    Hi,
Good video - just a few doubts
    1. When we talk about the pre-marriage certificate, in which stage is it getting issued?
    2. Will the marriage only take place after the marriage license is issued by the LCR? Generally how many days it takes for issuing the marriage license?
    3. After the church marriage is done, shall we be getting any document proof for the marriage? Within how many does do we need to submit it to the PSA for authentication?
    4. With respect to the documents for both the partners, is there any expiry date with respect to the documents?
    5. The father of my partner is in a different city and the mother is in a different city. Under such conditions, how could we get the parental consent? With a separate consent work?
    Thanks

You can get the marriage Certificate yourself or you can ask someone to get it. You just need to give them an authentication letter. And yes, 45 days ang release ng PSA office ng Marriage Cert.
Yes, you need to get the Marriage Cert apostilled in the DFA if you guys are planning to stay in India or if you're processing a document in other countries that requires marriage cert. Kasi hindi maging valid pag hindi apostilled. Pero if PH lang din naman, you don't need it.

    Hi,
Hope you are doing good. Kindly guide me with the following queries:
For the Parental Consent to Get Married - will it be okay, if it is not a joint affidavit?
Regarding the Parental Advice Upon Intended Marriage, is it an affidavit document? Where can we get this document done?
After the LCR releases the local copy of the marriage certificate, do we need to get it apostilled at the Indian Embassy? Or will the LCR release marriage certificate be enough proof of being married to your wife, while registering the marriage in India? How long does it take for the DFA to apostille the Marriage Certificate?
    Kindly guide. Thanks

    • @MaryInIndia
      @MaryInIndia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Hello 👋 both of them needs to have a signature in that affidavit.
You can get the Parental Advice Upon Intended Marriage from the city hall. The local marriage registrar has a copy for it.
The PSA office will release the Marriage Certificate (yellow-green color) and get it apostilled in the DFA. Til now, that's the copy we have at hand. You can order an expedite service in the DFA Manila.

As for your queries, When we got married in PH, I didn't have a history of going to INDIA. I went to India after our marriage in the PH.
Before my husband went to the PH to marry, he just collected the documents needed to get the Legal Capacity to get married here in Manila. Documents such as his Single Status Certificate, English Version of Birth Cert, and any other documents (you can check out the indian embassy website for the requirements to get the Legal Capacity).
