- We have reviewed several O11 cases previously but just when you thought Lian Li couldn’t possibly do any more with its O11 case series, the company goes and launches another variant. This time it's not an O11D but an O11 V for Vision. The O11 Vision offers most of the features of the O11D but with three sides of tempered glass for the ultimate system showcase, but can it match the hardware support and great cooling that we have come to expect from the O11 series? As someone whose PC is in an original O11 Dynamic, this case looks like such an upgrade. But what really strikes me are the fans. That RGB just looks gorgeous. I'd totally jump at nine of them instantly if I could control their displays in Linux.
The RGB effects on all UNIFANS are good. These TL fans are very cool of you like RGB.

SO many good cases lately, but not many have had good build quality - right? You are right james, they are like the rolls royce of PC case design, they dont skimp on the metals or the structural design aspect.
This is their best case to date.

The Performance TLs are soo good they are destroying the GPU temps while still looking better than a majority of fans out there. Still, I think Ill wait to see if we get full TL-INFs as I bet they can make them more efficient than the LCDs while looking just that much better than the TLs.
What I can't seem to find anywhere online is how these thermals compare with the 011 Dynamic Evo (or even the RGB for that matter). Is the thermal hit worth it for the incredible aesthetics? I could handle maybe up to 6-7 degrees difference, but as you start to get beyond that, no good. I also plan on running 7800X3D and a 7900XTX, but any configuration should give us a rough idea.

Yeah the temps impressed me. Clearly Alphacool didn't design this.

The performance is good. I was shocked
yeah its great, the CPUs running warm because the Reverse LCDs are slightly below average when it comes to performance, but that still way far off from throttling. On the other hand, look at that ginormous GPU casually running under load at body temperature in an airflow restricted case, that's pretty neat.
@@xXEPIKgamerXxI'm not running the LCDs, but I am running a 240 AIO in the rear with all other fans as intake and my stress test was almost identical except my GPU (7900 xt Hellhound) was a couple degrees warmer. My CPU (5800x3d) was nearly identical. Thermals in the Vision were very surprising as I expected it to create higher temps than I was running in my older modded Meshify C (removed front plastic braces and foam filter to run fans outside the case, but behind the mesh). Running in a black case, all that open space above the MB isn't nearly apparent as it is in the white case. Overall, super impressed with the Vision.
I think I prefer the Montech case with the curved glass you reviewed recently. Thanks for the review.

I couldn't choose between evo rgb and vision. I build mid-entry level systems. What would be your choice between these two cases for long use?
I have the black one but i am still stuck with the cooling... i have a 7800X3D and is notorious a "hot nead"... i am searching a 360mm AIO for mount them vertically without risk of having bubbles in the pump... anyone have a good idea? Thanks for any help.

good afternoon. Will it be possible to connect Lian li Tl led 120 3pcs + lian li infinity 120 7pcs , will you need to use two controllers ? and will it be possible to synchronize them?
Thanks for the review! I know you said the video car dyou put in there doesn't suffer from sag, but there is visible sag on the card in the finished product. I'd still put some sort of support under it.
I cant remember the exact words but I meant it doesn't suffer badly with sag like some cards do. If it was a permanently built system I might have used the support.
I love that, I almost dropped coin on the montech, but ill save up a bit more for this one in new year. LIAN LI knock it out of the park.

The vision is actually cheaper than the montech king 95. BUT you get no fans.
Man I really need to see this build but gpu vertical, want to copy but wondering if I can show gpu off sideways and fit all fans.

Best case I have seen, I thought they might have something up their sleeve to answer companies like Montech and HYTE, who have released some great cases lately. but when it comes to quality, Lian Li at the best - they just needed to get one of those IPS screens from Hyte. Wonder if someone could make it fit on this case in some way
You could buy a touchscreen specifically sized to the front or top panel for between $200 and $350 depending on resolution.
Just good to see so many different options, so there is something for everyone, personally love the curved design on the Montech king 95 pro, and the value you get out of it, for a fish tank case🙂
I would have gladly paid more to have rgb on the fan blades as well as have lcd

The L-Connect controller comes with the 3 packs.

@MrBobbi93 the for black cases, the H9 Flow/Elite has captured my heart personally. But if you are feeling spicy, the new Y70 Touch is absolutely fucking stunning with the 4K touch screen built in, but its $350 for the case vs the $150 for the H9 flow and $250 for the elite. The elite has a glass top whereas the flow has a mesh top, i prefer the mesh top for better airflow and Temps

I noticed the case doesn't include a top IO panel or fan grill or is that still a separate purchase? Not including both these is a deal breaker for the asking price.
There are no accessories included as you say.
Plus, this case makes for good emergency housing in a pinch.
James, do you think you could bring it up with Lian Li to release a black or gray version of the case with clear tempered glass as opposed to the heavily tinted on the current black model?
Good question. I'm sure they will be reading these comments but it is something I will ask them about.
@@KitGuruJamesCool, thanks James. Case manufacturers seem to value Kit guru's input at least as much as I do so with you asking, I feel like we have a shot. Another option would be white case with black accents. As long as there exists a version with black silkscreen on clear tempered glass, I am happy. I'm tired of having to buy the white version of cases, remove the white silkscreen, and repaint the glass and the case just to have clear TG.
@@TheJjjoj we reached out to Lian Li about these different options. Apparently, they tried grey with the EVO, it wasn't a big hit but they will consider a black version with clear TG in future.

Yes, it would physically fit but I'm not sure if the cables would interfere with the side panel.
The AIO sleeve is fraying closer to the radiator. Mine's doing the same. What's the best fix?
Yes I had noticed this too. I'll get in touch with Lian Li to see if there is a solution.

Can it not take 420mm rads ?
That's absolutely gorgeous! My only qualm is that the front USB 3 ports have white tongues. I normally associate a white tongue with USB 1 and 2 whereas USB 3 normally has a blue tongue. A small price to pay for beauty.
Your presentation throughout the video is meticulous.
Those fans with displays are very nice indeed; given the price they better be! One question: are those displays individually addressable or do they all have to have the same display. Having one with the CPU temperature, one with the GPU temperature, and one with the water temperature would be useful.
If you have time to return to this case, how about putting a distro plate on the rear 120 / 240mm space to serve the CPU & GPU and feeding the tubes to the side radiator around the back? Reverse the radiator's inputs so they're on the back. Perhaps you could put a reservoir and pump around the back too? Maybe put some sleeving or trunking around the GPU power cable while you're at it. This would give you a super-clean build, hiding most of the plumbing.
What you display on the fan LCD screens can be individually selected or synchronised.
A rear mounted 240mm distro would be a good idea in this case.

A beautiful computer case, but there is not enough option with an upper fans arrangement (my personal opinion)

Weird that it performs better when the warm air form the radiator is being blown into the case, and only 1 exhaust fan at the back is blowing the hot air out of the case. Must be some science behind it, would love to understand how that works. I know positive pressure inside the case is the way to go, to keep the dust out.
That's with two rear exhaust fans. Don't forget the three bottom fans are cool air intakes.

wtf u have the same parts i chose wtf apart from i got a hyte y70 white case. im looking at getting the lian li 360 aio but i see it has v1 fans and not v2.

This looks nice, yes. But i dont like that i cant mount any fans on the top panel. For that reason, i would say the previous version is still better. I have 16 fans plus the small cpu fan 17 fans in my case. Temps hover around 30 to 34 degrees celsius for both cpu & gpu.
This style of cases certainly seem popular right now. this one looks the best I have seen. Lian Li stepping up to put the other brands back in their place.......
Yea my system still is in an original O11 Dynamic and I'm seriously considering replacing that with this now. The original looks great but it has so much black around the glass and that silver at the front. I'd prefer it all white. Plus I think I like the clear glass better as well.
This style has been popular for about 4-5 years now, Out of every 10 builds 8 builds use a similar case.

Disagree. That Phantex NV line can't be beat, hands down. That is from someone that has four different 011 cases. My next case will be the NV9 to replace my Enthoo Lux 2 racing sim PC case with dual GPUs
I don’t understand the use case of mounting radiators at the case bottom as the pump will always be the higher point, which isn’t good for the aio
True with an AIO, but not true with custom cooling.

I still prefer the montech king
I don't like it, this front and top glass case design really annoy me, because I'm so used to front intake and top exhaust fan setup. I don't even use the side exhaust on my Lian-Li Air Mini. Just front, top, back and bottom.
Aquarium cases, however great, recently started to feel like damn teen idol you see everywhere - it's just too much of it. It was about 011 for years and suddenly so many other manufacturers started spamming with their interpretations. It got to the point when having computer in such case became like having e.g. haircut everybody has. Some find such thing awesome, some completely opposite...
Just do what I do, dont pay too much attention to what people say and just buy what you like yourself.

It's a nice case, but unable to support 420mm rads... no go for me. I opted for Fractal Torrent instead

only fail on this case are the two big holes when using low mounted mainboard bracket. dont know why they saved 10c on some plastik. adding them and using white ones instead of ugly grey = would be perfect. so its a good case, but not the rolls royce.

I think the case comes with two extra grey grommets in the white version. However, I read somewhere that some units have come without them.

You do not need to use Lian Li's case fans to have two rear 120mms, you simply have to install the motherboard in low mode. This is fake news and sent me down a rabbithole to see if the information was correct. What made you think this? Why would Lian Li even do that lol? Would be extremely ridiculous.

I like its gone too far. Its never far enough, I love tech, the latest stuff, and the way these companies have to keep pushing. I love the Montech King, but I liked how James tested the flex on the metal, thats a good indication of build quality, this one is awesome. im buying it.
@@ThunderboltandLightning-jx4mu Fans with screens on them are Cool. Theyre also an added expense and complexity that offers almost no real functionality. I like RGB RAM, RGB Accents on GPU's and Mobos. But the gaudy LED ring fans and unnecessary screens all over everything look pretty corny when you take a step back.

That is the recommendation from Lian Li and in our testing was the best configuration for CPU and GPU core temperature during heavy sustained load.
Install rtx4090 and 14900k then review again for temperatures
all that money for a case and not a single fan to be included, lian li aint all that
People, please do not mount your AIO in this orientation as this puts all of the air in your closed system right where the lines are.
It's recommended to mont the AIO in the side mount as intake.
Yes but flip it 180° so the hoses go in on the bottom instead of the top. That way you dont get Air into the pump.@@KitGuruJames
@@harry_theracer all it's going to do is make the pump a little louder at worst, not an issue in a test system that will be dissassembled in a few days.
Not all AIO tubes are long enough to install the way you say and the graphics card interferes with shorter AIO tubes on side mounts like this.
Although your recommendation is fine, it's just not practical in a lot of case/AIO configurations.
