Epic guys. This is an epic product that serves another purpose (mainly audio) on my second gaming PC. Ordered mine along with the gold knobs 🤘🏼LOVE it 😍
The streamdeck does waaaaaay more things than just audio. Like open apps rearrange your open windows, lighting... and much more. Using this for only audio is like using your pc to charge your phone...

I know knobs are more versatile/powerful, and I know you can use two buttons to make a sort-of audio fader on the deck products, but do you have any plans to eventually come out with a Deck that has something like 6 physical fader on it and a row of buttons above or below the physical faders?

Considering purchasing this to get audio running from gaming pc to my streaming pc (dual pc setup).
My question is, does this replace the wave xlr? Or do they each serve their own purpose? Thanks!
I just purchased the StreamDeck+. I do not own a Wave Mic. (I use a Blue Yeti as well as a HeadRec binaural microphone routed through a separate mixer so the channels are panned to the left and right ears for immersive sound.) While WaveLink captures the audio from all my mics properly, neither the Monitor or Stream Mixes are sending any Output. The sound bars aren't moving in the Output section at the bottom of the WaveLink software. I don't know how to fix this. No settings on the Output Mix options work. I've tried wired headphones as well as wireless (preferred). I've even tried to use the Monitor Mix as a Windows system default input and then have that output to the headphones, but that doesn't work either. Please help???

Q: how would you suggest to record an interview with a remote guest using Wavelink on Mac so that the mic channel and the chat channel are recorded to separate tracks ie in Garageband or Audacity?
You could just do that through obs with 0 equipment to buy
do you have problems with cracking sound? i have the random Pop sound that rip your ears, don't know what is causing it.

What do you mean by gains? Stream Deck + can control the gain of Wave devices like Wave:1, Wave:3, or Wave XLR natively through Wave Link. But other third party microphones would need plugins or other workarounds.
@@ElgatoWorkshop but I use the wave dx microphone with the stream deck + when I see the drop down it doesn’t give me the gains
Without asking me when i hooked up my Wave 3 all elgato channels are now called wave 3. When they used to be called virtual. Should i uninstall everything and start over? Because my volumes are NOT being controlled properly and are such a mess im thinking of returning my stream deck plus and going back to me beacn mix and create.
4:27 , what do we do if the plug-in here for "hardware actions" (now called "Device") only shows our speakers but not our headphones to toggle outputs for Monitor Mix? In the wave link software I can manually swith it between the 2 but the plug-in doesn't see my headphones

how do i make it that instead of mute unmute when i press the dial it switches between monitor mix and stream mix.

Do you mean lag in the video we show?
It wasn't intended to be synced. We record the voice separate usually and then sometimes we'll play that audio when recording (for timing) so it seems to line up.
i cannot see the Streaming Output in the Stream Mix. i have to do anything first?

Hi there,
If you don't wish to hear the microphone in your headphones, you can mute the microphone for the Monitor mix.
Click on the Headphone icon below the microphone channel.
Is it possible to set an audio output to left channel and a different output to right channel? There are times where I may have to be on multiple conference calls and would like a find a quick way to put one call in left ear and another in right ear.

Not directly. But this is something we're considering for the future.
We also plan on making a video about ways to use Wave Link in dual PC setups. For now you can use the NDI VST and apply this to each of your Wave Link channels and then setup the NDI plugin in OBS on your streaming PC for each of the inputs and mix it separately inside of OBS.
I have a dual pc set up and was wondering if the elgato stream deck plus would work for audio purposes just like the goxlr

With the newest Wave Link 1.9, there is a new dedicated option for specifying a hardware output for StreamMix. Meaning you can now send a full complete mix to another PC.
When I mute my input in Wave Link, it does not mute. Turning up and down the volume works but nothing happens when I try to mute the input channel. Any help?
Let’s say I’m using a wireless gaming headset with the mic from headset . Can I still use stream plus to control everything even if I’m using a wireless headset with the mic ? I’m new to all this. Like can you add any audio source from the pc to wave link software ? Even is a mic from the headset ? Thank you
Hi Xmatador,
You can run pretty much any input/mic into Wave Link and have Wave Link output to almost anything as well. Running a wireless headset's mic into Wave Link and then back out to your headphones might have some noticable delay due to everything in the chain.
But your mic on the headset should appear as an option when adding a channel.
Is it possible to change the outputs with outher versions of the stream deck if im using a xlr wave?
Certainly! The actions that appear on Stream Deck keys will work on any Stream Deck. The unique aspects of Stream Deck + is the Touch Strip and dials. Otherwise the other functions work on other models.

Yes! You absolutely can use other audio devices with Wave Link. Stream Deck + is intended to open that up for users.
I dont see stream output on my stream mix

You can! You can set the wireless headphones as the monitoring device and then add the microphone as a channel in Wave Link. You can't necessarily control gain in Wave Link though. You'll set that separately in the OS.
@1:41 how do you do this with macbook M1, im about to return this product... I tried all the suggestions and it dont work right! Please advise
Wave Link inside of macOS doesn't need to manually send audio to different channels. You add application audio directly into Wave Link and then your Stream Mix and MicrophoneFX mixes will be sent to other programs.
Windows is limited in some areas and more flexible in others. Windows needs the routing step at 1:41
@@ElgatoWorkshop I understand now. Thank you for the reply. Apparently its my interface. I have the focusrite 4i4 and that thing is sooo basic! my old Mbox Pro 3 has all the right features I could utilize, however its about 15 years old now.

Hi John,
Stream Deck + has USB-C only on the back. There isn't a headphone port on the device. You'd use a headphone port on your PC/Mac or other audio interface and then route the audio through the Monitor Mix.
I have downloaded both applications yet stream deck interface isnt even recognizing wave link re installed both products applications yet nothing is showing wave link on stream deck app

how many 3rd party plugins can we use on mic every time i add second plugin it crashes and dnt respond after that have to keep uninstalling it and installing

It varies, but no more than 10 is usually our recommendation.

Wave Link is unlocked by Wave:1, Wave:3, Wave XLR, Wave Neo, or Stream Deck +. If you are referring to Stream Deck Neo, that is not a device that unlocks Wave Link.

Just got a Stream Deck+. My mic is not a Wave one. It's a generic that didn't come with its own software. Not having gain controls is detrimental.
We've forwarded your feedback to our Wave Link team. In the mean time, you can control the mixing volume of your microphone by using the Wave Link Input action. You can then control how loud your non-Wave mic is when mixed for Monitoring or Streaming.
Schade das Wave Link mein Stream Deck + nicht erkennt, egal was ich mache es findet es nicht. So nützt mir weder die software noch das Stream Deck etwas.

@@ElgatoWorkshop I had to manually install the Wave Link addon inside Stream Deck for it to work. The problem is I had no idea how to even get to the Stream Deck addon page (The button is really hard to find and its icon does not properly depict what it is). In your video it says it should just work automatically, which it didn't. Once I figured it out it worked fine though, and I'm happy with the product. The application could use a go-over from a proper UI designer though, I'm fairly sure the UI has been made by a developer.

@@ElgatoWorkshop Yeah, its just a tiny image of a keyboard or something like that, at first I actually found it by right clicking the icon of the app and selecting to the store.

I'm neither of those things and I figured this out in 30mins and had all my elgato equipment set up in under an hr 🤷🏾
