Anthrax just a meat and potatoes band that seems so thankful for the people before them. I have mad respect for people like that plus old school Anthrax is just freaking great.
they are the only one of the big four that i have every record of, and are still in heavy rotation… franks bass sound and playing is a big reason for that…
I love Frank's conviction when he talks about his gear, even the shit that he doesn't get paid to advertise for you could tell he just loves the shit that he plays through which is so awesome.
I love these vids. I’ve been with Anthrax since Spreading the Disease and I can say that each member comes off like a regular dude. For a band with their tenure that is amazing. Class acts all around.
I met Frank at Guitar Center Orlando in 2013 when he did a bass clinic. Nicest guy in the world. Very humble & appreciative to his fans. He even signed a guitar I bought while I was there.
I have an ATL signature bass that has been my primary bass for the last several years and I just bought this LTD FB signature and I absolutely love it.
Got the time... I remember being at a friend's house playing Super Mario Bros 3, and my friend's older brother had Got The Time on eternal repeat ! The song was so imprinted in my head that I went out and also bought the Persistence Of Time CD ! This song was actualy my introduction to Anthrax !
Hey...what's not to love about Frankie and Anthrax. They are all good dudes and extremely proficient at what they do. Nick does a great job with these video's. You have to hear him play back in the day.
Nice great interview love all the tips love the hartke play one myself for 20 years still have it the original 3500 mosfet thank you mister Bello for helmet and anthrax
Mono straps are the best!!!! So is Shure!! It’s what we use also!! I also have the dual bass mono case! Absolutely a killer case!!! Highly recommend as well!!!
Thank you SW / NC / FB / AV folks . If I buy all his sig stuff from you, can you throw in "an evening jam session with Frank" bonus? Or even just "hang out with Bello" so I can ask him 483902834 questions. Love his stuff but especially who he is (in all the interviews I have seen thus far, anyway). What a great video, thank you for sharing. Good luck to SW, FB, Anthrax, and all involved - cheers!
These videos are informative but they never play a note which is annoying. How about play a bit here and there to illustrate? Is it a legal issue that they can't play?
All that talk and not one note of music. Maybe the sound of the signature bass (tribute version as well) with and without Sansamp would have been nice but hey...
Frankie, (my name is also Frank heh) You tone is it for me. A lot of bass players like that "warm" tone. No, I refer to your tone as "The chunky welfare peanut butter that tears the bread." Oh... and ya'll are both incorrect, it is "Metalliwhacker" Bass is meant to be plucked, not picked or strummed. This guy is an OMFG BAD ASS example: th-cam.com/video/e5zJEMbwEv8/w-d-xo.html&start_radio=1
It's impossible to not love Frank. Great guy and always entertaining.
Anthrax just a meat and potatoes band that seems so thankful for the people before them. I have mad respect for people like that plus old school Anthrax is just freaking great.
IT'S A MAD HOUSE!!!!!
State of Euphoria album is unreal fun
they are the only one of the big four that i have every record of, and are still in heavy rotation…
franks bass sound and playing is a big reason for that…
Seems like a pleasant young man and I hear his band’s music is quite listenable
I loved seeing this band on Married with Children when I was a kid.
They ate the mystery pack, not even dad would eat the mystery pack, these guys are cool!
I love Frank's conviction when he talks about his gear, even the shit that he doesn't get paid to advertise for you could tell he just loves the shit that he plays through which is so awesome.
One of the greatest bass player!!!! Ever, Never got the recognition that he deserved it , but to me he is the greatest!! Such a bass ass bass player!!
I love these vids. I’ve been with Anthrax since Spreading the Disease and I can say that each member comes off like a regular dude. For a band with their tenure that is amazing. Class acts all around.
Love Franks tone!!! I love when these great “rock stars” are just down to earth.. I’ve always respected Frank!!
What an absolute gentleman frank is. Love his interviews
Love Frank. He's from my neighborhood and we went to the same high school. Love his playing, it really makes the Anthrax sound.
I met Frank at Guitar Center Orlando in 2013 when he did a bass clinic. Nicest guy in the world. Very humble & appreciative to his fans. He even signed a guitar I bought while I was there.
I've waited for this for so long
I have an ATL signature bass that has been my primary bass for the last several years and I just bought this LTD FB signature and I absolutely love it.
Anthrax is one of the best bands I’ve ever seen live
Got the time... I remember being at a friend's house playing Super Mario Bros 3, and my friend's older brother had Got The Time on eternal repeat ! The song was so imprinted in my head that I went out and also bought the Persistence Of Time CD ! This song was actualy my introduction to Anthrax !
Awesome... saw him last summer in New Hampshire... such a great performer!
From 6th grade till 46 years old now still love Fank........great player nice guy.
One of my favorite bassist and a reason I picked up playing bass!!
Awesome! 😎
Did not expect to see a blast from the past in the form of Nick Bowcott! Nice!
Hey...what's not to love about Frankie and Anthrax. They are all good dudes and extremely proficient at what they do. Nick does a great job with these video's. You have to hear him play back in the day.
Yesss!!
Always loved anthrax but never really hear any interviews from frank. What a killer dude!
Nice great interview love all the tips love the hartke play one myself for 20 years still have it the original 3500 mosfet thank you mister Bello for helmet and anthrax
You guys interviewed the entire band. KUDOS!! Thank you again for the Anthrax series. Thank you Anthrax for playing along.
😎🤘
That bass looks 🔥
Excellent video, thx frank
Awesome! Hope for more Anthrax stuff!! Greetings from Germany
Mono straps are the best!!!! So is Shure!! It’s what we use also!! I also have the dual bass mono case! Absolutely a killer case!!! Highly recommend as well!!!
Thanks for helping me figure out that got the time intro, frank your the best!
Frank Bello is pure class.
I picked one ( of the LTD's ) up in January right from Sweetwater's show room i love it and love Sweetwater!!!
frank is absolutely right about the Hartke LH series. easily the best bass amp I've ever played through. powerful enough for any situation
It would be really great a rig tour with Jason Newsted, I love his bass sound when he played in Metallica and his own band Newsted.
Wow Nick oh yeah and frank too
Guys, I thought the same thing Bello did about Harris, I too use 3 fingers when playing, and ride on the pickup, like ole Geezer lmao
That's a great idea how they took that pedaltrain and attached it to rails for rack mounting.
All these years and I'm still trying to learn that bass break in Skeletons in the Closet.
Help me out Frankie!
awesome video, awesome guy
That guy interviewing Frank sounds just like Lemmy.
Great interview, I'm actually going to listen to some Anthrax now, give them another chance, lol!
The Profile Black Magic P-bass had the same colour scheme, sans red pickups about 30 years ago.
Ive always wanted to get another ltd fb bass...hopefully soon lol thank you sweetwater for showing us this view
I love my squier skull and bones mb4 designed by frank bello
Is that Frank Bello, or Frank Bello played by John Turturro?
His tone is not the standard "warm" tone, I call Frankies tone that "Chunky welfare peanut butter that tears the bread". Can you feel it?
Trace Elliot AH500 head and Hartke cabs.... ughhh, If I had two dicks......
Bro I’ll buy that bass
I play fingerstyle to make my hands happy. What's the best bass? The one my left hand likes the neck.
I play fast stuff with 3 fingers as well because I too thought I learned that from Harris lmao.
Good interview. .. Nick Bow cott -the interviewer. Wasn't Hey in the band Grim Reaper? ... Remember? See you in hell?...
Why don't they play a little bit on these rig rundowns?
Haven't seen one of these in the stores yet.... Wonder how it compares to the Fender's Duff Aerodyne? Looks pretty similar...
man i wish this signature model came in left
Y’all should do a rig rundown with KISS
Hi. The pickups on the LTD version of the ESP FBJ4, are passive or active? thanks
Passive. :) he starts talking about them at 1:09

I want to try sans amp, I use the darkglass x ultra for now tho
Billy Sheen talk about fast fingers lol
saved the best for last....
Only seen Hetfield playing an LTD live once
He forgot the KHDK pedals.
Helmet... I used to listen to them, interesting.
Dude dosnt age
Hetfield doesn't play LTDs live.
Rashid Sivaji the semi acoustic he does
SteveV74 what semi acoustic? If you’re talking about Takamine he doesn’t use those or the TLs.
Yeah... Still need to sell my back to get an ltd
he is so bad he should be in detention
Hes the man
These videos are informative but they never play a note which is annoying. How about play a bit here and there to illustrate? Is it a legal issue that they can't play?
I Have no idea what Franks sound is. You can not hear him on any Anthrax recording. another band that buries the bass in the mix.
gregg4164 listen to Persistence of Time. Great album, and you’ll get a sense of his tone for sure.
So not true. Get your ears checked.
Ok but here's the thing. He didn't make that bass. LTD made it.
All that talk and not one note of music. Maybe the sound of the signature bass (tribute version as well) with and without Sansamp would have been nice but hey...
I hate 10's. If you dont have cabs with 15's i dont want to know.

too much fanboy sponser promoting & not enough rig talk.
The bass head he uses has alot of negative reviews on its reliability.
