Easiest way to know a pre facelift W212 they're mostly upgraded with AMG KIT LED/EXNON headlights, AMG bumper and quad exhaust. Also the quarter panel lines are straight and aligned with the back door in the facelift models while the pre facelift are curved downwards on the back door.

Nice Job Crank! I just wanted to make a call out here. Mercedes requires some service levels e.g service level A, B or C. If you follow them, you will not experience most or all these issues Crank has mentioned. If for any reason you cannot verify the service level the car has been on, make sure to change the transmission oil by an approved Benz mechanic once you purchase the car.
Keep in mind that you maintenance of E- class is way cheaper than repairs.

About the number’s the e350 from 2018 is a turbo 4cylinder. The e500 isn’t a v8 anymore it’s now an e450 with a 3.0l straight six

Trying to get one, it goes for between 5-6m. But 2010, 2011 of the third generation could be close to the 7m.
@@kennyxxora5098 late 2014, 8-10m as at 2020 goes for way higher now, very different from the 2010-2013 pre face lift too, if it’s upgraded it’s not too visible to the not-so-into-cars eye lol.

I think the best way to decide the old one that’s upgraded from the new face lifted is the engine. It uses a m272 engine. The 2013 uses the m276 black engine

@@234drive it’s more like a sleeper not so raw and fast and they just discovered the cyclinder scoring issues on MB forum happens to be that issues with the m276 engine was a Oil Pump Solenoid sensor that Mercedes installed their self from the factory to increase economy but the disadvantage was that due to the fact it controls the oil pump and the oil pump in turns controls the camshaft cyclinder scoring was seen most time as well and oil leaking which in turns gets to the ECU and also damages it many removed the sensor and they car runs much fine and responds even quicker than anticipated just check out Exotic cars DIY he also did the mod on his e63 amg the w212 model
