- Our 2nd visit to the Anna Maria Oyster Bar. There are several locations in the area, but we visited the Bridge Street Pier location, on beautiful Anna Maria Island.
They are known for their fish-&-chips, as well as their namesake...oysters. Their oysters are available in several flavor varieties.
Cute opening! Really liked the looks of the fish and the items on the menu. So glad you got the camera off of the rail before it went to the water. That would have ruined your experience at AMOB. The picture quality of the video looked great. Great job!
We actually wanted to switch our faces, and have me with the women's bathing suit on. But she wasn't quite tall enough to get her face all the way through the top one, so we had to do it this way. We figured that would be a unique opening.
We had a couple of looks from people going by.
Yes, watching my camera fall into the water would have been very disheartening. I'm not sure if it would have, but it was moving slightly with that wind, and I was not about to take the chance of a really strong gust coming through.

We've been there twice, and have enjoyed it both times.
But they got a good menu . We use to go to Daytona Beach and West Palm Beach three times a year⚓🇺🇲🦋💕👍 thank you for your service

Anna Maria my favorite vacation spot. Please don't advertise it too much we don't want it crowded 😆 . If you haven't tried the Smoqehouse it is an excellent place for lunch and make sure to try the cole slaw.
We are actually staying just a stone's throw down from the Smoqehouse. And I'll tell you what, Anna Maria is very crowded right now. They said this is one of their top weeks for tourism. Traffic is terrible.

Yes, it was very good. And like I mentioned right after saying I ate 8 pieces, the pieces were thin and not full-sized pieces. Otherwise, I would not have eaten 8 of them.
But since that's the only day they offer the all-you-can-eat special, I was going to take advantage of it and get my money's worth. Great place!
Can ya'll do a quick video of the beach where you are? We always go to Captiva/Sanibel but after the hurricane its going to be a while before they can handle tourists again. We need an alternative that is still on the gulf.
Yes, there will be a video showing some nice shots of the beach here. We have actually taken several video clips of the beach here, both during the day, and at sunset. We will be posting those under our video about miscellaneous clips from Anna Maria island. It may be when we get back home or early next week, before it's up. But it should give you an idea of what the beach here looks like.

It appears that the birds in the area were going to purchase the pier, they did put a deposit on it.
