@@FlixityOfficial yeah no problem. I was going to buy a custom water cooler kit for my CPU because I thought My be quiet pure loop 360 couldn't handle it. Turns out my CPU was trying to do all the work and that's probably why it was overheating I assume. . Optimizing the settings in the graphics card made a huge difference. I'm exporting it now hasn't gone over 39 degrees Celsius. I was stressed out before because I had spent a lot of money to make nature relaxation videos. So thanks again.
@MVollans You're welcome. Glad it helped. Yeah definitely if you enable gpu acceleration and apply all these settings properly then definitely it will optimize the usage of GPU for Rendering. By the way, Your PC SPECS are INSANE ❤️❤️
I have a RTX 3060 and my premiere was struggling to just move the playhead from one position to another, so far after trying this everything is at a lightning speed and I can finally edit without going insane. Thanks man!
You're welcome. Glad it helped
I have an rtx 3060 and have been having the same issues, so far so good for me too.
@@HDDiletti1911 how is 3060 going so far?
tamb me sirvio con una rtx 3070 , pero creo que es porque el programa de premiere no exige tanto por lo cual no le esta dando su maximo potencial al programa. y al hacer la config del video le esta exigiendo mas a la grafica
al menos eso es mi punto de vista
hey, very good video! i previously disabled gpu acceleration on windows 11 due to many crashes happening when browsing the timeline, and it seemed to work to fix the crashes, but now the rendering is so slow, what do you recommend on doing? should I disable gpu acceleration when editing and enable it when rendering? thx
You're welcome 🧡. Yes, you can go with that technique
ABSOLUTE LIFE SAVER. I have had issues with premiere pro lag for so long. I got to the point where I would add keyframes for moving simple graphics around the screen, and for every time I changed the position value, I had to wait 20+ seconds for the changes to reflect on the program monitor screen. Before this video< I thought I had almost lost all hope. I am just getting into full time editing and have been using a 6ish year old PC with a GTX 1060. I've been researching how to upgrade my GPU and CPU, but I don't have the funds at the moment and need to pick up a few extra jobs so I can get the upgrade. This fix definitely helped the performance!
Very happy to hear that you found this video helpful. My pleasure 🧡
Big thumbs up! Thank you Sir, so much for walking me through this 🙏
You're welcome 🧡
This setings are amazing perfomance. thank you very very much
You're welcome 🧡
I am really thankful to you that I was struggling to fix the HEVC codec issue for premier pro for the last 6 months, I saw many videos in TH-cam, but no one can solve this problem, after watching your video the problem has been solved.
Glad it helped. You're welcome 🧡
Again you helped med alot! When exporting in Premiere 2020 my GPU was using around 30%. After aplying your settings, my GPU now wallows around 80 to 90% usage and exporting time is dramatically shorter. Thanks alot!
Glad it helped. You're welcome 🧡
GREAT VIDEO! Precise and to the point! Thanks for explaining all the settings in detail!
Do you have another video where you do the same for Davinci Resolve?
Sure will do.
Thank you so much! This video has been a lifesaver after hours of frustration.
Glad it helped. You're welcome 🧡
You are the man! Thanks you just save me hundreds of dollars. I have the Intel 13900K with the RTX 4090. Trying to render a 8-hour 4K video and my CPU kept heating up and only a minute's time it was overheating. Guess my graphics card wasn't really doing anything cuz it wasn't optimized. So far so good been rendering for 17 minutes without overheating. The temperature on my processors only 39 so far so good. What a world of difference that made. Subscribed too. Thank you again and wow it actually rendered it.
Very happy to hear that it helped in increasing your rendering speed. You're welcome 🙂
Awesome tutorial. Thanks so much!

Well I just did everything you suggested and it all sounds good but many of the things you spoke settings wise I did not have in my Nvidia control panel and the same thing in premiere pro. I am using the latest version of PP and I have a new RTX 4080 laptop LEVENO 7i. So I'm not sure if I am good or not. What do you think?
If your settings are different from mine. Don't worry, it depends upon various factors. As long as you are experiencing good rendering speed. That's completely fine to go with.
Great video bro. thank you

What's your premiere pro version?
While hardware encoding is generally faster, even without all these settings, the price you pay for speed is the output file will be larger. My software 2 pass went from 980,561kb to 1,055,526kb. This will of course result in longer upload and download times.
Adjust bitrate according to your needs! It will lower the video output size!
thank u so much
You're welcome 🧡
It does not work, at least for me, when I apply an effect a little more difficult to process, the red notification still appears.... And I have a RTX 2060 and using the PP 2021 version, any suggestions?
What does the error message says? Your GPU is fine. And tell me what effects you are using?
@@FlixityOfficial The situation is strange, because when I apply some effect like Turbulent Displace to a text layer the notification appears, but not when I apply it to the main video. It also happens when I want to apply transitions from plugins, but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't... Any solution?
very helpful
Glad it helped 🧡
Hey thank you for tutorial! i have question tho. is these nvida control panel settings only for fixing "Premiere Pro not using GPU ACCELERATION for Rendering" or does it boost performance of premiere pro too, please tell me
Good question, it does actually boost performance, for that, apply proper settings in premiere pro
@@FlixityOfficial @FlixityOfficial Thanks for answering man! some of those settings really look like it can give performance but, i just cant understand why should anisotropic filtering and anti aliasing would improve performance of premiere, because some of these settings you turned on are just for games, No?
why my invidia gpu not used for render when i render on quick time with appe prores?
It's because the effects you are using depends upon your ram and cpu, not gpu.
*TQ so much solve my problem*
You're welcome 🧡
Thanx brother...
You're Welcome 🧡
Is that can be applied for after affect?!
Right now I have Rog strick g15 😢 and I can't use it
Yes, you can apply nvidia settings for aftereffects: th-cam.com/video/0b7QTyUSKDA/w-d-xo.html
Watched this whole video at 0.75x speed, and now when I play it at normal speed, it sounds insanely fast haha. Great video, I'll come back here in a week and let you know how these settings work for me.

I did everything you said. Thank you for the great job. However, my AP still using CPU for rendering and GPU do nothing. Don't understand why. I'm using AP 2023, i5 12400f and RTX 3080

Thanks a lot, the video is rendering faster. By the way, the use of the video card goes like this: 100 % then sharply 65, then 0, then again 100. And so many times. Is this not a problem?
Yes, that's normal. Gpu will be used when needed. You are good to go
thx man
You're welcome 🧡
Thanks sir
You're welcome 🧡🧡
Se puede hacer esta configuración para los juegos? Can this configuration be done for games?
No. Games have different settings. Will make a video on it too
Hello how are you? Thanks for your tutorial, I followed it perfectly but anyway I have a question.
Is it normal that when looking at the task manager my cpu is using more than 80% and my gpu is at 0%? I really don't know how to be sure that Premiere is using my gpu, in the settings it lets me select CUDA and before exporting I can select hardware acceleration which tells me that it recognizes my graphics perfectly but I'm not sure if it's really using it 😅
Glad it helped. It depends on the effects you are using. What effects are those?
I used the plugin called Dehancer which adds color correction, noise, halation, Blur and a few other things, I noticed that when it starts rendering the part where I have this plugin, the remaining render time just starts to extend longer and longer
These effects are mostly cpu and ram dependent. They will not use gpu
hi, great update, i followed it all. but here is a few questions i wanted to share with u and others as well
1
i use the rtx 4070 and u use 1660 ti is there much difference when we do the changes to those different card settings?
2
which one of the cards i mention above is better for performance ?
3
when we choose high performance, highest power mode...etc does it effect badly on the main board?
>> I did some of these settings on rtx3070 (older ver) and it burned off my board when i put my laptop on a sleep but it didnt sleep so the heat effected on the laptop. lucky not the whole laptop.
now i upgrade to rtx 4070 but still worrying if i select on all high , best preformaces stuff..
will it effect on the board for the long run...? cuz i kinda bought this one for at least a decade... wont be upgrading anytime soon. :)
* wished you could explain some of the settings why and what for if we choose this option)
over all thx., and good one
peace
Thanks for your comment. I will make a detailed video with reasons on these settings. And obviously rtx series is better. And as you put your laptop on sleep, it keeps running in the background, it's not recommend to this. Also sleeping the laptop and keeping high performance don't relate. I would recommend to upgrade ram and cpu if you are gonna upgrade, with SSD. Upgrading gpu will not change anything significantly
Which would be a very high graphics card to select 300 on the HDR Graphics White option?
It all depends upon your budget. For premiere pro I would say prefer ram and cpu also Prefer SSD nvme m.2 to see results
I need you help. In the Video rendering and playback there is no option (Mercure Playback GPU CUDA) its locked.
" I'm using an RTX 4070:(

When i exportar the premier use the 50% of gpu but after a few minutes it goes down ton0%. Can you help me?
It depends upon the effects you are using. By the way, what effects are you using?
We have colorful 1660 super gddr6 6gb, rendering it too slow. What will be the solution.
What effects you are using?
Very nice, thanks! Could you replicate this for AMD Cards?
Sure. Will do that in my upcoming videos!
@@FlixityOfficial Thank you! Maybe it's interesting to mention that, in my case, I'm using the Adrenalin Pro drivers, on an consumer end Rx6600xt card. I believe it's something like using Nvidia studio driver on GTX/RTX cards (I mean, not Quadro cards) 😃
@fedess07 sure. I will explore and test best settings and share video soon

Hei, I think you will answer my question, I am planing to buy a new PC , will you answer me if I buy ryzen 7 7700 and rtx 4060, can I have smooth timeline playback ? Like if I edit with lots of effects or something can I have smooth timeline playback in 4k? and what about after effects ? can I use dynamic linking with this CPU and GPU pair? i am noob bro, building my first pc
If you ask me to choose amd or Intel I prefer Intel for video editing softwares. Otherwise all things depend upon your budget
@@FlixityOfficial Will rtx 4060 be enough for video editing?
Would this slow down my computer at all. It definitely worked for premiere pro but now when I browse on TH-cam & what not it seems a lot slower…
TH-cam is slower on browsers, it's a bug on TH-cam. It's not because of Nvidia settings
did it really made your premiere lot faster, and smoother?
2:02 I see that Daz application you got there xd

Dear Sir, thank you so much for your wonderful tutorial that I have watched and invite all my students to watch your videos. I have applied all your settings for Premiere Pro and also for Media Encoder, not because I had a problem, but to increase efficiency and speed up the workflow. But now, every time I open Premier Pro, I have a red warning with this text: "A low-level exception occurred in: (Transmit::Startup)". All seems to work properly. What this can be? I work with BRAW files 6K, multicamera and my laptop is Windows 11 64bit 12th Gen intel i7-12700H 64Gb RAM with RTX 3070Ti.
Thanks for the support. Thank you very much
It's because you are using 6k videos and sometimes it renders and converts the video to editable format and uses gpu to do all that stuff. In order to fix it, convert your videos using proxies to reduce load on ram and gpu and then render in higher quality. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks
@@FlixityOfficial thank you for your answer, but this is not the problem. I always used 6K and render (withouth proxy) with no problem also before apply your new settings. Also this waring message "A low-level exception occurred in: (Transmit::Startup)" cames also when I open a new project before add videos... even with a normal FullHD or even before put a sequence... I am happy with your new settings, they speed up rendering, and everything, but this waring message appears after I apply your new NVIDIA settings. In your opinion what can be?
If that's the case then apply only gpu acceleration settings and rest you can leave as optional
My graphic p2000 not work during editing time
Timeline is lagging
Plz help me.
What's your premiere pro version and system specifications?
Commented on the last video saying my gpu only used 24% and then after this vid and making all these changes it still only uses 24-27%
It's good. Above 20% is absolute
I have gtx 1660 . I applied all settings but still rendering time not decreased
What effects you are using?
I dont have NVIDIA, i have Radeon RX 570 Series and in Premiere Pro it says (OpenCL) not CUDA. Am i missing something?
OpenCL is also good to go. You can enable gpu acceleration
@@FlixityOfficial it says like in your video, but instead of (Cuda) at the end, is says OpenCL.
@@FlixityOfficial took me 2 hours to export a nearly 3 min of graphic video. My computer doesnt like heavy projects in after effects so i thought to try the premiere pro version but it didnt like it very much, better but not very quick.
Premiere pro is cpu and ram dependent mostly. So it takes time to export but thr quality of export is much better
@@FlixityOfficial thank you. Hopefuly i wont have to do much video graphic editing anymore any time soon :))) i have AMD Fx 9950,eight core, 4ghz, 32gb ddr3. It might be ok for casual fullhd editing but not graphics.
Not worked for me. Just show an issue with my onboard intel GPU
This won't work on Intel gpu! This video is for dedicated gpu. Let me know if you have any questions
This video has every setting you need to know in order to tweak your NVIDIA RTX GPU to have the best adobe premier pro editing and render settings.
Thank you. Appreciate your feedback 🧡
What about Amd gpus?
Good question. You can find and apply gpu settings for AMD too. But no worries, I am looking for AMD optimizations too
У меня 2060 уже все ролики пересмотрел ничего не помогало)))После вашего вроде заработало)) Огромное спасибо))
You're welcome 🙂
I don’t know about anybody else but after I did this, it completely jacked up Pr…it kept freezing no matter what actions I took.
I had to restore the original settings and it worked as normal…not great, normal.
Not saying it won’t work for you but it certainly didn’t for me on my RTX 3090. Good luck.
In that case apply gpu acceleration settings, gpu compatibility settings and that's it
I can't enable gpu acceleration on premiere pro. Do you why that is?
What's your premiere pro version and specifications?
