- Just a couple of months ago we did a sponsored build with a brand new case from Endorfy, The ARX 700 was Endorfy’s first case to be designed and built entirely in-house, it came with mesh, five 140mm fans and a budget price tag. Well, Today I'm looking at the new Endorfy ARX 500 which has lots of the same features as the ARX 700, it comes in two different versions with or without RGB and it's more compact and cheaper. But is it as good? Let's find out.

I am happy to hear there is an RGB and a non-RGB version for all their cases. Very good choice!
another cracking bit of work james, I love your timelapse stuff, really chill - good with a cup of coffee.
this is just the case i was lookng for. I LOVE having a 140mm rear exhaust. I'm a noise freak and like 140mm over 120mm
Yeah they paid a lot of attention to small details. Not many companies do now
They have made it quite easy to break down without needing any tools.
Great design for a decent price. The cut out behind the motherboard is perfect, as won’t interfere with some backplates like the O11 Evo would with some Intel 1700 series motherboards and the Arctic AIO. The steel panel at the back is also a positive point as many manufacturers now opting for the useless TG panel, as if anyone would like to see cables zip tied.
Just simple proper build. Thanks
james reviews are the best, so much work into them - never slams stuff around or looks bored either.
Sometimes leo seems one step from reaching for a hammer and smashing stuff up

He never looks too happy with things.
Just angry.
As always James great job bro!!!
Thanks! 👍
Would be better with a no glass variant, they are far too rare these days and considering this is the non rgb version it makes even more sense.
That really is a very good case in all the key areas.
great build as always james - looks like a good case to build into as well. no issues I could see for you during. that bit.
Nope, all was good with this build.
It does look plain so to speak, but at the nd of the day its a box to put the parts in and its really good for the price.
A removable dust filter on the floor of the case is a brilliant idea cause it always sucks up dust from the carpet.
Nice one 👍
Thanks!
Like the way they have made all of the front mesh panels removable. Just run them under a tap and there are good as new.
Awesome video! I just ordered this case for myself. How does one change the RGB settings for the fans? I see it comes with 4 RGB fans. Appreciate the help!
Hello, I saw that you can repurpose the reset button to change the color on the argb version. Just wondering: can you hook up another Stratus 140 argb fan on top, which then changes the color as well or is that not possible?
Looks very nice, and a nice build to boot! Thanks.
One question, why do you quote prices in Euros, I thought you were a UK Outfit?
Ciao.
Because it's only available in Europe, unfortunately.
Hello can you do some reviews on Micro-Atx Case for people with not lot of room.
heck of a case, very good pricing too. shame I cant find it to buy anywhere ! 💩
the Corsair Dominator sticks look really cool, pricey tho
Lovely review and timely as I happen to be looking for a case, but what are the differences between this and the 700? Why would I choose one over the other? And from whom do I buy it in the UK and how much will it cost (I see the Euro price) ?
The main difference is the depth of the case front to rear. The 500 is shorter so custom water cooling will be difficult. Bit less space for graphics cards too.
Difficult to get hold of Endorfy products in the UK still. If we are lucky they might pop up on Amazon UK but price could be inflated.
700 and 500 mostly size difference . In Poland arx 500 +/- 450pln , rgb version 520pln . Arx 700 +/- 520pln and 560pln for rgb variant . So around 90-110 GBP , previous SilentiumPC [ now rebranded to Endorfy] products were availible on overclockers co uk and amazon .
Does what it says on the tin. I'd even forgive it not coming in white. 😃
Ich habe eine Nabe mit Lichtern in 5v angeschlossen, aber sie leuchten nicht auf, was zu tun ist?
well that came out of the blue - have you guys a list of places to actually buy the cases?
Unfortunately not on the UK. Endorfy gear is difficult to get here. Amazon hopefully if we are lucky but price might be inflated.
Release date for the UK?
Love the Endorfy name just reminds me of Monkey Island Endorse flowers.
😂
which one would u buy lianli lancool 216 or endorfy arx 700 argb
Tough choice, both are good cases. I'd probably go for the Lancool 216 as it's difficult to get hold of Endorfy cases in the UK at MSRP.
I hope this comes to United States.
Does that GPU really use the 12vhpwr plug off of one pcie plug? Why?
No it's it's a 12VHPWR to 2 x PCIe connectors adaptor, I just hid it well. 👍
Find it very frustrating that cases dont have 3.5 inch hard drive bays anymore.
Maybe because it's a new case with few units, the asking price in my country it's 155 Euros plus.
You have to look at all PC gear with YOUR market in mind. This is unassuming & brilliant at 100 - 120 Euros; not so much at 155.
It's sad this can't compete with old bricks like CoolerMaster HAF X, Azza Hurrican 2000, and Xigmatek Elysium.
Looks to compete very well based on James video
It's a shame the positioning of the power cable socketbon the GPU means you had to cover over the GeForce branding.
Yeah it annoys me also that. It happens with a lot of cards, only way to avoid it is run the cables over the top but that doesn't look good either.
2nd!
Torrent likely cools better
Possibly but it's also quite a bit more expensive.
@@KitGuruJames Torrent also have issue of using rare fan size which may or may not be available in few years time, while 140mm are widely available and can be replaced at the moment notice.
How is this better than the torrent I fail to see it.
Same. They compared it to nothing. I don’t understand this youtube channel anymore
Torrent Compact costs 50% more.
Yep it’s a different class due to 50% higher cost
get c
350mm for a GPU is not enough these days
It's enough for this 4070 Ti and the Gigabyte 7900 XT gaming OC. Remember this is a compact case, buy the ARX 700 if you need more graphics card space. 👍
a lot of 4090 are below 350
These cases are going backwards in terms of storage provision unless you want to spend tens of thousands on SSD.
Yep, there's less space for 3.5" drives in most cases these days, 2.5" SSD and M.2 are becoming cheaper though.
nvme is litterly cheaper then ssd where i live
corsair, bequiet, phanteks, very good quality
endorfy, not very good quality
Not true
