Sounds like "Treb boo shay." It's from the French word to trip. You see those old siege engines in historical and fantasy movies that throw giant rocks or clay jars of flaming oil? The ones with the rope on the end of the main shaft and a basket of counter weights on the short end - I think that's what they are called.
It seems like a app on a serially connected generic tablet would do the same thing as a streamdeck. Back before you were born we used digitiser pads that were completely configurable. Sumasketch I think was the brand.

Nutty bro I need your help. I need a microphone arm and all the arms come to be added to tables but my table is made of panels and it is very thick and none of the arms I have seen will work for me because they do not cover enough space. I want an arm that is mounted on the wall. I searched on the internet but I only found one and I didn't like it 😂 because I am looking for an Elgato style one, that is closed and the cable can be hidden. What do you recommend?

After watching one of your older videos, I just used the app to see if I would even use a physical stream deck or pay for the app. The six buttons on the free version are a little deceiving because, yes you technically only get 6 buttons but get multiple pages. After using it for a few days to stream and edit videos I am sold. I am still learning how to make certain features and get it to do what I am wanting to do.
i dont even stream i just love buttons, knobs, dials, audio interfaces, dacs, etc in my pc setup because i like the tactile experience and swear to god this has to be some form of ASD lmao so i got one of these.
My mini is set to cut ripple cut undo and add transition, makes cutting so much faster

Only reason I bought my XL is due to Streaming and I like knowing all my PC temps and info instantly without having to have it open wasting space on my second screen. Since then Ive used it to control fan curves, battery %, discord Mute/deaf and shortcuts for boot to bios, task manager, poweroff timer and other windows gadgets. Defo not getting the full potential from it but it does what I need it to. I like everything all in one place instead of across devices or screens

I've learned alot from you since I started streaming and using a stream deck. 1 problem I'm having is my discord related buttons stopped working. I used the mute, so I could do an intro and not everyone hear it in vc. But now I just get the yellow triangle. In the set up it tells me to log into discord but my discord is up. And no place to log in through the SD app. I didn't change anything and it worked when first installed but just stopped out of no where. I even tried deleting the button and resetting up but still won't work.
Reinstall discord 🤷
