5 albums selling over 11 million units in US and Canada alone, in constant rotation for years on Mtv and radio, and Hall of Famers is underrated? What does one need to do to get rated anyway? 😁
Mike Reno(the singer) does a duet with Ann Wilson(the singer from Heart) called Almost Paradise. A great power ballad for the movie Footloose. Check it out!
I heard Almost Paradise on Satellite radio the other day, love that song....but I had forgotten that Mike Reno was the Loverboy front man. Powerful voice....man the 80's were fun.
Working for the weekend, loving every minute of it, heaven in your eyes (from top gun), hot girls in love, the kid is hot tonight. Those are some more of their songs to check out. Especially the kid is hot tonight.
All great suggestions. Mike Reno has kept his voice. Still sounds great after all these years. Saw a recent interview with him and he seems very down to earth.
Loverboy was a very popular 80's band from Vancouver, Canada. Mike Reno's vocals are absolutely INSANE. Working for the Weekend, This Could be the Night, and Almost Paradise (his duet with Ann Wilson from Heart for the Footloose movie) are ALL amazing songs to check out. There is another fantastic Canadian band called Triumph that you have to check out as well. Would love to see your reaction to their official video for Lay it On the Line. Can't remember if you've done it already.

This is one of my favorite bands! My brother who past away from cancer would listen to this band. He past away in 1989 he was 21. I have this in my car listing to it today!
