It was lovely to see the finished sculpture being unveiled today on the market place (Sunday 30 April 2023). The statue is brilliant and really detailed. The event was very well attended and it was good to hear the Shirebrook Miners Welfare brass band and see the fire service in support with their fire engine. Well done everyone
