But when I was looking for a car I looked at the x5 and the gle and I went with the x5 because it had more standard safety features and the car Is over all better in my opinion. Only complaint is the Digital gauge cluster is brighter in the gle then it is in the x5. Hope this helps.

Can you go into reverse without pushing the button in on the gearstick? Can you force the gear stick into reverse or do you have to push the button in at the same time.

Hey Kelsey, love your videos. I just got a 2022 X4 and every time I press the air recirculation button it automatically turns off after a couple of minutes and lets fresh air in. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Thanks...
Thanks Kelsey wish dealers in the UK did this, very useful especially as haven't owned a BMW for some years and have new one on order, X5 45e due next month. Question, on the individual driver assistance settings, is that particular to your key so might the 2 key holders have 2 settings which default to that configuration when the car is operated by the particular key?
That’s a great question! I believe so but you’d have to try it out. I do know that things like mirrors are saved to the key but I haven’t tried the Driving Assistant features.
Thank you for the video. Really helpful. It’s my first BMW and I love. I have a question though, I tend to spend my lunch hour in the car (not turned on) and the lights inside take somewhere from 15min-30 mins to turn off. Is there a way to turn off manually? I feel my battery might drain if I continue to do this 5 days a week.
Kelsey , had a question, I have the BMW X5 40i . I see the street shown at the bottom of the dashboard all the time, even though I haven't turned navigation on. Can you please tell me how to turn the internal gps off
lol we love our new X5 2021 45e this was helpful, maybe you can do video on the hybrid? We need to go to the dealer and sit with the genius but we are working a lot and buying a house. A video would be 👍🏾 hybrid 45e!
It's actually not able to be adjusted anymore. 2021 models have something called a 48v mild hybrid system that removed that function to better support the batteries

Online it says x5 can upgrade to air suspension， but I do not see that option anywhere on the bwm website for x5. Any ideas? I heard it adds a lot of comfort

The brake is opposite up to turn it on “set parking brake” down to release it.
The reason the phone charging pad is either horizontal or vertical depends on whether the vehicle has the heated/cooled cup holders or not.
Not necessarily
My moms with the heated an cooled cup holders has it horizontal.
My 2021 has the pad vertical but wireless charging became no longer available I was told

I'd say maybe leave the car off? The lights turn off to avoid battery drain so i wouldn't worry too much

Functionality should be pretty similar country to country but I could be wrong. What additional information are you looking for?
