That fuel funnel is INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT! I added a bottle of high mileage fuel treatment to my truck and because it had a long neck, I figured I didn't need the funnel. Well I definitely messed something up. Because the next time I went to fill up, my truck wouldn't take gas. The pump kept clicking off like the tank was full. The only way I could get any gas was to very lightly feather the handle until I had enough to get by. It would take me 15 minutes to get 5 gallons. This went on for two weeks until the service shop had an opening for me. They had to replace the entire fuel neck thing that connects down to the tank. Cost me $650 because I didn't use a 2 cent piece of plastic.
This seems to be a common issue with vehicles featuring capless. I had this problem in my Durango and Explorer. I was only able to fuel up at certain gas stations. The dealer had to replace the fuel filler neck in both vehicles and it fixed my issue for the most part.
My 2023 Tundra still has the proven method of screwing on the gas cap. My 2014 Mustang GT had the capless as well and went bad after a few years. Gets dirt and debris in it and starts throwing a code.
Just do not understand the keypad thing. I always use mine. It’s one thing that’s set Ford apart for years. And to make it a stick on? I can see that falling off. Stupid, imo
Yeah I don’t get it either. As an owner of an f250 and f150. I love my wired/integrated keypad. Use it all the time as I have a habit of leaving the trucks running, so I leave the key in and just lock/unlock using the keypad. I’ve heard for years that the stick on keypad has been pretty unreliable and the battery doesn’t last very long so I would hate the stick on keypads on my trucks. I’m willing to be that Ford will probably realize their mistake and bring back the wired keypad for 2025 hopefully.
I have said to my team that now that ford has gotten rid of the intigrated door code we are likely switching back to GM, its amzing how a little gimmic like that made me change brands and now lose brand loyalty.
YUP, at $38 to $43 K they still had plenty of VALUE! At $65 to $80K that VALUE is Long Gone! They're trying to make the Customers pay for ***Their Mistake***of Ever getting involved with Electric Vehicles!
Damn, Ford makes the best looking trucks! That Powerboost in that dark blue colour looks awesome. My second Powerboost (2024) is Carbonized Grey........ kinda' wish I had ordered that blue; it's a nice change from black. We love our Powerboosts; best trucks on the market right now imho. Having said that, I'm a little bummed that they deleted the POWERFLOW METER in the large centre display. That feature was sooo useful, even when towing.
@cwqrpportable no problem. I also have a 24 carbonized grey powerboost. I had a 21 black powerboost and it was swirl city lol. I'm curious to see if the seat belt dinger is able to be turned off in the 24s? This vid says 25 but it should be the same hopefully. I'll be checking later today.
@cwqrpportable I didn't really use it in the 21, I did notice it missing in the 24. Also being able to turn the zone lighting on and off from the app is gone, I wonder why?
To roll back all the windows up from the outside at the same time insert your key in the door unlock and lock mechanism on the driver door and turn to the lock position and hold it until all the windows are all the way up ( closed )
I'm so glad that Blue Cruise is an option now instead of standard. I'm going to be ordering and I definitely WON'T be getting it. It's creepy and there are already too many techy things being incorporated with the new vehicles now. Really good to know about the gas funnel. That said though, I still prefer a locking fuel compartment with regular gas cap. That tip about the seatbelt reminder is GOLD! Thank you! I'm so glad you showed what the DIO for the key pad is. Talk about a cheesy replacement! I was going to get the add on but that stick on thing is definitely a no go for me. Bad move on Ford's part getting rid of the key pad as standard. What were they thinking??
Hi Michell, great video as always. I have a suggestion for a future video. Maybe show some example configurations for customer requirements. As an example, I currently have a 2002 F250 7.3 D Super Crew std bed. If I were to get a new truck, which would you suggest. I would actually prefer to go to an F150 but I may need to keep with an F250. Here are my truck uses: We have a 3 horse goose neck trailer which we use infrequently (once a month for short trips of about 50 miles each way), which has a GVWR of 10,200 pounds. I avoid using the truck when going into the city due to the total length of the truck (without trailer). My preference of engine would be a powerboost, cab would be a crew cab and standard bed. The reason for the shorter cab is, shorter vehicle when parking (without the trailer) and I think we have had someone other than the dog in the back seat twice, of my current truck. Which truck and configuration would you suggest?
The seatbelt chime alone was worth watching this video!!! I have been in a loaner F150 for over 2 weeks and the seat belt chime is SOOOO ANNOYING when picking up my kids at school. Of course now my wife wants one of these but I just want my Ranger back lol
I have a 24 402A 150 Tremor. I’m still in the blue cruise trial period , but I already have it turned off. I did try it and it works , but not my thing. We are doing a 2” level kit here soon so hopefully it will be ok. If you think I may have an issue PLEASE let me know.
Does the owner of the vehicle have access to the diagnostic data from what the check engine light is detecting too? It's great that the dealership can see what the "exact" check engine issue is. But knowing actually "what" is wrong with your OWN vehicle BEFORE arriving at the shop is a must. I grow tired of showing up at the dealership for a repair, not knowing myself what the problem is, and then proceeding to play the pin the tail on the donkey game so many shops play. We shouldn't have to play the old, "we'll start with this and see if it's the problem" game anymore. How nice it would be to know WHAT repairs are needed BEFORE arriving at the shop. Let the service shop "fleecing" end.
With the help of Forscan, you can add global windows up. At least the older models you can. I've done it on multiple 13th gen F150s and 21-23 14th gen F150s.
TCcustoms - Does this Truck in the video have a Leveling Kit or a Lift ? I hate that fold down compartment under the rear seat. One of the best things about the F-150 has been a complete flat floor. That POS fold down sucks & your floor is no longer 100% flat. Tell FORD to get rid of that!
After owning 6 Fords I’m looking at GMC bc of the half-ton diesel. I’ve owned 3 Ecoboost engines, all had issues, none ever got advertised fuel economy. My dad has the Powerboost hybrid and he’s averaging under 20 mpg. GMC diesel is averaging mid 20s.
Please tell me I'm missing something here... So if I dont have that 10c plastic funnel and run out of gas, not even AAA will be able to give the truck some gas? So now I have to spend an exuberant amount to tow it to a gas station? That sounds like a design flaw not a hidden feature.
Except for when your vehicles in deep sleep mode for battery conservation FordPass and your cell phone will not activate it at least it has not on mine
Killed it. They do have the reverse brake assist. And forward brake assist. That will apply the brakes if you’re about to hit something when trying to park.
I really don't like the fact that they're discontinuing the exterior keypad! To me that has what set for it apart from all the other makes. And I believe it's not just the F-150 but it's the entire f-series line including the super duty.
The seat belt stops ding after about 10 minutes on my 2024 So i have the blue cruise i can't put a leaving kit on my tremor I did re subscribe for it after the 90 days
What?!? All this time I thought you were showing a 2025 model. I was actually impressed with the dealer install key code until you said it was going to go in the paint.
Ford got rid of the roll up function? push and release the lock button on the key fob and then push and hold the button. This no longer rolls the windows up?
sticking the keypad inside the fuel door? now just think about that. Only way to open the fuel door is from inside the truck. So, if you can open the fuel door, the truck is already open. Unless you want to reach up under the truck to pull the ripcord, and who is going to do that, since the keypad is supposed to be for convenience. But still a very informative video.
@ 6:00 You are 6 foot three and can't spell seatbelt !!!! ..That Unit that TC lifted is perfect 🙃 @ 0:45 If a person had a cap less fuel funnel could they steal your gas (If they know the door latch cable ) Those funnels are cheap I think they can steal the gas
Was that a car seat TETHER ANCHOR on the rear seat when you lifted the seat forward? On previous models, I believe one had to use the nylon straps underneath the head rests.
So higher price, no leather seats until king ranch or platinum and less features. Got it. Unreal. Let’s not forget Ford has raised prices 40 percent in last 5 years.
4:55 yeah ford realized they can charge you more for less features and pass on NONE of the savings to the consumer. It’s almost as if they don’t want my business as a customer with a 50k BASE MODEL TRUCK
One more thing because Ford can collect data, when they sell this data to your insurance company. The insurance companies raise your rates or DROP you all together, if you disconnectedthe seat belt chime. This is one of the control FORD!! has over its customer. Not good .... Not good!
Glad my 24 F350 has the keypad they made a mistake with that for sure. I had no idea about the Steelership being able to have access to my ford app!! Can't wait to hear on the news how a Ford worker stalked some pretty woman using it! Privacy I say...
These Sync4 screens on the F150 are a nice size -not too big or too small. Just enough things for the tech savy. My 2023 Lightning XLT has one. -Back then it was pretty exciting, but now is the standard. Some of these things are way oversized in other vehicles, or just super cheap in others. -If you get Ford Sync4 it should be able to do everything you will ever need. -I have never used Ford BlueCruise or take my hands off the wheel. 2021 Limited Powerboost user here with 80k miles. Absolutely no difference to the 21 model apart from a grill, headlight and small ui changes to the infotainment.

On a $70K vehicle. WTF.
This seems to be a common issue with vehicles featuring capless. I had this problem in my Durango and Explorer. I was only able to fuel up at certain gas stations. The dealer had to replace the fuel filler neck in both vehicles and it fixed my issue for the most part.

Just do not understand the keypad thing. I always use mine. It’s one thing that’s set Ford apart for years. And to make it a stick on? I can see that falling off. Stupid, imo
And when battery runs out you have to buy a NEW keypad dealer said no battery change. Had to put one on my Braptor

Great for goin out on the jetskis or boats dont have to worry about them
The main reason I bought 5 Fords....
One of the best all time features. Use it all the time.
That antimatter blue color is insanely beautiful!!! Got me wanting a 5.0.......
I got the 2024 with the color
It's so much fun to drive
I have it this color in 5.0, 2" front lift. It's beautiful in the summer out of car wash......but so difficult to keep it clean 😅
Nooo! Ford, Nooo! Bring back the key pad. Best feature by far! It’s a must have.
Is this an XLT? And what is the lift/tire size? Looks great, thank you
That is a sick looking F150! Absolutely beautiful!
Keypad is the one option that keeps me buying Ford trucks...
Buy a 24
I got it. Never use it.
yep, I use it almost everyday
I have said to my team that now that ford has gotten rid of the intigrated door code we are likely switching back to GM, its amzing how a little gimmic like that made me change brands and now lose brand loyalty.
Bro there’s no way that factory jack is lifting that lifted truck lol
it does and very well actually
works on my machine
@@mred1341… You would most likely need a block under the jack to make up for the height of the lift. 🤔🤔
Electric windows. Key pad, remote start is all the fancy I need.
They don’t come with the keypad anymore lol
@petergalvez6431 i know or a cd player i forgot to add that.
Keypad is my favourite option. Ford needs to find a better way to keep it going
Keep it as is it’s worked fine since forever ago
What size lift, wheels size and tires are you guys running on this F150? Looks killer!
Beautiful truck you are so entertaining lol keep it up. Love the video.
That color is SWEET❤ The F150 is still my favorite Truck wish they weren’t WAY OUT OF MY RANGE. Definitely my Dream Truck
YUP, at $38 to $43 K they still had plenty of VALUE! At $65 to $80K that VALUE is Long Gone! They're trying to make the Customers pay for ***Their Mistake***of Ever getting involved with Electric Vehicles!
The best Truck in the Word 💪🏻
Y’all should do a video on how to get different ford vehicles into neutral when they vehicle dies or becomes disabled. Those turn dials are the worst
Love the antimatter blue! … What lift kit and specs are on that Ford F-150? 🙃🍷🛻
The seatbelt one works on my 2012 XLT too. Great for a work truck with lots of short very slow speed construction zone mobility
1:01 a piece of 3/4” pex pipe works too, don’t ask me how I know
Love the looks of that truck.
Great video…. Too bad FORD keeps ruining their own products.
It has not changed enough from my trouble-free 21 to want it. I will wait to see the next generation F 150.
The carbonized grey is the better color. The blue shows imperfections alot like black. You made the right choice 👌
@ Thanks

Or just hold the lock button
Nicest looking pickup around.
Dude i also love the set up and i'd love to know what lift is it and tires size and rims 😅
Wow that seat belt thing is amazing just did it on my truck I had bought a silencer on Amazon 😂
I'm so glad that Blue Cruise is an option now instead of standard. I'm going to be ordering and I definitely WON'T be getting it. What size lift and tires do you have on the truck?
Imma guess a 2.5-3”
Looks like a 6" with 35" tires.
Hi Michell, great video as always. I have a suggestion for a future video. Maybe show some example configurations for customer requirements. Great, now if someone wants to put some corn syrup in the fuel tank, they can just pull the string.
with out the funnel, the syrup will not make it to the tank.
Good video for thieves. to access the hidden gas opener. What's the reason you have to have that nozzole .
What si the Invoice prive for that specific truck blue fx4
I have a 24 402A 150 Tremor. I’m still in the blue cruise trial period , but I already have it turned off. I did try it and it works , but not my thing. We are doing a 2” level kit here soon so hopefully it will be ok. If you think I may have an issue PLEASE let me know.

Yes you can ford pass app online not on the actual app will tell you
So dumb Ford got rid of the keypad
what size lift kit is that and what brand also what size tires
How hide keypad in fuel door if it’s locked?
Thanks for giving me more reasons to never want to buy a new truck!!!!
With the help of Forscan, you can add global windows up. At least the older models you can. I've done it on multiple 13th gen F150s and 21-23 14th gen F150s.
Great looking truck. Looking to get one in 2025. What model is your truck?
TCcustoms - Does this Truck in the video have a Leveling Kit or a Lift ?
I hate that fold down compartment under the rear seat. One of the best things about the F-150 has been a complete flat floor. That POS fold down sucks & your floor is no longer 100% flat. Tell FORD to get rid of that!
What exact lift kit and tire/wheel setup is on that truck? I have a 2022 platinum powerboost that I want to lift.
Tell your pops to lose the heavy foot, im 25mpg and not even trying. So easy with the powerboost.
i got a question how is the mpg of the powerboost with that suspension and tired setup?
Has there been any changes from the 24 to 25 RCSB????
Please tell me I'm missing something here... So if I dont have that 10c plastic funnel and run out of gas, not even AAA will be able to give the truck some gas? So now I have to spend an exuberant amount to tow it to a gas station? That sounds like a design flaw not a hidden feature.
i would think a long narrow funnel would serve same purpose. AAA should have funnels on their trucks.
GMC look at how easy those seats fold down on that nice truck.
what wheel size and make are those and what size tires and make
“You push this button…and it automatically opens” 😂
Was this not a ‘25 in the video? Must’ve been a ‘24 because of the high gloss keypad?
Are you going to a video hidden features for the super-duty trucks
You may be on to something...
On my 24 ranger you can bring up the windows by doing what you did to bring down the windows
the keypad is handy but with the ability to unlock from your phone, not having it is a non issue in my opinion.
Except for when your vehicles in deep sleep mode for battery conservation FordPass and your cell phone will not activate it at least it has not on mine
Yes but you can’t lock it with the keys inside like with the key pad
The best way to turn of the Seat Belt reminder is to put your seatbelt on
What about the Auto parking? Did they bring it back or they still killed it?
Killed it. They do have the reverse brake assist. And forward brake assist. That will apply the brakes if you’re about to hit something when trying to park.
Looks better than the Superduty, too.
I really don't like the fact that they're discontinuing the exterior keypad! To me that has what set for it apart from all the other makes. And I believe it's not just the F-150 but it's the entire f-series line including the super duty.
What kind of wheels are on this f150?
Can you get a 6 foot bed on an F-150?
I shut off my seat belt dinger on every vehicle i have ...on my truck i did it before I left the dealership lot
How?
The seat belt stops ding after about 10 minutes on my 2024
So i have the blue cruise i can't put a leaving kit on my tremor
I did re subscribe for it after the 90 days
What?!? All this time I thought you were showing a 2025 model. I was actually impressed with the dealer install key code until you said it was going to go in the paint.
anybody know is E85 coming back for the 5.0 in 2025 ?
is that stock suspension?
Are you telling me that I can’t lift my new 2025 Ford F150 Powerboost Lariat I ordered because it has blue cruise??
ford pass also shares info with insurance company to ensure you pay the premium for enjoying a quick truck
Can I order a manual trans?
Just a salesman’s pitch !
@ 6:00 You are 6 foot three and can't spell seatbelt !!!! ..That Unit that TC lifted is perfect 🙃
@ 0:45 If a person had a cap less fuel funnel could they steal your gas (If they know the door latch cable ) Those funnels are cheap I think they can steal the gas
My wife wants to go back to a Ford specifically for the keypad. Come on Ford.
Some information says they are not going to use real leather on most or all,, 2025 ford vehicles.
4:55 yeah ford realized they can charge you more for less features and pass on NONE of the savings to the consumer. It’s almost as if they don’t want my business as a customer with a 50k BASE MODEL TRUCK
Why is Ford still using radio external antennas?
Rural areas
Also sensor for parking garages
One more thing because Ford can collect data, when they sell this data to your insurance company. The insurance companies raise your rates or DROP you all together, if you disconnectedthe seat belt chime. This is one of the control FORD!! has over its customer. Not good .... Not good!
Seriously?
Features? More like problems
Diagnostic info should be available to the owner😂
It is online just not the app
@ that’s nice
I thought Ford had a patent and or copyright on the key pad?
If the features are hidden then how do you know they are there?
Song name?
Does the backseat come down in a ford Maverick or no?
6:59 - Wow, all that tech and no simple option in the fancy display to turn off a reminder. Proof that Ford just doesn’t get it.
Have you ever heard this annoying sound…cut to commercial 🤦♂️ hahahahahah. Beautiful truck!
Glad my 24 F350 has the keypad they made a mistake with that for sure. I had no idea about the Steelership being able to have access to my ford app!! Can't wait to hear on the news how a Ford worker stalked some pretty woman using it! Privacy I say...
I agree!!
For Phone your Ford system answers the calls very easily.
2021 Limited Powerboost user here with 80k miles. Absolutely no difference to the 21 model apart from a grill, headlight and small ui changes to the infotainment.
as a sticker that is going to fly off while driving, lol
I hate that seat belt reminder bell.. That's great you can turn it off
Whats not hidden is the high price.
I have never even known my door code. 🤷♂️ I've never used it.
Aren't the 2025 features the same as the 2024
I just can't get myself to like this lower trim level front end no matter how much I try
That is a 2024 f150... still has the key pad, and you can no longer get that color combination for 2025...atleast according to build and price.
Not a fan of the PowerBoost.
I like the EcoBoost.
Hey Ford , if you’re watching this video put the keypad back on all vehicles .
So many reasons not to buy a new F150
getting rid of the key pad is totally stupid. I use mine all the time
