As a psychology student in the early 80s I attended a lecture by John Money. He openly bragged about his “success” at gender reassignment and talked extensively about these twins. After the lecture we went to dinner at a local restaurant where I sat directly across from John Money and we had a conversation during which he constantly alluded to sexual acts, genitalia, odd attractions, and fetishes. It made me very uncomfortable as a young student which he seemed to enjoy. I remember it to this day. I am 62 years old. In my opinion this man was truly evil.

My sister saved her son from John Money when her son was born with a condition that kept his penis from forming properly. He pressured her terribly but she refused to let them do a sex assignment surgery. He’s a happy married man now. It’s unreal how far this whole debacle has gone over the past 40 years.
Her angels are with her. God bless her for protecting her family.

Your sister is truly a wise woman for successfully following her instinct to protect her son from harm - ESPECIALLY when pressured by Dr. Money with all the gravitas and prestige of Johns Hopkins backing him up!
There are moments in everyone's life when one has to stop and carefully consider if a conclusion is correct, or if an action is truly the best course given the circumstances.
During those moments, we must ask ourselves if what is proposed makes sense!
Thank God your sister thought carefully and realized that consenting to an irreversible surgery on her baby was not going to solve anything, but would have led them down a path of pain and tremendous regret.
Parents are choosing now to WAIT if their son is diagnosed with hypospadia: that there is no harm done to allow their child to remain as he was born, letting him grow and mature so he can decide for himself whether he wants to consider surgery.
As long as an infant is peeing adequately, without any obstruction, there is less harm done by waiting until he's older before discussing intervention.
This includes decision-making involving some medications as well.
If it isn't an emergency, do your research and ask questions. Don't let anyone shame you for asking for as much information as possible before you make a decision.
Dr. Money's story is a cautionary tale we can learn from. Remember,
"First, do no harm."

An ex of mine (a woman I still respect immensely) was going for her doctorate in early childhood psychology around 2013, just before the gender identity crisis really came to life.
She left the field entirely during the middle of her doctorate upon finding out just how corrupt and flimsy most psychiatric research is.
I was actually sitting in taking some of the courses as an observer as she asked intelligent and probing questions about methodology and ethics , only to be met with eventual stone-walling once it became clear that some number of the sources being used for the doctorate program were utterly manufactured or highly manipulated.

You're correct. My husband used to be in the counseling/ mental health field. The LACK of research has trouble me for a couple of decades. I don't trust anything from that branch of medicine.
Psychiatry, by and large, is a "profession" that has managed to fabricate "mental illnesses" which they tell the public are caused by brain abnormalities/imbalances for which they have no definitive proof. Any patient who is diagnosed with any kind of deviation from what a psychiatrist sees as "normal" behaviour is likely to be given one or more psychotropic drugs which they will probably become dependent on for the rest of their lives. Psychotropic drugs are neurotoxins (see evidence from Dr. Peter Breggin). This is the most efficacious way to treat people who are only suffering from existential dilemmas and have nowhere else to turn. I am glad that at least some people can see the charade.

The sad fact of the matter is that research costs money, and the overwhelming majority of funding is given with predetermined expectations. It really soured me on my own experience.

Psychology is a narrative field, not a scientific one. You don't take in teh concepts and submit to them as object facts or physical laws. The main issue is people want to be told, they want to be seen, they want to be fixed. And so, they are prey. And there will be a predatopr there to mold them as they wish.

Ironically, this dude wasn’t trans. He was forced into this. And his experience was very similar to that of an actual trans person, minus the abuse. In the sense that he was raised as the wrong gender. That’s how trans people feel. This is why trans people transition. In this case, it was just the other way around.

And just two years ago I was sitting in an intro to sociology class at my university and the professor was trying to convince us all that gender is a spectrum and of the validity of trans-sexual surgery. He didn’t bring up this case but it was the same idea. And so many of the students in the room were nodding enthusiastically. I was so disgusted and furious.
And yet, David's whole family became a statistic that sociologist study.

As a teenager I remember watching an Oprah Winfrey talk show episode where she had David Reimer on. That is when I first heard of transgenderism although it wasn't called that back then. I felt so shocked, horrified and sorry for what had happened to David and his parents but then I naively comforted myself with the thought that at least the world knows about this now, and so it won't ever happen again. How wrong I was.
What took me by total surprise though, was not just that the world hadn't learned anything from poor David Reimer, but that they actively ignored his huge warning story and all his unnecessary suffering. The world had ignored it, ignored the doctors evil acts and deliberately ignored all the clear negatives and abuse of transing kids. Not just ignored it though, no far worse than that, the transing of kids actually became encouraged to the hilt and those who stood up for kids to not get abused like that are the ones who get demonised. This is the work of Demons to flip such an obvious evil into a perceived good.
Trans-ing kids is pure child abuse. It's origin is in powerful pedophile's and pedophile doctors. It is as satanic as it gets.
I saw the Oprah Winfrey segment on TH-cam, but had known of the Reimer tragedy previously. The mother had allowed Money to experiment on her sons. Of course, Oprah wanted the scoop of the remaining twin forgiving his tearful mother on her show. What a cringey, outrageous expectation on top of all that poor young man's other problems, but Oprah was there to cash in on it.

I remember being taught this as if it was gospel when I was in middle school back in the early 80s. My teacher was very belittling to anyone who questioned its legitimacy.

As a person born with an intersex medical condition, I cannot express how much I hate Money and his horrible ideas. David deserved so much better than everything that happened to him from the circumcision, to his parents thinking a boy could be turned into a girl, to the things Money inflicted on him. Doctors really need to keep their hands off children unless medically absolutely necessary.
I can't imagine how tough your life must have been having an intersex medical condition. I learned about it through my medical education but it was never taught or brought up as the solution to pick a sex based on what you want but instead the sex organs that should have been is based on whether are not you had the Y chromosome. This was public knowledge back in the early 2000s when a documentary came out and even Oprah talked about it. Now, few people are willing to talk about this case because of the political blowback.

I remember learning about this in class. I always thought people were silent because they were obviously horrifed about what happened, looking back its more likely they were silent because they didn't know if they were allowed to feel horrified.

This story was taught in a Human Sexuality course in college that I attended a few months ago. However, the course completely left out the end of this story. When I looked into the story further, I was enraged that the course material blatantly obfuscated the true results of this evil "experiment".

I'm an identical twin this story makes me so angry. My brother was born blind and has cerebral palsy so bad he was wheelchair bound and could barely speak. So what if one of them was missing parts. This story would be like my parents breaking my legs and blinding me, because a doctor said its what they needed to do. They could have both lived there lives as brothers. Maybe a little different but still.
I use past tense when I speak about my identical twin because sadly he passed away. My brother had a happy life. In spite of all the challenges life gave him. He looked forward to getting home from school so he could lose himself in the music he liked. He loved the elevator because when it moved that initial jolt made muscles move that would normally be paralyzed. Normally I don't like being so personal with internet comments, but I want anyone who is reading this to know experts are not always right. They said my brother would likely not live past 8 years old. He lived till he was 16. A lot of it has to do with the love and care my parents and grand parents gave him.

I watched the documentary _Dr Money and the Boy with No Penis_ years ago and I just remember sobbing when the fate of both of the boys was revealed. What astounding evil has to be present in the human heart when we’ve allowed our culture to be overtaken by the most objectionable perversion imaginable.

Where can I find that documentary??
I am a 54 year old male born with hypospadias. I don't know how severe, but at ages 5 and 6 I had reconstructive plastic surgery to correct the opening of the urethra. I remember at age six the catheter being removed after a week in the hospital and the sensation of "peeing razor blades" when I urinated. Through the years I have had numerous urethrosplasties and DVIUs to remove scar tissue and or reconstruct my urethra. This includes grafts of the buccal mucosa. In 2014, I opted for a urothrectomy to route my urine through the perineum. In 2021, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer no doubt due to the numerous surgeries, infections and chronic inflammation. I had a radical cystectomy, prostectomy and urothrectomy last year. I am stage 4 bladder cancer having completed cisplatin/gemzar and now on Opdivo. This John Money guy could be a Pharma executive. Almost 30 years ago I caught my own Dr. in a big lie that had negative consequences for me. Without the internet at the time I sent away for medical text books and also went the local university library to research. The resulting confrontation with the Dr. was pretty traumatic for both of us. That was a pivotal moment for me. The trust in institutions was destroyed. The whole pandemic response is no surprise to me.

Farsighted correction was in it's infancy as it's a more complicated process. I'm farsighted(+8) and only have one good eye from birth. I went in for an assessment and was declared a good candidate and that success rates were well over 90%. In fact the success rates for farsightedness dropped significantly as the numbers went from +1 up. Corrections above +6 were not being done anymore due to the abysmal results. This is all covered in the industry manual(not for the public) published by this eye institute a year later. Using the "over 90% success rates" of regular near sighted patients was completely false and known to be false at the time.
I was one of the lucky ones I suppose. I went to a well known hospital for an assessment for the then new laser eye vision correction. I am very near-sighted, and the young man who looked at my eyes said I was not a good candidate. He didn’t elaborate, and seemed brusque and dismissive. I left very disappointed. Today, I am thankful. I realize God had intervened and protected me…like He always has.
I went to a "family physician" years ago when just newly married. Told the Dr. about the then wife's issues with getting pregnant because she had too many abortions while following the feminazi mantra and whoring around in sexual "freedom" at a prestigious over-priced university. (I found out about her exploits AFTER I said I do, but then I was done.) Anyway, I lamented to this "doctor" who supposedly took a Hippocratic Oath to do no harm...or is that Hypocrite Oath?....so this dude with a license says in a very angry tone, "You are NEVER going to stop abortions! If a woman wants an abortion, I'm going to do it TO her!" So, I immediately picked up on his use of words and called him on it. "Do it TO her?! Not "for" her?" Of course, he made excuses for his Freudian slip. Then proceeded to tell me how an intern making $25,000 a year can work the weekends at an abortion clinic making hundreds if not thousands PER abortion! And it gets subsidized by the government(taxpayers) with no taxes charged to the "medical professionals" by funneling and shuffling monies around. It's a HUGE money-making scam by the so-called "medical professionals".

The Reimers were uneducated blue collar workers, just like my parents were at that time. Good hard working people but I had more education when I was in grade 8 than what either one of my parents would EVER have. They depended on the abilities and knowledge of doctors because they had no access to information like we would today. Even reading was a problem for them.
Now, YOU sit in judgement of people, who lived in a time, where learning these things were near impossible unless you went into post secondary education. That's NOT guilt.
That's the reality of life before the eighties for most adults. If you had asked my parents to define the term "critical thinking" back in 1965, they would have given you a blank look and shrugged their shoulders. Evil isn’t always intentional, sometimes it comes in & takes over by way of ignorance. It’s my belief that ANY parent has FAILED who thinks it’s ok to agree to ATTEMPT to change the sex of your child, mutilate - or in this case, FURTHER mutilate their body, try to lie to them their entire life & keep family secrets - ESP secrets about THEIR OWN TRUE BACKGROUND, and then these ppl left their little kids ALONE with another grown man, AND didn’t have a good enough relationship with their own children in order to know something was wrong RIGHT AWAY - UH AH!!! Just UH-AH!!!!!!
Did they ever get any second, or third opinions? They just went along with what the first nut job suggested?? Did they ever think to pray about it?? Even if they were non-believers, before you go and do something major like what they did, you’d think a parent who is dying to make the right decision would at least look up one time, even out of desperation.
I know for myself that being a parent is harder than we even already acknowledge that it is. I have a 15-year-old son & 12 & 11 year old girls. I’ve experienced a few surprises already, things I would never have thought would happen with us, but I have taken the #1 job of my kids safety & well-being more than seriously!!
These parents allowed their children and themselves to be traumatized by ALLOWING all sorts of evil in. They didn’t guard their physical, mental, emotional, or SPIRITUAL gates.
I pray ppl do learn from their mistakes and missteps.

I saw David on Oprah many years ago and I never forgot him or his story. It was gut wrenching. It’s one of the reasons why I fight this transing of children craze. It’s evil and John Money helped make it possible.

It is however undeniable that some children themselves believe their inner selves to be of the opposite sex. The problem is adults being unable to know if they will maintain that position for their entire lives. Anyway it is a completely different situation to what has been described here.
Ah, or you can call it psychology. It's not that the field isn't ruined by so many of these things. I remember back inthe early 2010's they had to scrap 1/3th of all literature in the field as it was based on this ridiculous laugable study that was completely wrong with falsified data. And it's not that last century was any better. Psych. Facilities were basically nice words for experimental torture houses.

Things that have been facts for my entire life of 55 years have all of a sudden become considered“ fluid”, by the trans community and medical establishment. …. As I said. Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear… especially by a medical establishment that is profiting greatly from this phenomenon and new revenue streams….follow the money. Be sure to question every “ fact” you are given. You will find they are not facts, but a part of this new and radical belief system, that attempts to separate biology, sex and gender. I have really only scratched the surface in describing this “ belief system”, but , I would urge you scour TH-cam. Here are a few names. Miriam Grossman, Jennifer Bilek,Abigail Spencer and Camilla Paglia. These ladies are all liberal, feminist,journalists and professors and far more articulate than am I…. I am also a “ worrywart. I worry that there is an attempt to destroy our culture, a culture that is/ was based and centered around the love between men and women. It's super creepy how many of the originators and leaders of the trans movement are perverted. This needs to be widespread information. I read Reimer's book decades ago when it came out and never forgot it.

Why do you believe in no circumcision? It's simply shortening a length of skin to reduce the risk of contracting certain diseases. I mostly understand piercings but most can simply be removed or have little to no negative attributes (for example earrings.)

The parents simply want to ensure the health of their boys, would you also say that children should have the right to deny needles for things like chicken pox when their parents want to set up an appointment? Hell no!
I am XX and was always a tomboy. I rebuild car engines for fun, break and train horses, built my own house by myself, never liked wearing dresses but never considered myself masculine in any way. I love my curves but like being able to do things for myself as I don't need to depend on anyone.

There are numerous cases where cycling babies with ambiguous genitalia were surgically made into girls in the days before genetic testing. The disastrous consequences were well known 20 years ago. But the fact is that not only genes and hormones determine how a child or adult feels -sexually and behaviorally- much is dependent upon the hormone receptors on the cells of various tissues -especially during development of the fetus and young child. This is critical because 1. Sometimes babies are born with genetic abnormalities for those receptors- so that the hormones don’t work on those tissues (in the brain or even in the developing genitalia) , or 2. possibly, hormone mimicking chemicals from plastics or pesticides could alter the development of those tissues.
The result of all this is supported by the story of Bruce: some people feel that they are not their assigned or genetic gender.
Even more importantly: we have created categories for gender behaviors: but studies of primates don’t support this theory. Not all male apes take on the same role: some attempt to dominate, while others “wowed” their partners when the dominant male wasn’t around. So there is no reason to believe that there is one way of feeling masculine and one way of feeling feminine. It makes more sense that there is a spectrum of feelings. To me, it suggests that there are likely a small percentage of people who are ambivalent about their sex, and should naturally just follow along with society’s expectations.
This is proof of what we’ve know for millennia.
Even as a gay dude, I know gender is a fact. I’m 100% man. My male body feels right, has always felt right. As an adult I fully embrace my masculinity with passion and joy.
