Good review my brother! I have the same car 2010 gs350 that’s all wheel drive for the brutal winters in north east America. My wife loves this car and gets compliments to this day on it. We got 125,000 miles on it and bought it used back in ‘17 with 81,000 miles on it. It’s a tank in the snow! We love the car so much. I just don’t think we’ll ever get rid of it especially how much new cars cost now. I’ve never bought a new car in my life. Too much money. Glad you like your car and enjoying it . @@omigiekiel5968 Lexus GS 350 is a cross between the IS and the ES so it is an Executive car so their brakes are not harsh as not to discomfort the passenger at the back but it works well not just harsh like that of a toyota where everyone will move front and back again. If you love to maintain cars and not a harsh driver the GS 350 will work well. I bought mine in 2020 for about 3.8Million when dollars was nice unlike now sha and mine is a 2011 so it is more recent. the only thing I have changed so far are just the plugs, originals brakes are still there. I will recommend the car for a lover and not a fighter.

The hump at the back seat is due to the rear wheel drive shaft, not the exhaust. I love everything about the car except I would have loved the wheel base to be a few inches shorter. That would have made it a bit sportier at turns and maybe reduce that handling challenge you mentioned when it's going into a slide. But lexus always puts comfort a bit above sportiness. Nice review by the way.
You might as well replace the shocks with the better Gas-a-just from Kyb as opposed to the stock excel-g. The Gas-a-just has a sportier and tighter feel, handles better around corners and is designed for higher loads. You get reduced comfort though, not as buttery as the stock.

The dahs board rattling can be cause due to the engine mount or the transmission mount tell your friend to check it out. They might be wearing out and need changing .
The break dose not disappoint i have v8 and it has never disappoint me for once and it move super great. I don’t think I will sell the car I will buy more car to it and use it for the weekend because the v8 sound is giving and when I said run it run😂 when I said slow it slow honestly I love it 😊
very great video i must say. firstly brakes are not dependent on the car itself but the quality of the brake disc and pads used and also a functional ABS and finally dashboard codes can all be cleared it has nothing to do with putting another ECU in the car they never start. When you see a dash light please get it fixed and i can tell you from my experience they can all be fixed.
@@uchenney i cant really say which is faster, didnt do a benchmark. The GS350 was long ago. Around 2015. Switched due to unavailability of parts then in my city.
Only problem with this car is the electric steering. Once you make a mistake and enter any deep pothole your steering will get stuck and you'll need to hit the mech workshop almost every single time

GS series was actually Lexus' answer to German midsize sport sedan offerings (BMW 5 series, Audi A6 and MB e class) hence the RWD & AWD llayout. Lexus IS and even ES series compete with entry level luxury sedans (3 series , c class, audi A4) and Lexus LS series are to take on the full size limos (7 series, S class, Audi A8 etc) But GS was not a sale success probably because it cannot match the handling of the germans or even Infiniti G35, 37 series also from Japan. Again, It's the same size as Lexus ES (ES has bigger trunk ironically) which is cheaper and value packed for the money. So it was finally dropped for ES which has midsize sedan size but Compact sedan pricing. It's actually the class sales leader for long.n entry level luxury class. As per the relatively expensive parts, when you buy ANY used luxury midsize car, you pay premium for the (premium) parts. That is the rule. For instance, GS headlight system has optional adaptive beam that follow the turn of your steering ES of that era does not. Crank and co, thanks for another great video.

This is why you can hold a conversation in the car going over 100mph ... For a vehicle built in 2007/8 it's fast enough to beat most modern cars .. Relentless in fact it just keeps going ... For quite an heavy car it handles ... Brakes ... And is incredibly safe .. You feel safe driving ... Saying that I've got the GS 460 ...it's the best vehicle I've ever owned .. Because I've got private plate my mates didn't believe it's a 2008 ...Dash layout little bit dated but the rest of the car is quite modern ... Highly recommend if you can get one . This guy in the video knows exactly what he is taking about ... Great review . Common faults reported only on the GS 460 . 4.6 Engine recall bad batch of valve springs . Mine was fixed by Lexus .. no charge ... Apparently the brake module fault. ?? Back door have sealed hinges which get stiff . Tyre TPMS ... Valve pressure monitoring system very sensitive.. Had problems on mine . People moaned about height sitting in the back ... Simple solution don't let anyone sit in the back ...😅 Also did you know it plays DVDs . God's know why Lexus fitted a cassette player .... Must if had thousands of old players so they just chucked them in .lol

Weird my 2011 3GS 350 AWD has Bluetooth media meaning I can play music on the cars stock system via Bluetooth however you can only have a max of 2 devices in the cars memory😂

“brakes”. I used the 2006 GS300 at considerably high speeds (along Ogoni road, Lagos to PH, even in the rain at 180 km/h) and my brakes worked excellently well and sudden stops. Expensive parts is so so true. Bonnet was 150k in 2020

I travelled alot with mine and never experienced it(brake fails or vibrations when trying to come to a stop from about 180km/h). especially on Ogoni road & East-west road the car and brakes never dissapointed. Only issue i had was when i changed all tires and the shop tampered with the Rear camber and it kept damaging the tire, untill and good alignment shop (Mobil on Peter Odili road) had it properly realigned before i returned to Lagos
Chief it's not the exhaust oo. It's the rear wheel drive shaft that's always in that bump.. I love your videos sha, just thought you should know.. Lexus GS is like the es but for rear wheel drive

I had the GS350 AWD, nice car overall. switched to an ES350 later on... Both equally very solid cars

Dude I respect you and honestly love the work you do here but I’m not happy with the full review about this gs350 because I own one…..not everything are correct

I used the 2006 GS300 at considerably high speeds (along Ogoni road, Lagos to PH, even in the rain at 180 km/h) and my brakes worked excellently well and sudden stops.
Expensive parts is so so true. Bonnet was 150k in 2020
Sorry to ask what he said about the brakes is it true? I mean the brakes fails at high speed?
@@omigiekiel5968 Not in my experience tho! I travelled alot with mine and never experienced it(brake fails or vibrations when trying to come to a stop from about 180km/h). especially on Ogoni road & East-west road the car and brakes never dissapointed.
Only issue i had was when i changed all tires and the shop tampered with the Rear camber and it kept damaging the tire, untill and good alignment shop (Mobil on Peter Odili road) had it properly realigned before i returned to Lagos

Chief it's not the exhaust oo. It's the rear wheel drive shaft that's always in that bump.. I love your videos sha, just thought you should know.. Lexus GS is like the es but for rear wheel drive
