KTM 890 Adventure - Higher Fender, Better Tires, and More Dust

Just a quick update on how things are going with my new KTM 890 Adventure. I threw a high fender on that I'm really digging, and swapped out the very street-oriented stock tires for some 40/60 Bridgestone A
The part number for the orange "R" model front fender is: 63508910000EB
The four bolts you'll need are part number: 0025060166

... I come from dirt (Moto-X, Hare Scrambles, Enduros, GNCC) so I like the high fender. I also like that you removed the large saddle bags. Like you said, maybe great for a long trip but not for getting it dirty. It looks great dust covered!
Very recently my brother in Montana bought a 2023 890 Adventure base model. He loves it so far.
If I were to get another bike, I am torn between the CRF 300 Rally and the 890.

Does the high fender help with sand being thrown in your face and all in the seat? My 890 S with stock low fender sprays sand up in front of the bike and it rains down all over me.

I don’t ride in a lot of sand, but I kind of doubt the high fender would make much of a difference. I could be wrong though 🤷‍♂️

They're stock. This is a 2022 model. The 2023 model has different mirrors (the same ones that are on the R model, I believe)
