had the same, but one of the mounts had also sheered of the outer drum leaving a nice hole for it to dump the water out of. Unable to repair two of the mounts, I used Tiger-seal to glue the broken mount back on, then used the rest of the tube to glue the whole concrete onto the drum and used the good two screws to hold it in place till tiger-seal went off, 24hrs later, first wash, no leaks, no banging. love tiger-seal, £10 fix.

@@gerroljalving best of luck buddy. The good news is my unit has held up since I did this fix.

I have the same problem. One screw snapped in half, the one half of the acre is still screwed in. What’s you end up doing?

I ended up cleaning up the battered screw holes with a soldering iron (plastic welding is an art) and ordered a replacement counterweight. you’re gonna need to extract that broken screw from the plastic. I’d have to see what you got with my own eyes to advise properly

Ever since I got a new counterweight and carefully opened up and reshaped the screw holes I’ve not had a problem. I did reduce the speed on the spin cycle.
