Hi! It is not yet known when visas for India will be usable again to travel to the country. Traveling to India for tourist will not be possible until at least 31 August.

Hi please could you suggest what is form c ? Because i want to apply for my wife entry visa from tourist and i am an indian origin but form c is something i don’t understand would apreciate if u have some knowledge on it
Form c is like apply online..its like details of residence and the foreigner who stays..like visa number and details on entry exit etc.....form c helps the official to maintain records and its good thing
But u need to do registration if foreigner stays more days like 60-90 maybe...

It will be stated on her visa on how long she can stay continuously in India and for how many entry is allowed for her within a year of validity 🙂

Yes, if you have a valid visa. And it says multiple entry, so yes, you can, as long as it's within the validity date.

@@dayanpezarkar7940 if your visa is really valid, then you don't need any other documents. But overstaying would need certain procedures that you can figure out by calling the FRRO office.

@@2009sehgal things could change during these times (because of pandemic) but in 2019, I got my evisa converted to Entry Visa (x1)

You don't need to go out of india once you have applied for the conversion in the FRRO... It was a mistake on our part because we didn't know this.
Hello ma'am, when applied for x1 visa extension do they come for verification to the given address or need to visit police commissioner office?

Hi, could you please clear this doubt as My family and my brother family lives together in the same flat/apartment and this flat is on his name so how could I produce the residence proof of it and if I make the rental agreement with him it would be enough to support residence proof for my wife? And it should be done normal notary or a registered lease agreement.

1. did your husband have to change his passport and have your name listed as spouse before u could apply for entry visa?
2. What is the apostille marriage cert? Where did u register ur marriage? India or abroad?
Hello, He did not change anything on his passport...
The Apostille is a process of validating documents that can be used internationally. We were married in the Philippines that's why I got our Marriage Cert apostilled by the DFA in the PH.

i am new to this topic as i have recently got married (in april 2022).
after that we applied at E-FRRO for my wife's spouse visa and uploaded all the documents/proofs asked by FRRO website. After waiting for 1-2 months,we got stay visa (for 3months) instead of a long term visa / x1 visa. Now we should apply for conversion of this visa to x1 visa? Can you guide please,it will be a great help for us.

Is it mentioned on Indian embassy website in the Philippines that regular tourist visa can be extended/converted? Because on website of Indian Embassy in Mozambique, it is clearly mentioned that a tourist visa cannot be converted/extended.
Some of the foreigners told me that they cannot convert their tourist visa to entry visa. But I got mine converted tho eventho it took me 6 months to get it.
@@MaryInIndia it depends on country to country i guess. They may have allowed Phillipines because of the relations with India. Mozambicans cannot get there visa converted or extended.

@@July0186 hindi po extendible ang etourist visa. After every 2 months (60 days), I went outside of india and applied for an etourist visa again 😕
