“Maybe Tien should’ve stayed a villain, he didn’t really do much in Z” 1) saved Goku from King Piccolo and all his friends from Piccolo Jr explosive wave. 2) defeated his respective Saibaman 3) was stated to almost kill Nappa with his final attack if Nappa hadn’t noticed 4) showed the biggest feat for a human ever by stopping Semi Perfect Cell (who had just destroyed Piccolo, 17, and 16) for a good period of time. Only for Vegeta and Krillin to ruin everything. 5) saved Gohan, Dende, and Hercule from Super Buu (with SSJ3 Gotenks and Piccolo absorbed). All the while having an actual compelling character arc, by Dragon ball standards, which can’t be said for most of the entire cast. By your logic, Krillin who had just collected dragon balls, caused Cell to absorb 18, and got spit on by Dabura, as well as Vegeta who screwed up everything for everyone every arc, didn’t do much. Not Tien’s fault that his character wasn’t popular and Toriyama wanted to sideline him and the other humans (Yamcha, Chiaotsu, Yajirobe).
gokus saiyan blood really showing in this episode. mans was so hyped to fight his friend. Not because he has feelings of malice towards him, but because he sees kirllin as a strong and worthy opponent, who he holds at a very high standard. He knows hes about to have an awesome fight.
I wouldn't say underrated. Almost everyone who has seen Dragonball loves this fight. It's just widely unknown because sadly most people still only have seen Z and what came after that.
11:20 Krillin uses Gum Gum Balloon in Dragon Ball several years before Luffy does in One Piece, and in the original Japanese dub both are voiced by Mayumi Tanaka.
This whole arc is my favorite in the franchise for a reason and this stretch is the bulk of it. Roshi's sequences with Tien really are the moment we see the full depth of his martial arts mastery. And yeah, this fight is incredible too.
9:05 Love that part where Krillin can't see Goku, looks to the sides, then assumes he's behind, his expression is priceless, and then vanishes and evades Goku's attack. It's less than 10 seconds of animation but it gives so much about Krillin XD.
This fight is legit amazing. I also forgot this was the episode where Tien confronts Roshi too, which has some deep moments. Great episode and reaction!
Cute Girl with REALLY BIG Glasses: "Tien hasn't done much in DBZ." Meanwhile, Tien ALMOST spared Vegeta and Trunks getting their asses handed to them from Perfect Cell.
It's a damn shame Toriyama forgot about Launch. I'm just glad MasakoX did her justice with starting a family in What If Raditz Turned Good and Dragonball R&R.
If only Raditz would've stuck around during the Namek saga and overheard the whole truth, then maybe it's possible for him to have a change of heart, settle on earth and start a family with Launch. But on the other hand, he did try to kill his brother and nephew, so Raditz would probably spit on Bardock's grave despite his attempt to stop Frieza. So 50/50
Hi Melon This is a really great Episode Goku vs Krillin is one of the best fight in original Dragon ball for me And the moment were Krillin asked Goku to take him seriously as an opponent and Goku agreed with and promised to give it everything he had is such a sweet moment I also liked to add The Master Roshi conversation with Tien also was will done to And yes Tien did do things in Dragon ball z he took on Nappa when him and Vegeta first showed up on earth And in chapter 3 when Android 18 was on the run from 2nd from Cell he all most died trying to stop him
Tien being a Villian wouldn’t gotten power crept way too soon and I’m sure you’ve seen that now lol him being a good guy was a part of his character arch when there was still good writing in DB. All that plus actual good fight choreography flew out the window once Z started for all the side characters
You'd think there would be a lot of entries in the Young Krillin Owned Count, this episode; but surprisingly there wasn't. Krillin's kept pace with Goku very well so far; I'm not even counting that punch to the face at 9:03, since it barely fazed him.
What were the most notable in other episodes? Seems to me like too much DBZA on the brain, when most of Young Krillen's antics matched up with everyone else at the time.
Love the fight but did they really have to cut out Mezase Tenkaichi again? It just feels completely random when they decide to leave it in in the English version. Leaving it out completely diminishes the excitement of the fights it's used in in the Japanese version.

I think it's because tien have this air of being "sigma" in him that vocal women hate him

I love the back and forth between Tien and Roshi, that has to be the deepest dialogue in Og Dragonball
Facts and its my favorite
Goku vs Krillin is just a BEAUTIFUL fight! 🔥
ik
One of the best and sadly most underrated fights in the series!
I wouldn't say underrated. Almost everyone who has seen Dragonball loves this fight.
It's just widely unknown because sadly most people still only have seen Z and what came after that.
Hell nah everyone talks about it
The yamcha or jackie chun fight is alot more underrated
11:20 Krillin uses Gum Gum Balloon in Dragon Ball several years before Luffy does in One Piece, and in the original Japanese dub both are voiced by Mayumi Tanaka.
One of the best fights in the series!
the black screen all of a sudden scared me LMAOO I thought the internet went out or smth cuz it was raining heavy outside
yeah same!
Same wth was going on with the editing on this video?
i thought my pc had died
I though I forgot to pay the internet 😂
Goku and Krillin are both great fighters
This whole arc is my favorite in the franchise for a reason and this stretch is the bulk of it. Roshi's sequences with Tien really are the moment we see the full depth of his martial arts mastery. And yeah, this fight is incredible too.
Their first fight. Now you know why it was a big deal in DB Super for them to fight again.
Tien saved the day in Z twice, once by stopping Cell, and the other time by saving mr Satan and Dende against Buutenks.
9:05 Love that part where Krillin can't see Goku, looks to the sides, then assumes he's behind, his expression is priceless, and then vanishes and evades Goku's attack. It's less than 10 seconds of animation but it gives so much about Krillin XD.

These fights are why the World Martial Arts Tournament is still in business.
Krillen remembered that they were in fact cartoon characters and inflated himself accordingly
Personally I like the Tien and Roshi dialogue more than the goku and krillin fight from this episode but that's just me
Cute Girl with REALLY BIG Glasses: "Tien hasn't done much in DBZ."
Meanwhile,
Tien ALMOST spared Vegeta and Trunks getting their asses handed to them from Perfect Cell.
Launch being epitomy of what saiyan became is funny easter egg early whever it was intentional or not.
She was also the inspiration for another character.
Krillins first Solar Flare was an accidental reflection off his head.
One of the best fights in the series
Period
It's a damn shame Toriyama forgot about Launch. I'm just glad MasakoX did her justice with starting a family in What If Raditz Turned Good and Dragonball R&R.

Goku vs Krillin is one of the best Fights in OG Dragon Ball
Bro there’s no way Roshi was eyeing that little girl like that 😮😂
Bulma was underage when Roshi first met her.
@@coltchan7380 I know but as bad as that was she was at least 16. This girl can’t be more than 10 lol Roshi the ultimate creep
One of my favorite fights 🔥👏 Goku vs Krillin
Their match has a scene that you can actually feel 😂
Dragon ball can drag on but it does have amazing moments that help it stand out from its sequels
It's settled.... I think we actually need three or four dragon ball days instead of two lmfao 🤣
This is by far my favorite fight in the dragonball franchise.
Quotes from this episode:-
"Do you think I am a Goku Sympathizer?"
- Oolong
"Outlaw all Haters"
-Master Roshi
And the winner of the fight will grow normally to adulthood.
9:24 why does the screen cut to black all of the sudden? I thought there was something wrong with my browser.
Hi Melon This is a really great

Goku vs Krillin
All ima say is that I despise youtube copyright
Yeah! Here we go! Goku vs Krillin!
THIS is Peck DB animation.... yes some re-used in classic fashion.... but the Coregraphy (actual fighting) in this fight is best of the whole series
Thats the same attack Grandpa Gohan used against Goku at 10:35
Goku vs. Piccolo, Goku vs Krillin, Jackie Chun vs.Tien, Yamcha vs. Tien, Goku vs. Piccolo Jr. Are my favorite fights in Dragon Ball
boosting the algorithm with a reccomendation for Samurai JAck, The Owl House and Steven Universe
7:27 in my opinion,that's a Classic reactor move😕
I'm disappointed but its excepted...
Tien being a Villian wouldn’t gotten power crept way too soon and I’m sure you’ve seen that now lol him being a good guy was a part of his character arch when there was still good writing in DB. Tien was a jerk at most when he was a villain. He never actually killed anybody.
You'd think there would be a lot of entries in the Young Krillin Owned Count, this episode; but surprisingly there wasn't. Krillin's kept pace with Goku very well so far; I'm not even counting that punch to the face at 9:03, since it barely fazed him.

@@alfredgomez3128 And that's the joke.
This is probably peak DB, although it stays great until the end.
This tournament and the king piccolo arc is peak imo
Love goku vs Krillin.
To me, Roshi vs Tien and Goku vs Krillin is peak Dragon Ball
Krillin underdog? Six under dog maybe.
This is a great fight. It's one of my favorite of the series.
Dbz for life sorry I'm very drunk right now I've always been in tears us version

Love the fight but did they really have to cut out Mezase Tenkaichi again? It just feels completely random when they decide to leave it in in the English version. Leaving it out completely diminishes the excitement of the fights it's used in in the Japanese version.
The worst is that you hear this song some episodes ago, so what was the actual reason to cut it out? I don't get it
🔥❤️🔥🔥
Let's goooooo
