detailed explanations of basic concepts and how to configure everything are of great help. This video gives me a lot of confidence that I will succeed. Thanks again :)

    Good morning Kevin that’s for this great video am from African and new to your channel and I love how you address every topics and how you break it down. Like I said am new to world of Tech and I don’t have any tech history or knowledge and I will follow all your videos step by step to become from zero to pro. But I like a favor can I get your email or social media page so I can communicate with you directly. I also like to ask where can I start from is Network security good to begin with as beginner or Network and concept of Networking?
    I will really appreciate if I can get a reply from you. I want to upgrade my self and hoping after I learning wish to get a good remote job or job offer to able to be financially stable and pay my debt and makes my family happy.

    Hey Kev, does Emeritus CCIE mean you stopped taking the written exams to renew? Just wondering if so, why you made that decision?

    • @kwallaceccie
      @kwallaceccie  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Emeritus is available after keeping your CCIE active for 10 years. Lifetime Emeritus is available after 20 years. Since I didn’t use my CCIE as part of the Cisco Partner program, there wasn’t an advantage to keeping an Active status.

    A lot of great information in here, but the 2022 cert list is kind of a joke with how it focuses on CEH. Only reason we see it so much as it is commonly listed on anything DoD related. The problem is the hiring managers don't respect CEH much anymore, so it's listed as its approved, but its not valuable and far from an "ethical" organization.
