This interview launched Dr. Peterson onto the world stage. The interviewer tried all of the conventional tricks and conventions of a discreditable ideology without realizing (nor, to be fair, did we at the time) that she was in the ring with the heavyweight champ. God bless Dr. Jordan Peterson!

I never felt that I was victimized or oppressed because of my sex. I chose to marry and have children which far exceeds the joy and satisfaction I have received from my very fulfilling job. I made sacrifices for my family that I absolutely do NOT regret.

Sometimes people need to talk as if they are talking to a toddler. Specially when they see the other person is miss understanding almost everything they are saying.
He should have said, intelligence and consciousness are predictors of success, BUT BUT BUT because women tend to also be agreeable, it makes it more difficult for them. So, not because of them not being intelligent, but because of the agreeableness aspect.

And I hope she didn't actually believe the words she was putting in Jordan's mouth, because that would make her a complete moron, lol. Unfortunately the interview was spoiled by the constant misinterpretation by the interviewer of the answers. If ever there was an augment as to why certain women should not be interviewers this was it. She is totally out of her depth. I have never heard an interviewer say to an interviewee " I'm trying to process what you said" unbelievable interview skills.
This woman probably walked away from this interview thinking she won the argument. Jordan’s restraint is truly amazing in this one.

I would also argue that there is literally a physical factor. I was 6’2” and a HEALTHY 220 lbs(a fairly recent car accident has changed that, and I’m now in a wheelchair). I started working at a McDonald’s several years ago and was moved into management fairly quickly. And promoted through management very quickly. But, my stature literally helped me. I had to spend less energy or effort to get results. I feel that my stature alone commanded respect. There were numerous occasions where we had a disturbance with staff or customers, and it all subsided by me simply walking up. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure my facial expression played a role as well, but people are normally essentially threatened by stature. I even proved the benefit of my size to the regional manager as I had him stand on the opposing side of the counter. We acted out a physical altercation. He couldn’t even reach me, but I could have easily pummeled him(I simply grabbed his tie).😅

The issue with this interview is that she was totally unprepared. The other issue is that most people watching this seem to have no concept of how these kind of interviews are led. The interviewers job is to present the opposing viewpoit effectively in order to test the thoughts/opinions/statements of the intervewee. If it's done correctly, it is a very effective means of extracting meanintiful and insightful information in a short amount of time. Newman can do this very well, but in this case she was poorly informed and poorly prepared (and may have been having a bad day to). To then claim she^s a moron or to use this interview to make assumptions about her own political and ideological views is ignorant itself.

What's even more ironic about this is how divorce courts overwhelmingly give the mother custody of the kids. The father is lucky if he gets to see them every other weekend, even if he fought for joint or full custody. The legal precedent demonstrates, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that society prioritizes women as caregivers & responsible for child-rearing, yet feminists don't seem to care about "equality" in these cases! Shocking, isn't it?

This guy is incredible! Absolute respect. What i will never ever understand is, if they fight for their rights how to be threated/called, where is my right to decide if i want to accept it or not? @@matteovercelli344 if you havent heard much about him, I'll roughly paraphrase what he's been through - disclaimer, this is an extremely short and incomplete summary, and I could not possibly hope to explain how amazingly patient and kind this man is in a single youtube comment.
Here goes.
In 2016, he opposed legislation in canada on the grounds that it violated free speech, he stood up for his values even though it put his career at risk. He debated people who were slandering him, threatening him, and attempting to cancel him, yet he never once retaliated.
He has talked at length with multiple feminists in public interveiws - ususally it goes something like the above, where they attempt to frame him for something he didn't say then gaslight him for it. A common tactic among extremist activists. Every single time, he replies very carefully and respectfully.
He has made a stand against transgender extremism causing a huge surge in gender dysphoria among children - explaining why the social contagien is so dangerous. He faced lawsuits, death threats, and constant violent protests to his lectures, seminars, and public showings, but he has remained nothing but polite and compassionate to the very people who have threatened his life and career.
There's more, I could go on, but hopefully you get the idea. The man is compassionate, knowledgeable, and courageous.

To be fair, Cathy Newman WAS raked over the coals over this interview. Lots of people on social media ridiculed her. Then she double down by playing the victim card and labeling everyone who did respond to this interview in a negative manner bigots. Meanwhile Peterson walked away from it all with the fattest W of all time. This interview gained him more fame and respect than most of his other public appearances combined.

She appears so caught up trying to get him and thinking about what she is going to say next that she really didn't hear anything he actually said, but responded to what she thinks she heard him say. More proof, journalists are not looking for facts but pushing thier agendas . She would do good to just listen and hear his answers.
