I could definitely see that being the case depending on the bulb. The led bulbs i used don’t cause any glare with the rear view camera 😎 thanks for watching!
I have read on the forums tht you can remove it with forscan 👍🏼 that being said forscan can be very in depth and lengthy process to learn how to use. You can very quickly screw your truck up if not used properly. Make sure you have a factory backup with the forscan settings b4 adjusting anything(several people on forums mentioned this to be able to undo a mistake if adjustments cause issue). I chose the bypass method as its easy and quick. Didnt want to spend hours learning the functionality of forscan. That being said if you are confident in your ability to navigate forscan there is alot more cool capabilities that forscan can do! Our main concerns were the backup beep and the seat belt chime. Other than tht nothing really bothered us. If you would like to see how to remove the seat belt chime without forscan let me know and I’ll make a video on it! But forscan does this as well. Forscan is a very cool tool I wish i had the knowledge to do but just don’t have the time to learn it and use it with confidence! Hope this help and thanks for watching 🤘🏼😎
