    I had the same issue on my 1.4, you can actually cut that rubber hose off and get a 5/16 coolant hose (I believe that's the size) and a few hose clamps and just replace that rubber part of the hose. Took me 20 minutes. I did not have to remove the turbo.

    • @viehweger
      @viehweger 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If I may ask, which hose are you referring to. There are quite a few of them discussed here. lol

    The turbo on my Cruze had exact same crack. Slapped some jb weld on that witch and poof no more code. Been driving it about 80 miles a day for about a year now. Code hasn’t came back. For those diy people I suggest replacing the gaskets on the oil filter housing / oil cooler. Removing oil from the cooling system is not fun, ask me how I know 🤦🏻😂😂 these cars are known for those gaskets to fail. Causing real bad oil leaks. Great video by the way.

      Right!!! The infamous valve cover leak and missing bypass valve in the intake. All the common issues with this car could have been fixed with two better designed pieces of rubber and a more robust wastegate 😂

    Genuine GM JUNK! You can tell it is junk by all the extra parts you need to remove and replace for a hose job. The job will be easier because installation is all new parts. Good job fellas.
