I spun the wheel and won a Greg Salazar notification. What a treat!
🤭 I receive +10fps 😉
Omg the cringe
Whats even more hilarious at the end, he hit that WIN, it was the original WIN pie slice that he hit, not one of the added ones :)
True dat. 😀
His reroll was from the added ones thou.
And so, Greg's Charlotte Adventure comes to an end. It was great being a part of it! That crew in Charlotte all deserve a PC because they are that awesome!
Good guy, Greg. It's nice to see you give back to the good people working at Micro Center.
They've all been awesome!
@@GregSalazar I've watched a lot of the Gear Up Videos, and they are awesome. Truly deserving for their good work. Thank you, Greg, for being awesome.
Thats the salesperson who helped me pick out the parts for my latest build last month.
Thanks!
I wish microcenter would come to the uk. You've made me want to travel to the states just to visit one 😂
Just had the exact same tought.
Nop, it is not great, they are really dirty, like most companies in the us... If you have many issues with your hardware you will discover that they don't respect paid warranties, and then just block you
In France too !
@@spacextom ahhaa somebody deleted my comment where ai explained why microcenter sucks, I am wondering who 🤡🤡🤡
Again...
I was reading it as WHZ at first before you turned the wheel :D
Hahah yeah by the time I noticed that it was too late 😅
I was seeing 3HZ
I was the same, but it definitely took me a lot longer
THANK! YOU! Same thing, here.😎
I still don't know what's it supposed to say. WHZ!? WHN!?
Probably need to take that wheel to a tire shop and have it balanced! lol
Hahahah you're probably right 😂
@@GregSalazar btw what you are doing is illegal. by not having a balanced hweel.
@@turtlefrog369 how so? its not like he charge people to spin the wheel.. and they all span the same wheel making it fair and square.
@@vhalta he changed the wheel mid way.
@turtlefrog369 illegal? go outside bro hahaha
Just got back from work and saw greg's new vid feels like the fatigue instantly disappears.
I very much appreciate the support!
Ashik has helped me 3 separate times at the Charlotte location. Easily one of the most knowledgeable and kind people I have ever met. The prices and people like Ashik keep me a loyal Microcenter customer. I was secretly hoping he would win the PC!!!
I'm convinced that that Micro Center is so large that Greg entered and was never able to find the exit.
He randomly sits down on the floor to edit these videos and charge camera batteries 😂
@@Nathan_Lundstrom How did you know?!
I live in Charlotte and was thrilled to go to the Micro Center during its soft opening. Sorry I missed seeing you in person. Thanks for the plug for Charlotte!
This series in Micro center has been awesome, and the editing on this video was great!
I'm spoiled we have 5 Microcenter in a 30 minute radius of where I live.
Socal?
@@EhEhEhEINSTEIN guessing NYC area
I hope you and micro center keep this up, love this series. I'm back in FL, so miss having the Atlanta stores within 2 hrs of me. We need one in the Orlando or Ocala area. Make it happen.
Lol, microcenter it is not that good, their customer support sucks... Once you start having issues, you become not welcome
Wow that's nuts
I give you HUGE props.. your generosity is awesome and I only wish I lived closer (I7 8700,Red Devil 580)…… definitely could use an upgrade 😂😂
"way longer than it should have to build" is just the norm when it comes to mini PC builds.
We need Micro Center all over Europe too! Great store, great people.
In the past month I've watched all of your fix or flop, pcdc and gear up videos. Awesome content and also learned a lot. Thanks
I greatly appreciate that!
Haven’t missed a single video that you have posted. Love your vids man
Love your videos Greg so informative and entertaining to watch thank you for all you do. ❤
Glad you like them!
My compliments on a good job! Very generous and nice of you to go out of your way for some good fun. 😎👍
Microcenter is like a playground for us 😂 Glad and at the same time jealous, you guys have easy access of Microcenter.
Nice build for the dollars.
The 8 hours later cut was hilarious!
I am glad one of the staff get to take home a nice rig!
Came here for the build. Stayed for the awkward handshakes. Guys there are pros.
Very nice of you to give away that new system to one of the employees at the store.
Sparkle cards are awesome...so are the GUNNIR ones....those ones are ❤🔥but pricey...
Giving the Micro Center employees a chance to win is a long time coming. That's awesome for them!
That was very nice of you! 🖥️
NO WAY, the intro song is something I havent heard in like a decade! I listened to the Above and Beyond Group Therapy podcast while I worked on projects for my electromechanical engineering course in college, and this is a song they played back then! Man I just got teleported back to when I was designing the PCB for my power supply project cause this was playing at that time, forgot about it but it came back like it happened yesterday 😭
Bay Area needs a Micro Center again. Used to have one in Santa Clara before the Pandemic. We need one back here badly since Fry's Electronics died.
The closest is Irvine. Where there any women that worked at that one. I used to work at the Detroit Micro Center in BYO. We had plenty of women. When I go to the Orange County one there's zero. Which seems so odd to me...
I have to work in 95 degree weather today, and I'm scared. This series always helps calm me before work, thank you Greg.
I was sure Blake Wins cus his Name ist "Blake W!".
W stands for Win!
Always enjoy watching all your videos man!
I appreciate that!
Good to see someone cares about employees.
This series is a love hate relationship for me, only because I truly like to see the PC game tested after each build and not being able to see what the arc card was capable of now an days is the part I hate. 😅
The A750 was on par with a 3060 in most of the games I tested, but that was a couple years ago.
The problem is that it won't "just work" with any game you throw at it, as nVIDIA and AMD GPUs usually will. The way they've been handling driver support is very similar, IMHO, to the way that nVIDIA and 3Dfx traded blows back in the day with OpenGL versus Glide. Most games work, but some games don't, and they have to patch the drivers for the ones that don't.
I put Intel's current offering at the equivalent of what Matrox was doing back in the day: decent cards, very affordable price, won't blow your socks off. I do hope Battlemage brings some fiercer competition.
@LabCat I believe the gpu in this video was the A770 which is the best card intel currently makes and I feel they've had plenty of time for the proper driver updates to make this card a serious contender now an days. But no one has posted any recent videos on it that i watch. I'm hoping they step it up with battlemage
Micro Center, if you're reading the comments, please put up a store in Manila, Philippines! :)
sea shanty from oldschool runescape lovely sound :P
I had no idea you could swap out parts on the bundles. That's awesome!
Wish i had a extra 1000 laying around!
Would love to have one of these!
Greg......once again my dude we do not have a Micro Center in AZ. I myself and plenty of others would want one in AZ. That is the dream currently. Been a loyal subscribed member for a while and truly enjoy your content that you provide. Keep it up
Great MBoard, this ITX Z690 and 12600k has served me well for almost 2 years.
I’m still loving the OSRS jams ❤
I've thought about doing an ITX build at some point and had a friend suggest looking for cases that have carrying handles. You'd be surprised how many I found!
man those handshakes were CURSED
get that sea shanty at the end good on you sir
Love those videos. Thanks to you and Micro Centre for doing this series! I wish there was one on Montreal, but I guess I will have to stop by one on my next vacacions in the US.
hi greg im from the philippines always watching you great videos keep up for more exiting videos to learn
As someone who also would have had to be sweet talked into doing this I'm glad he won.
7:00 it’s sooooooo cuuuuuuuuuute!
When I need him most he uploads the video i need the most
i really hope a store like this comes to las vegas sometime, would be awesome to have one of these close!
I love that the reflection of the lamps dance as the spinner spins.
I made myself laugh, reading the Wheel. "WTH does WHZI mean?" OOOOHHHHH WIN!
i wish we had here in spain a place like microcenter, looks dope for people that like computers
Awesome video. I hope you do a visit to the Miami store once it's open and you announce it. Would love to meet you in person. Ironically we both live in Orlando.
Whoa, a giveaway? Always classy Mr Salazar!
Sparkle primarily makes power supplies. Also a bonus, the win slices looks like it spells mhz.
Anyone else just watch this for the awkward handshakes 😂 he killed me!
Need to get a better wheel for the next season of gear up! That wheel is cursed or something
WHAT?!?! SEA SHANTY 2 OMFG, HAD TO MAKE SURE IT CAME FROM THE VID :D
We need more of these awkward handshakes ! 😂
Is something therapeutic about watching a computer being built...
Great video. Please keep up these wonderful series. :)
Ooh, Mini ITX - good for space saving but not my preferred choice of motherboard/build. This one only has 2 RAM slots, and the small space really limits what you can put in as add-ons.
Still, a nice little system for someone!
you know what I love more than a Greg Salazar upload... TH-cam not telling me Greg Salazar has uploaded a new video when the notification bell is white
Those two MC employees looked like they were split roasting that rig at one point.
Greg why didnt you want to go with a Thermaltake tower 100 for the case? roughly the same size, A LOT easier to work in, has a handle option and can be assembled in two different ways. Also has different panel options. All for about $20 more. It seems like that would have been the way to go?
I was about to instant transmission my self there Greg 😅 thankfully someone won it
I use that same Meshroom case! The crazy part about my pc is I fit a full sized atx mobo and an rtx 4080.
wow what a nice little build .. i like it !!!
That would look sweet in my living room 😉. Great content Greg.
Thanks for watching!
Yessur! Another great upload!
Thanks for watching!
Nice little pc.
Canada needs a micro center
Yup! my discrete gpu was a Sparkle (GEForce) after replacing my then ATI Radeon 9250 Pro back in the day
This wheel turned out pretty funny :D
Wish we had MC in the UK, closest we ever got to it was probably PC world in its past form.
Behind the back pool shots, slick. Behind the back handshake, awkward...
preciate-chu greg.
RS tune at end😄
I absolutely despise building in smaller cases, its a pain. But I sure do like other people do it. Side note, I wish more people would give the Arc cards a shot, especially the 750/770. Drivers have massively improved and... they're cheap! Lol at the wheel STILL being an issue, I remember it hitting $800 like two months in a row on the build a PC series.
Nice to see high tier videos of tech mainly pcs. wish it could be me someday!
I live in Illinois. We have two Microcenters in our state. Nice.
A Micro Centre would be nice in South Africa
We have a similar chain of stores in Canada (Canada Computers), but the prices are not as close as I'd like.
No wonder, no one managed to go higher than $900 during Gear Up.
Those Yellow sections are really bad roll.
SEA SHANTY 2!!!!
I need your opinion, it was just another day, my brother turned on the pc as usual, then BAAAAM, loud bang in the psu, and the avr fuse popped, when that happens, what are the chances that the motherboard or other components were blown too.
R5 3500, gtx 1660super, msi b450 mortar max, m.2 ssd lexar, seagate 1tb 3.5 hdd, and the psu is corsair cx750
I removed the psu to the system unit, and do a paper clip test, the psu fan didnt rotate, nor any output voltage on the connectors
Im using this pc for college, and my brother is using this for board exam review, i dont wanna get ripped off by someone telling me all parts are blown and i need to change it all up, thats why im asking what are the chances for it to blown other parts
It’s absolutely tragic these guys aren’t in Washington or Oregon, we lost our Fry’s Electronics during covid and no longer have a store like this :\
love the runescape music at the end lol...
I wished I had a micro center but the closes is in Marietta Ga and I am in panhandle of Florida
Hey Greg,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m a big fan of your Fix and Flop series and have a question about a problem I’m currently facing. I was playing a game on my system when it suddenly rebooted. I thought it might have been a random restart. After the system rebooted, I played the game, then turned it off after my gaming session.
Two or three days later, when I tried to start my PC, there was no power when I pressed the power button. I noticed a mushy feeling in the button, so I initially thought the issue might be with the PC case power button. However, after attempting to jump-start it from the motherboard, I still didn’t get any POST. Do you have any idea if this issue might be related to the power supply or the motherboard?
I couldn't do a small case I need something the air has room to circulate and also can add a good aio and GPU I think bigger is better
rercently moved to germany. i miss having all thtose great microcenters
Of course Greg gets the shortcut treatment...he's an influencer. 🙂
very similar build to mine, running a h670 mobo and 4070 super though
Dan Case A3 would be my choice
can we talk about sea shanty song bruh , this is it for me
I'm using the Arctic Freezer 36 Black air cooler and it's perfect for the 12600kf
