What a noob 🎉😂😂😂
I'm glad that I only did the Tail once because I was dragging my 750 Suzuki's footrests on some of the corners. I would have killed myself if I had pushed it anymore. It was a beautiful ride though.
Question. Looking into supermotos. 6-7k point me in the right direction
@@nickarnold8417 right on! Hope you are doing well and hope to see yah at the tail this summer! So 6-7k is gonna be in the mid tier sumos. Which i think is a great happy medium for power and fun. It might have to be slightly used depending on what you get but can definitely find super clean examples for tht price point. Not including power mods in budget for the bike. I think if you go with something smaller than these you wont be happy with power coming from bigger bikes. -First option the price is unconfirmed but the new drz coming out would be killer option being fuel injected and potentially killer if you wanted to throw some videos on it for the tube. As it will be a highly desirable bike. Tht being said it might be pushing more of 7.5k to 8k mark i suspect. -The drz400 sm out now is another good option tried and true. Only have a couple draw backs being shift shaft seal leak being a common issue can be replaced without pulling engine or splitting cases so not terrible fix. Sub frame weld cracked on our buddies but i suspect that was a fluke. Power is respectable with the big 3(pipe,jets, and airfilter). I would recommend these mods on all the bikes I list. These should able to snag up new in tht price range with everyone wanting the new gen. - next is a slightly used xr650l requires converting but allows you to have two bikes essentially (dual sport and sumo) with fast 30min-1hr rim swaps. I figure new sumo rims are about 1k-1.5k with tires. Depending on what brand you go with. Dad has excel rims laced to oem hubs tht he got from procycle.us/model/honda/xr650l/wheels?srsltid=AfmBOorcxgCZEqXSRZ_3ZNbwlclfY9JrmWPM0y9xDCnTlvNoNP7fY1Yz That is the best option in terms of fitment and durability. Warp 9 are good but my list of brands goes warp9<excel talon<oem Pig is more torque a true thumper but does feel heavier compared to the smaller drz. - cheapest option if you arent worried about power is converting a crf300l. This will be the worst at wheelies and not a thriller in terms of power but holds it own at the tail. I started on the crf250l tht we converted and even though it didnt have the power it was super fun to fling around the tail. Was the bike tht wee let others ride and everyone tht rode the bike ended up buying a supermoto shortly after lol. Dont think itll be a great option just based off power. Id say the same for kawis 300sm. -last option can be found for $7k but in stock form requiring more money to build to sm but would be my crf450l. Crazy enough ive seen lots on marketplace. For 7k low miles but its not a great bike for anything other than the tail. The drz and xr650l are great all around bikes from cruising to the canyons carvers. The 450 is a raw race bikes 600mile oil changes. Extremely jumpy and extremely picky on gearing(sprockets). I love the power and only ride it at the tail and backroads so its my favorite but to be honest id be more interested in the drz or xr650l. Final thoughts the drz current gen is great for simplicity no conversion/wheel swap easiest to find super clean or new in tht price range. Nimble feels light weight. New gen drz will be hard to get a deal on, mods willl take time to come out and unknown power increases but reduced maintenance being fuel injected over the xr650l and the current gen drz. Xr650l is a beast have 17k miles on ours and only issue we had which we just ran into was the cdi. Simple swap and easy valve adjustments. If you arent worried about power or wheelies the klx300 sm is a great cool bike no conversion needed🤘🏼😎🤘🏼if you got any other questions let me know!
I can’t get the 5mm Hex bolts off I’ve tried everything
The Dragon, by far, is not the most technically difficult road to ride. However, like any road with twisties, the rider needs to keep their speed within the limits of the bike, their own riding abilities and the condition of the road. Exceed any one or combination of the three and you stand a very good chance of biting the dust. Fortunately, the rider who went down was able to walk away from this mishap.
Well stated! Completely agree
Cant hear the vet have the your word for it
I plan on getting the Navi, adding a windshield to increase top speed and putting a 1-2 liter container of gas in the storage so I won't be worried about finding a gas station immediately.
Yeah speed limiit 30 mph. Your speedometer shows what? You are all fools. And you know what happens to fools!
Sweep it into the road why dont ya
@@JeremiahBrown-l4o haha 🤣I shoveled it off the road after
Almost as fun as SuperJets 😎
Don't be a bark eater. Save it for the track day.
What a idiot
Nice brotha, I think we got the exact same outside of the bottom bumps and sides haha. I got black and red too
It’s easier to lay under the car and go through the left side instead of taking that weather guard off. If you have the grip strength it’s way easier to go through the left side of the axel by the control arm
@@aestheticbrady appreciate the tip ill give it a try next oil change!
i just got a gold chain for my tracer 7 with same colour wheels to and black sprocket not put on yet that looks sick for that little thing lol
On one side we have poop 💩 and on the other side we have major poop 💩 😅
If you get chunky tires it'll be like dropping another tooth in the front, yeah? Probably wanna stick with the 16t Ehhhh immediately after posting that I realized that's the opposite of true lmao. Maybe you SHOULD use the 15 if you get chunky tires.
Assuming you didn’t need to take a link out of the chain when going to smaller front sprocket correct? In your opinion would there be enough forward adjustment in the swing arm to remove a link when changing to 16 tooth? Thx for the 150 content.
I’m literally just getting into motorcycles within the past few days I’ve been doing research here and there on which one to get and I’d like to know why only the Navi is an automatic and the grom isn’t?
@@scottfromboston4957 I think its to hit different markets the navi hits more of the scooter enthusiasts or for someone looking to just hop on an go “grocery getter”/commuter but has the looks of more traditional motorcycle. While grom more for someone looking for something tht drives like a traditional motorcycle. Maybe for them to start out on learning or someone looking for a new cheap toy tht they can take out. If you getting into motorcycle and want to advance to larger bikes in the future the grom is a good fit. It gives you the familiarity of shifting and is more sporty feel. Id say it’s like a navi being a toyota camry and grom a toyota gr86. If your familiar with cars they kinda hit different markets. While neither bike is fast the navi comfortable great little cruiser, grom more focused sportiness, handling and performance
I followed your video to remove the screen, thanks! Super simple. I wanted the improved airfow while retaining the stock airbox and filter. Second reason for the screen removal was to be able to visually check that the carb to airbox boot was not allowing air in on the outside of the boot. I have an aftermarket exhaust, so I didn't have to do that mod. My XR is running great with no bog, hesitation or surging using a PZ27 carb and the mods I just mentioned.
😂😂😂😂😂what you get
I took my first off-road ride on a XR150l yesterday. It seems people are always bitching about the lack of power on these bikes, but I found the XR to be more than adequately capable in first through forth gear on rocky dirt terrain. I even did some technical stuff on a washed out unmaintained road, turning back only because of a mini glacier covering the path uphill. The bike is way more capable than my Honda Trail (although that bike has it's own charms). The clutch is smooth and responsive. On-road, the bike handles potholes and sewer covers well, accelerates going uphill, and keeps ups just fine with traffic on secondary roads. Forget steep hill climbs and other suicidal behaviors, and the bike is a fantastic value from Honda.
Balance not bounce be careful.
Several flashes of the speedometer show them doing 55 and 56 mph on a 30 mph road. Riders like these give other rider a bad rap.
Nice! I can't wait till 2025.
I assume the front brake fluid level was the result of the crash?
I have an STX. I just don't see the value spending $60,000 more. $90,000 for that truck is absolutely insane.
I live just a few miles from "The Dragon." It eats fools every year.
Hi, may I feature your video on our channel? You will be credited
Yes 👍🏼
Hell yea brother. I’m gonna sell my kx125 soon for an xr650 I think
Right on! Xr650 is a beast! Kx125 cool too tho!
@ love my two stroke but I don’t ride it that much right now so I’d rather have a dual sport and get a dirt bike again when I’m free more🤘🏼
What's the approximate 0-30 time?
Can't take you seriously with those goofy sunglasses inside.
Naw just dethatching that grass . She will grow even better in the spring
The ditch saved the rider...
pond aeration 101 😄👌🏼
Buy niether! Get the Monkey or ST125.
Looks exactly like my back yard 😂
Haven’t had mine in snow THAT deep yet, but it performs as I expected! Haha we need a pair of Maxxis 4-snows each then we can hook.
@@HiTecRedneck92 haha heck yah those tires would be fun to try!
Bro I was riding in the snow and I think with a 450 u might of done some minor damage, but that’s a sick quad bro keep ripping it
Heck yah! Appreciate it! More to come 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼 snow makes for some of the best ripping
Ya know the funny thing is, is with the right rider that supermoto bike would absolutely wax that sport bike through the dragon!!!
Damm lucky there wasn’t more traffic. Race on the track. 😢
Use your coat to brush the marbles off the road.
Thank you for your support. Glad you had a great time.
What kind of interference would there be if you rotated that little rubber snorkel? Could point it straight up.
Thanks man what a good video people will benefit with your information
Wow Brad a gold Wing then navi now that makes me think about buying navi I'm 68 now to sit on a bike no clutch no gears local riding 45 50 mph that's good for me a50 cc jto slow 30 mph and dangerous briton 30 speed limit for new riders what would be speed limit usa I would like to know thanks
lund is the only tuner for coyotes
And The Dragon gets another meal. When will people learn that stupid hurts?
New sub Definitely waiting to check tuner video bc I’m looking into it…..livernoise or Oz I found so far
My only issue with the app is that I cannot do zone lights I mean as a camper that was a bragging rights
The aftermarket RAS road active suspension will prevent wheel hop in the rear while not towing & prevent sag while not towing won't hurt to look at also love the truck love the color & V8 is the way to go just use premium oil & stay on top of oil changes & your good for a long time owning it
