Just finished a build in one. What he said. Took me 90 minutes to finish the build. The pre-wired fans to the hub is a big time saver as we all know. At $150.00 to $160.00 this case cannot be beat for value. 4x120 and 2x140 fans and a rgb/fan controller.
It is clever, but you need to remember that the King 95 Pro ships in a format where those REVERSE bladed 140mm fans are intakes when mounted on the side. If you swing the panel forward and install the mesh, those fans will be *exhaust* fans unless you take them off the bracket and reverse their orientation to flip them over (which messes up the aesthetic of the RGB and Montech badge.) The solution is to buy 2 normal 140mm ARGB fans from Montech and install those on the swing out bracket, moving the reverse bladed 140 mm fans a little bit back of where they are installed by default on the swing bracket, moving them to the tray bracket and keeping their default orientation so you can continue to use them as side intakes. Problem: the normal Montech 140mm ARGB case fans are now sold out *almost everywhere*.
@@roberttrifts2737 I have this case. I actually bought 2 120 RGB fans in case I wanted to use the mesh panel someday. They were 10 bucks each so what the hell.
Worth mentioning that if you want to use the front mesh cover with intake fans, you either need to flip the fans since they are reversed, or purchase the Montech "AX" RGB fans which are standard air flow.

So you need to switch the fans anyway on the side if you swing them to the front? If they are pulling air in from the side, they will now be pushing air out the front? How exactly do they come mounted from the factory?
This was a great review. The case provides outstanding value at its price point and I have little doubt that the King 95 Pro is going to dominate in 2024. When you offer so many features for so little? That's all WIN.
Are the side panel fans normal or reverse blades? Because if the side fans are intake and they get swapped to the front panel configuration they would (theoretically) have to be flipped around. I do love the case really. Very fancy but affordable compared to the bigger brands

With that side panel being one enormous vent / dust filter combination whats the best way to clean it? Could you just run the entire thing under a tap and let it dry out? Really dont like using compressed air as it tends to make the dust airborne again unless you can do it outside (which is impossible in the winter)
Take it off and blow it outside with compressed air, hoover it. You could wash it with water too but you would need to be sure it's completely dry before refitting it obviously.

Is there a reason why most builds I see in this case aren't using a 4090. I want to use this case but if its bad combo with my 4090 I would skip this case.
this is one hell of a case specially thx to the value, my personal thoughts is that this beats the lian li because of the value
Not the 216 though.
i bought this case and didn't checked the fitment of Motherboard and GPU. Does a 4090 fits? if not i gotta send it back
Is this case compatible with 4070 ti graphic card?
Can you fit three 120 mm fans where the two 140 mm are
wait, since the 2 140 fans on the sides are reverse fans doesnt that mean that if you swing that to the front it will be an exhaust?
Yes but if you flip the fans over, or mount to the other side of the bracket they become intake again. In fact if you put them at the other side of the bracket they will be intake and you see their good side from inside the system. 👍
@@KitGuruJames okay you do have to flip how the fans are placed.thank you..was confused cause on the shots where the glass panel was replaced by the screen one it looked like you just placed the fan panel to the front and it somehow changed to intake :D thanks for the review was waiting for this case
@@WickdSeek it's also worth mentioning that you can buy the fans separately so you could have front and side intake fans if you want.
@@KitGuruJames yes that I understand :D
Good info.
With that side panel being one enormous vent / dust filter combination whats the best way to clean it? Could you just run the entire thing under a tap and let it dry out? Really dont like using compressed air as it tends to make the dust airborne again unless you can do it outside (which is impossible in the winter)
Take it off and hoover it? That's what I've always done with my filters on my O11D anyways
Take it off and blow it outside with compressed air, hoover it. You could wash it with water too but you would need to be sure it's completely dry before refitting it obviously.
@@KitGuruJames I've tried the washing it in the shower and letting it dry on the shower tray method for a couple of my dust filters. They arent that big but it stop it from becoming airborne again.
I was gonna go for a Hyte case, but I guess it's a good thing I didn't jump the gun on that one yet. Got me a 3090 last month, and for some reason I only found out about the ridiculously hot memory after I bought it (even though I research the sh*t out of these kinds of buys), so I need a better ventilated case. This'll do, Oh yeah yeah.
I would choose this over the Y60 for sure. GPU temps are not great in the Y60 on bigger cards.
@@KitGuruJames thanks! I just ordered one. Also got a not so goodlooking backplate cooler for the card, since that’s where the memory is at. Now all I want to do is fix the cooling pads in the gpu but I have to research which pads and pastes to get for it. Then I should be set for quite some time. I have never opened up a gpu before though, so that might get interesting.
Dual power supply installation? Is that a thing now?
What is used to control the argb lighting settings?
Think they should laser cut a few air holes in that glass side of the case although I imagine that would considerably raise the cost of materials.
And likely dust ingress too. Hard to put filters over those.
Looks great. Very pretty chase.
Only problem with a case like this where everything is on show is that you have to be really adept at cable management to build a good looking system.
Makes you try harder it’s actually not really that difficult if you put your mind to it. But I agree if you are off the mindset to just throw things into a case it’s probably not ideal !
There's a whole space behind the motherboard tray to hide all your cables
Honestly, I'm more impressed with Montech's "budget" offerings. Dual chamber cases? As Sir Sydney Camm would say you can't see Lian Li's arse for dust.
I like this one. Apart from some panel alignment issues it’s from a company who clearly know the market.
Bro have more ads then youtube itself
i miss old man leo like you wouldn't believe :(
Is it weird I have literally waiting on this case to drop?
Not at all. 😆
@@KitGuruJames I have never felt so infatuated with an object before so lovely hope to get it one day when I can afford to buy a pc
@@ronniervg3952
Just buy it and keep it on your desk so you can admire it🙂
So $169 for this with RGB included have to say that is a really good price for a high end case.
Curve glass is quite expensive specially if its tempered. I've own several curved aquarium and they are more expensive per gallon than common glass.
Itks look like Jonsbo TK-2 2.0
I don’t like the fact that the fans are squircle, i then need to change the aio fans as well, which isn’t as good for a radiator as compared to the stock aio fans,
Do the bottom airflow holes line up with the radiator holes ?? Or how is the radiator mounted in the bottom ?
The bottom fan screw holes line up with the mounting holes in a 360mm radiator.
@@KitGuruJames aren't those threaded?
@@JJ-gk5tn yes you would have to sacrifice the threads to fit a radiator.
@@KitGuruJames would it be possible to use the airflow holes instead?
Do the holes line up ?
@@JJ-gk5tn I'm not sure. I would drill out the threads, this would be easy and you can use the drilled out holes to mount fans from under the floor.
