I'm terrible at GT7, I'm down on 8 seconds on the first lap here. And the time trials, I cannot even get the Corvette to get within the bronze medal. I spend the most laps watching my ghost getting away further and further.
Dunno if anyone has mentioned this. Sounds counterintuitive but I recommend doing the full lap of circuit experience first. Don't quit if u mess up just keep going. That way you're getting practice of every section each go. Once you've nailed the full lap, go back and do the individual sections probably first try. Works a treat for me. Edit: also on the weekly time trials, all good watching the fast guys but if you're way off, download a more achievable ghost time and build up. (No point trying to follow someone you can't keep up with) GG
Something to also note for the circuit experience is to not run through them and getting gold on the first attempts. Instead run each at bronze then silver and gold that way you recieve payouts for each sector for each respective completion time.
Anyone who has attempted or completed the Laguna Seca Viper circuit experience....deserves a beer after doing that one because it was absolutely horrible
I like the wtc 800 at SPA, improves my tire and fuel usage, weather change and also endurance 1.25 mil (that's with the clean race bonus) coins in an hour ain't the greatest but ain't the worst either
Hi Rory, good tips. Idea for your next video. Get out the seat, get on the sofa, set these times with a controller cause i dont think is possible, just not precise enough. How much time does a controller cost you.
Rory, so I do this but have only managed Bronze (got a silver once). Hate the tracks where you have collisions = cancelled lap and you are in a heavy car with terrible tyres. Noticed this happening more and more, usually try 2 or 3 laps but if I can’t register a time then I give up and go back to grinding on Spa 800pp range. 1.5mill per hour!
I enjoy your videos. I haven't moved as yet to the big game I am still playing the off line stuff improving my track skills and speed. again mate thankyou for your assistance.
I have never been able to get gold in TT ever! Quickest way to make a lot of money fast is 700PP 30min Le Man, 900PP 10 lap LeMan, and 800PP 15 lap Sardegna races. Each take about 30min and with clean race bonus you get around 3 mil for 1hr 30min of racing. You don''t have to wait days for reward like TT.
The quickest way to make a lot of money is at Daytona custom race, 213,000 credits in 6 minutes for a 10 lap race. That's 1 million credits every 30 minutes.
@@FinalGirlHorror You can get over 1 million credits in or under 30 minutes, I know it can be boring but if you listen to music it is not. Another one you can AFK and pickup 639,000 credits in just over 25 minutes for a 30 lap race, while you watch TV or do things around the house. Just come back to the Playstation every 25 minutes and do it all again.
@@CharlieBravoHotel real GT7 enjoyers know the power of the AFK wallride. With a 24 lap custom race on Daytona Tri-Oval and the right tune in the swapped Honda Beat, 1.5M/hr is perfectly attainable. I don't think I'd ever complete the car collection trying to grind credits manually.
Yeah, this isn't for casual racers, it's for skilled racers. I remember looking up "easy money" videos and everyone says 'time trials', I went tried them and realized this is not going to be a great way for people like me to make money lol
Similarly, the rest of the GranTurismo series is about money. There are hidden codings to get credits. Does it make sense? You have to decide for yourself. It's an old topic. And easy.

But the circuit experiences you only get a once off payment, ok it may help you to credits but it is still not enough for these players that may play the game maybe one or two hours a day, or less than what I just said.

I've already got all gold on all the challenges, the only way I can make easy money is the online time challenges, kinda wished there was way more challenges, kinda like in gt4 there was do many on that game
The problem with the online trial is not everyone can be in the top 10%. Bronze is easy for me (usually done on the first lap), silver is a bit more difficult but not impossible if I put in 20 to laps. Gold I only ever had one. I am not getting any faster as I get older. Infact I went from top 2 to 3% in my mid 20s to 5 to 7% in my late 30s. I am as "gud" as I'm gonna get and only getting slower as I get older. Its better to just do the 700 le mann as its fairly easy.

Brilliant knowledge sharing. Howabout an upload on the pro's & con's of each sneering wheel available & compatible with Gt7. Price, setup, cost & overalk rating. Daytona over 1 million in 30 minutes, if you are after quick credits. All you need is all Gold at Daytona circuit experience track, and to be at Level 50. And there is no other best way for getting credits in GT7.
You don't actually need a lot of money to complete the game (by that I mean that joke of a single campaign presented as a number of Café Menus). On the other hand if you want to collect all the cars then TT, missions and CE are going to give you just a FRACTION of what's needed to buy all of them. ~500M credits needed for all the cars, not to mention the amount of time you have to wait to cycle through all of them in the LCD. Getting the last cars behind invites can literally take YEARS of waiting for a particular invite to drop off the daily ticket. And my friends, there's only one way to get there: grind, grind and grind some more until you're sick of the same races over and over again. And after that some more grinding. Took me ~3 months of daily Sardegna grinding to buy all the available cars. Still waiting for a couple of invites though. GT7 economy is a joke.
I must be doing something wrong, everytime i watch someones replay its in dynamic view and not behind the car, pressing any of the buttons doesn't change anything!
You should do a video on completing the Circuit Experience at Circuit de Sainte-Croix - C. About 60% done with all Circuit Experiences using controller and it's the first one I've came across where I can't get gold on the 1 Lap Attack lol
Update: I got it! 2:57.495 after the update and needed a 2:58.200. I put the rear brake balance to 5 and TC to 3, and turned the racing line on. Then just kept practicing the ending so I didn’t mess up at the end of the lap. Took hours!
Once i realised i would need alot of money for the platinum trophy, i did alot of circuit experiences with aim for gold, weekly races for easy money and ofc my zen thing which is Le Mans 30 minutes. Another cool video rory, ive been exploring exactly this especially on the weeks when the dailies arent too great....keep up the fantastic content mate
I miss the old gt2 days when you can repeatedly race Red Rock valley in the GT allstars race over and over to win 50k for 1st and win a TVR speed 12 and can sell it for 500k with no problems, or worried about a wifi connection or spending your real cash for car packs 😢
Good work Rory, very informative and even on your live streams you're a good help. Cheers for putting in all the effort to help us newbies to the game
Brilliant and informative vid. Well in lad!
That was a good one Rory. Thanks for the tips.
Getting gold is almost impossible without a wheel and a lot of skill, no matter how many laps you do it's not how smart you are but how skilful you are.
There are World Finalists who use controllers and in my view skill = talent x effort so gold is very achievable!
I use a controller and I have little issues with getting gold. Sure it may take some time to get there but it’s doable for sure. A+ S dr and it took me just under a month to go from the default dr in gt7 to a+
@@BenJeenes Well your a lot better than me, I can get the bronze easily enough but no way can I get the gold.
@@EERIEISSSS Yes Rory skill/talent which I lack but still love playing this game.
@@johnweston1394I have a wheel and for a while there was a time when I could only get bronze. It’s really a matter of paying attention to the demonstration and copying the lines / breaking points / gears etc
Not to tell you how to do your job but they have seen a 2500% increase in people buying PSVR2 headsets. I would make a video on GT7 as that is literally the only reason I just ordered a headset.
Will get hella views!
Welcome to heaven mate, psvr2 + cockpit with gt7 is absolutely mind blowing. I had a 12 year hiatus from gaming, bought a ps5 and gt7 (because you can't have a playstation and not have the latest gt). I played it a bit but mostly played other stuff. On a whim I got myself the psvr2 and pit and have been racing daily since I got it. I've never had this much fun playing a game in all my 41 years. I'm on the precipice of a very expensive rabbit hole lol
@@VeritasSimRacing Nice! it turns up in the next hour. Have the cockpit ready and GT7 waiting to go. Pumped! will let you know how i get on. I have 400 hours into GT7 already with a flat screen!
@JacK-yr8ri the amazement I had entering turn two on mount panorama, as I flew up behind the car in front of me was next level. I was giggling like a little kid, my heart was racing and It was almost like i was out of breath as I crossed that line... I hope your first experience is just as awesome
I only play this game because of the VR and wheel experience. It's incredible. I enjoy both the single player and sport mode.
@@VeritasSimRacing just got it all set up and done a load of laps in different cars. Why didn’t I buy this sooner! Bloody awesome. First track was Nurburgring at sun set. Crazy how quick you adjust to it, just feels right
I'm terrible at GT7, I'm down on 8 seconds on the first lap here.
This is poor advice lol. It's broken down into sectors for a reason.....
This replay thing is mental! Thanks for the info this will help tremendously!
Sardegna 800 👍
I did all of the Circuit experiences! For me, most of them take 10 minutes. Some are hard, some are easy. Bought 4 20 mil cars after that 😂
Something to also note for the circuit experience is to not run through them and getting gold on the first attempts. Instead run each at bronze then silver and gold that way you recieve payouts for each sector for each respective completion time.
If you gold them all the 1st time, as well as the "all gold" reward, you also get the "all bronze" reward.
I had no idea! thanks for this, Rory!
Dropped ~$1M on my drag car build, my mindset is: however much money I spend on a car, I need to earn with that car within a certain amount of time.
Thanks for the vid Rory. You nailed it
Thank you Rory this video helped me alot for getting money easy in gran turismo 7!
Great video like always, keep up the great work.
Excellent video. Covers all bases really 👍🏾
The weekly events are good for money too and they often gift quite good cars via the gift tickets also 👍🏽
I have never been able to get gold in TT ever!
@@CharlieBravoHotel and zero fun, Daytona is so boring, I'll pass.
Please elaborate boss. Le man map is making me mad @@CharlieBravoHotel
Did circuit experience in 2 days (all gold) and since then online trials. Did everything you have said :)
I try to space out my circuit experience because you can only do each one once. Other than grinding, the weekly challenges are the best.
And easy.
I usually just do races I would never do & Be dedicated & proud of the outcome. A lot of the money goes into tuning my already owned cars tho lol too that perfect tune.
How the heck did you have that “play replay” button at 1:45 ? I only have “load ghost”
When you’re in the first menu after selecting the race you want to do, hit “Select from garage” and at the right will be the ranking. In this menu you can watch recordings. Not sure why it’s absolutely buried but it is
@@MrDance4meh Thanks! Figured that out after rewatching the video. You learn something new every day.
Trying to finish off some circuit experiences, i think its much harder after the physics update. Catalunya is doin my head in!
Thank you for making this video, nobody ever talks about the circuit experiences or the time trials.
They are to busy running the same races over and over and crying about not have more repetitive money races even tho Kaz himself told them to get F’ed way back in the first year of the game.
But the circuit experiences you only get a once off payment, ok it may help you to credits but it is still not enough for these players that may play the game maybe one or two hours a day, or less than what I just said.
@@CharlieBravoHotelif you only play 1-2 hours a day then you’re probably not going to do all the circuit experiences that quickly
Good stuff man didn't know you could see there recording
3:28 are there no track limit penalty's everywhere in each corner?
My method was just finish the cafe menu book, and after u finished, sold all your cars. I made around 700 mil ++ lol
If you sold all your cars and made 700 mil this mean you are telling a lie, because the credit limit is 100 million.
@@CharlieBravoHotel what? No I literally have 250-300 mill left in my account after I bought all those supercars, I can send you some proof tho, or is the Asian version of the game is different than others? Idk
And also the car prices can go as high as 300 mill, so idk
Good one you for helping out, giving back. Bravo
Sorry to have a silly question becuase I haven't bought this game. If I want to play the weekly event and to sea the world's record, do I need to pay PSN? Thanks!
How do you watch leaderboard replay? It only allows me to load the ghost
The same for me…
3:30 how is that not a track limits violation ? I thought if you were completely over the line, then that was it.
What traction control setting did you use in the wet Rory?
Hello,i play controller but have a G29 steering wheel from logitech, now what me confuses is the mfd settings, now i am tryin the catalunya rally cross layout in time trials but i am strugglin with the
settings on controller, what about traction control on a track like catalunya rally cross layout,do u have to change it while playing? Also steering sensitivity,i set a record using ss on 2 and the same with ss on 10???thx and keep up the good work man...🙏🙏🙏
Your better off using a wheel for catalunya rally cross layout, and with no traction control, and use Manual if you can.
Great video for the newbie's 👍
Me watching this video when I already reached a 100M Credits with the Honda S660 by doing Daytona in custom race with low gearbox Tomahawks. Basically driving in circles for 5000+km while watching youtube 😅
I also do the time trials but sardegna, le mans, and spa is still my daily grind for money.
Hey! Love the content. I have definitely seen my skills improve after watching your videos. Any chance you have recommendations for other racers to follow?
thanks for the video.... I recently started doing the Dirt champions races. they give 72k for 4 min race, so you get quickly get some cash...
Honda beat engine swapped on daytona tri circle AFK. Makes money for me while I play with the kids lol
Do I need to invest in a wheel? I do okay with controller. Just didn’t know if it’s worth the investment
Sorry but, are those challenge free ? Or do you need to pay a fee to get there ?
Circuit experiences are easy on controller, the demo ghost car helped me to achieve 100%
Brilliant knowledge sharing.
Howabout an upload on the pro's & con's of each sneering wheel available & compatible with Gt7.
Price, setup, cost & overalk rating.
I myself im just getting into the whole steering wheel racing scene with the G29 (not including the gear stick) with a Diwangus racing stand.
I know the steering wheels can command serious money so any advice would be very valuable.
Cheers & great upload.
3:30 if I was to do what he’s doing I’d get a invalid lap 🤔
Yeppp
We all do. It’s aggravating.
Exactly the same. He had all 4 wheels over over white line on every corner. How come he didn't get penalties
Question for those who dont have PS+, Can you do the online time trials without PS Plus or do you need it?
You don't need PS+ to do the online Time Trials.
How did he put the replay into chase cam view?
I think the best way is the 1 hour at spa to get 1.5m. Wish they had the same type of event at more circuits like Le Mans.
Daytona over 1 million in 30 minutes, if you are after quick credits. All you need is all Gold at Daytona circuit experience track, and to be at Level 50. And there is no other best way for getting credits in GT7.
Bro it's like the joystick doesn't do anything I could even get gold in license for Beginners yet I've been playing since gran turismo 4
I play once or twice each 2-3 months and never get tired of Spa anyways... that 1 hour race is enough.
0:27 (sad life for non ps plus users)
I have not got PS Plus, and I can do the online Time Trials.
Cant you only do them once? If you get gold i mean
Maintenance started went into offline mode, I was on last lap grinding sardegna finished the race. Got 0 credits 😢😢
I would recommend to do the track first few times and then check the replay, as biginner
Don't have enaugh skill to gold or silver lap attacks (because of my AT and general lack of knowledge, but shifting towards MT now so hopefully soon ill be able to) Edit: Had no clue you could load up reply of top racers. That would be very handy.
U gotta try this.
Tokyo expressway wtc600 (with wallride)
825k under 25 mins
Car: Bugatti veyron (invitation), Corvette c6 zr1 (Alternative)
ill write the tune below
Another very good car to use is the Mazda Roadster S (ND) '15 with engine swap at 599PP, race time in well under 24 minutes WTC 600.
Is it cheaper to buy gt7 credits or pay for ps+
Definitely gonna try the replay, notes method 📝
Are you using tc?
I think that wet red bull time trail took me about 40 laps to get gold 😂
Love this guy. So genuine and moral.
Think this is probably sarcastic, but hearted all the same 😂
I think he means it, there is a running community Joke about a certain bald sim racer who neglects his kids.
You are often upheld as the model GT player while he is painted as a sneakier kimi.
Classic good and evil dichotomy
Atleast Gt7 wouldn’t give you any choices but to spend money for credits when you can do these races as many times you like
How we can make real money by playing gt7?and it's how much for intermediate player per day?
I do miss you doing these types of videos, I think that’s how I found you in the first place.🤔🤙
question 🙋♂️ if only less then 1% complete platinum, how many people complete GT7 dashboard??? 🤔
you’re game looks so much more colourful than mine even though my saturation is maxed out
in the Red Bull Ring, the driver Cut way in every corner, can this considered a glitch?
That Vw beetle is a rocket ship 🚀 on the rails
