I haven't heard this in ages. It was a HUGE hit my senior year of high school.
Most of the time when you venture out to "Find yourself" you find yourself back where you started. It wasn't so bad after all. The grass isn't always as tasty on the other side of the fence. Great tune.

What a tremendous song by Loverboy. Definitely my favourite. Takes me back to university days. This was played at every party. Not sure if you’ve reacted to Working For The Weekend but that should be next.

I'm 65 yrs old, and it brings a smile to my face and a tear to my eye when I see young people enjoying music that I grew up on and have been listening to for the past 40 or 50 years.
Great Canadian band that I as a Canadian have loved forever.First time I ever saw lasers at a concert was one of their's.Paul Dean,a great guitar player and Mike Reno 's soaring voice made this band successful.They are great live too and seen them twice live.

Loverboy singer Mike Reno and guitarist, Paul Dean kicked of the 8o's with this great record. It still ranks as one of their best with songs like THE KID US HOT TONITE and my personal favorite, LADY OF THE 8o's. Another great video by them full of fun and nonsense is the blast of HOT GIRLS IN LOVE. Get after these and other songs by Loverboy.
These guys were all over the radio when I was a kid in the late 70’s and 80’s. It’s one of the first rock bands I really remember but even at 8 years old I recognized they sounded amazing. Nobody really sounds like these guys but they are so well produced. U guys were feeling that especially at the end.

Rest in peace Steve Smith the key board player for LoverBoy who was swept overboard in the Pacific coast off of California and his body was never found or recovered.

I went to one of their concerts. The opening band was the Hooters! Great band! Check them out! Too much time elapsed between the bands. I was on the floor which was packed from the stage to the back. Everyone started pushing forward and then people started pushing back. A lot of people were passing out and they picked them up and everyone helped to get them out. I was so scared but when Loverboy came out it calmed down. They were totally awesome from start to finish!

I first saw these guys when they were the opening act for another Canadian band called Prism. They were fantastic and this was off their first album. Huge song!

I don’t know if you can do it on the air but the official video of Lovin’ Every Minute of It is one of the funniest videos I have ever seen. It shows how even as one of the big boys they still want to have fun.
Mike Reno was first named Mike Renowski from a nearby town called Penticton
Saw them live wen this came out in Boston gardens...opening act was Sammy hagar
Loverboy had some great songs- and lead singer had some good solo stuff including a duet that went to movie Footloose with Ann Wilson of Heart called "Almost Paradise"

I saw them with Journey in 1981. They were great! I think I may have liked them better than Journey & Journey was my favorite band at the time. The singer was also in a band called Moxy.
Every time I hear this song I think of fast and furious. After Brian’s car explodes and they arrive at the party Vince is playing this on guitar
