Hi. Thank you for the video. I have a question regarding my car. I have BMW x1 2018. I would like to know if I can set up to start my car try my bmw app?
You're welcome, glad you enjoyed! You would have to check if it's an available service via the ConnectedDrive store. You can do this through the MyBMW app.
You mentioned registration with the first point (compensator). Mine doesn't work quite well.... Do I need to register somewhere..? I'm in Europe. Thanks
I'm not sure how it may be different in Europe, but you would register it through your wireless service provider. If you call them, they should be able to give you the proper steps. To be frank though, I'm not sure if this feature exists in non-NA market cars, as features do vary quite a bit from market to market. But, that's how it works in the USA at least.
wow....a plethora of vids on the net about "hidden features" you didn't know about your BMW but this one was impressive. As a car enthusiast and X7 M50i owner I was pleasantly surprised. 4 out of 5 I did not know. Thank you for posting.
Tip #4: ice/snow - is it possible to start the window defrost from my office 10” before I head to the parking lot so that ice is already loose and melting?
The remote start/pre-ventilation function will activate whatever climate settings were active when the car was last turned off. So yes, just leave the defroster on when you turn the car off, then when you remote start it, the defroster will turn on.
hi I have an x5 g05, I don't understand why every time I open my sunroof it doesn't open completely, it opens but leaves a little bit more where I have to press again because it just opens the last bit
The voice command to roll down my window did not work in my 2020 X3 XDRIVE30E with I drive 7 ☹️. The car responded with something like that feature is currently unavailable try again later.
I just bought my first BMW this year, a X6 2024. I love the car but what shocking to me was that the wireless charger is NOT fit for the big iPhones (Max), yet in 2024. It does not align properly with it and it just heats up the phone a lot and does not charge it. Very disappointing.
WHO didnt knew the Windows thing? Common pleaseeee 😂😂😂 tottaly dump. To call this a hidden Feature is so lamé. If you don’t have enough good Quality Content for TH-cam close your Channel instead of putting more data Trash to the Internet
It is really a helpful video. I just bough a used Bmw X1 and I think your videos are easier to remember that the users guide.
Glad you found the video helpful!
The sunroof feature is good to know, been having a glitching sunroof will try it out
Good luck!
New 1st time BMW owner. All new to me. Great video.

Awesome, that's the goal! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Does the signal cell booster work when a non wireless phone is placed in the charging tray?
Thanks for the sun visor trick

I like the auto roll down window feature at a given location.
It can be a nice thing to have, even if totally redundant with the standard window switches.
Iphone 13 is not charging on the wireless docking station. I have to use a usb cable but the bluetooth carplay is working.
Is there a voice command to just roll all the windows down a very small amount say if you want to allow a little airflow when parked on a hot day.
Yes! You can either tell the Personal Assistant to roll the window down completely, or halfway.

That is by design -- for wind noise. The theory is that wind noise is minimized when the sunroof opens only to that first point.
BMW X5 passenger side rearview mirror without anti-glare?
Thanks for sharing

It may not work on all models or in all countries. Certain countries have different regulations regarding what voice control can and can't do.
Hi,
Can I program the bmw, voice; to sound like Darth Vader?
Your videos are great.
All the best,
Shaun 🦉of NYC 🗽
not sure, but may the force be with you
😅Thanks , appreciate it
you can now use voice control to close windows.
Thanks
I did not know the sunroof reset.

So why would you roll down your windows by pressing, talking and waiting for it to understand instead of just pressing a single button? Haha
Well, you probably wouldn't, to be honest :) But it's a neat feature nonetheless.
Tesla Owners would be confused by your question... lol.
You don’t need press a button before giving a voice command. This is useful for blind drivers.
Love knowing this. Thank you!
@@scooter5940 blind drivers allowed to drive? Which planet??😂😂😂
With the windshield wipers he’s wrong because on the 3 series you have to press the start button into accessory mode and then hold it up not down.
It may vary slightly model to model... thanks for pointing that out!
Too many technical gadgets..just drive the bloody thing

I had no idea my car could do that. I learned something today. You're wrong....and also an a**hole
