The Fanatec video reviews and their website show that it can be attached, but upon reading the fine print, it doesn’t (in the way it’s designed). I found a workaround today on Reddit that if you turn the F-GT lite plate 180 degrees, the holes will align in a triangle pattern to attach. I’ll test it and let you know how it goes.
@@dontel68 I have mine mounted to gt lite and works fine just Turn plate around And use the strap that it came with the hold it all together the black one loop around the front bar and the bottom bar of the chair and tighten down next level race and has a video about it
Many thanks to Fanatec that there is an Auto function in the steering wheel settings , if not for it , I would never have set up the steering wheel normally. There are a lot of different customization materials on the Internet, but Auto is the most adequate for Gran Turismo 7. I use it on DD pro.
You're gonna have a blast. I've got all you ordered, minus this base... which I will be getting. I absolutely love the pedals and V2.5 wheel. I got the one with white markings to better match the rest of my Fanatec stuff. Just FYI, in case you didn't notice the white one (it isn't super obvious that the red one isn't the only one). Have fun, man! Waiting a couple months is no biggie. I had gotten into sim racing just before the pandemic. So from the time I decided to pull the trigger to the time I got it all in-house was a bit more 7 months. Back orders on all the Fanatec stuff I wanted AND on the cockpit. Had to wait 2 months just for the flippin' seat.

Currently I am side mounting it to my hard mounted playseat evolution Alcantara Gran Tourismo playseat which is on a large piece of thick Ply wood seat mounts and cross member is bolted down with an all carpeted finish to prevent any extra sway and look flush , using a 4K 43pus8536 by Philips with hdmi 2.1 to immerse me 😀
@@azzazz4549 technically no bro it's now just classed as the UK since we left the EUs grasp I think with my particular package I was super lucky not to get a customs charge. I bought an alloy wheel for my car and it took 5 weeks to arrive from the check republic and got hit with an import fee was raging lol. The fanatec package came in 3 parts I got 2 one day and 1 the next.

Correct. Settings can be made in the game settings and also with the steering wheel menu. If its your first ffb wheel I recommend to see the fanatec recommend settings on their website
@Fanatec why aren’t those button caps came with the bundle of the gt dd pro? For me it is really annoying to not know exactly where the button is I am looking for? Because I bought the steering wheel you see in the video and the button caps that came with the steering wheel are not for PlayStation
Same (more or less). Bought the V3s, a Podium Classic Wheel and the Clubsport F1 2019 (and already got the McLaren GT3 from a few friends). Now it‘s time to wait for this base
We do not include bolts because the bolt length is critical (too short and it might not be secure, too long and it can damage the base), and we cannot predict the thickness of the surface you are mounting it to.
If you are using this on PlayStation do u need to go to the website and download the latest driver right out of the box or can i just unpack it, turn it on, ad start playing?

It is plug and play on PS4. However, we always recommend keeping firmware up to date. If you ever run into an issue (software or hardware related), the first thing our support team would ask you is whether you have updated your firmware.
@@borchrs9292 If you are seeing 'Locked' on the Tuning Menu it means you are in 'A SET' which is Auto Setup mode, where everything is locked and controlled by the game. You need to change to a different setup by pressing up or down on the d-pad. If you are in the Standard Tuning Menu, the only other option will be 'C SET'. C SET will allow you to adjust the BRF value. To unlock five preset slots (SET 1 to SET 5) and the full range of Tuning Menu settings, you need to be in the Advanced Tuning Menu. Please check one of our recent Steering Wheel video guides for an explanation. It is also explained from page 18 of the Gran Turismo DD Pro Wheel Base Manual. Why is the DD Pro 120€ more expensive than the CSL DD? From a technical point of view, both are the same and why is there no 5Nm variant? So you could at least buy the boost kit later and have the normal power supply as a backup. The CSL Elite and Elite +/1.1 had at least small differences. The Elite +/1.1 for example, had the motor and other components from the CSW 2.5 installed and that at a small additional cost of "only" 80€. And with the DD Pro and CSL DD there is no difference at all. And you want 120€ more for that? If it was 50€ for the Playstation license it would be ok but 120€??? " Long live Google Translator"

Right, so we're supposed to lug the pc or the drive all over the house. Not happening. My pc is nowhere near my PS5 and my connections are wired into wall ports. So it all hopefully works because it will be here tomorrow.
There is no performance difference between native and compatibility mode. It is up to the game developer to provide an update if they wish to support the native mode of the GT DD Pro Wheel Base. Which issue are you referring to?
Hi, your description sounds like potentially normal force feedback. The type of feedback cues that come through the wheel during rear slip/traction loss varies a lot depending on the situation. Each racing game feels a bit different. It also varies by car, surface condition, what assists you're using, etc.

Save Your Money Folks, The Bearings Give Out After A Few Weeks And Leaves You With a Sloppy Output Shaft. Never A Good Feeling. These Aren't Built Tough Enough For Drifting.

Stop lying and being over-dramatic please. I do not see any proof that the bearings give out. If there is such an hw issue, support will take care and then you will have the proof that bearings will NOT give out after weeks...or years.

Got it about 4-6 weeks earlier than expected.
Tonight I mount it, and finally experience DD for the first time.
Now to get my hands on VR.

"Just compatible with Playstation" which requires a Sony (and Polyphony) license + hardware.

I’ve noticed while racing going into turns it loads up but as I apply gas the wheel starts to shake and when the back end steps out it shakes

I ordered a GT Omega Prime to use with the DD Pro. My current GT Omega Pro would be flexing too much with a DD wheel.
