Ok. Gonna go a bit out on the limb here. About the movie "Last Temptation of Christ," I have never seen it, and I do firmly believe in the Christian faith. But, i also know there are instances in the Bible that directly say that Jesus was tempted, "Yet without sin." Which to me, gives the movie a right to be viewed by anyone that desires it so long as the description is accurate. As far as the concept of Jesus having "second thoughts," I personally find that more admirable than if He did everything with no thought or consideration. Sort of like how you feel about your super hero when you know they could have just left you to die, and been better off, but flipped fate the bird and decided, "Im doing it anyway." Also: I enjoy your videos, bro. You have a good sense of humor and a quirky, unconventional way to explain things. Keep up the good work 👍

Life of Brian didn’t even poke any fun at Jesus himself (although it did make fun of the concept of religion, but not Christianity itself), and it just mainly focused on Brian. I’m Catholic, and I can’t believe these Christian groups got offended easily.
Didn't expect American Sniper to be on here, but I can see why a movie involving the misinformation that was anything Chris Kyle talked about himself, while from the viewpoint of an invading and occupying force would go about as well over as trying to sell a movie involving the Wermacht in Polish theaters.

It ends rather somberly as He's the one who must lead them to "the showers". It was actually withheld by the U.S. Govt. where's it's been for over 50 years.

The difference between Maus and the rest is that it’s based on actual events, yeah it’s about mice and cats and it probably dramatized but still people lived through those evil experiences and we can’t forget that, that’s why I think portraying them and cats and mice is better because it takes some of that edge off
I kind disagree with the "American Sniper" view. Why would anyone ban that movie? We in Nigeria love that movie so much, now I want to watch it again. Every kid my age watched it (I'm 23 now). I can't wait to see my friends reactions when I tell them it's been banned in some countries 😂
Fun Fact: Human Centipede actually is a trilogy ✅
That's not the plot of Life of Brian. He doesn't get confused for Jesus at all. He's just an ordinary guy who suddenly has a load of fanatical followers chasing after him.
I watched the movie and loved it, did not knew it was banned.
Same here, I watched it and I didn't realize it was a banned movie either, I thought it was funny
My mum wouldn’t have anything Python in the house as they blasphemed. Yay! This was in the UK in the 90s, as with all the things she hated (primarily The Simpsons) I just watched it at someone else’s house. She was the epitome of why ratings work over censorship.
@@katashworth41 sorry to hear that. I really got Lucky, even if I live in Brasil which is a very polemic place for everything, especially religion, my family is actually very open minded with religion, which is odd because I am high Middle class which tend to be really conservatives. My mom is the most religious of my family, and although we used to argue a lot because I became atheist, after some time we agreed to each leave the other believe in whatever they want. And that worked perfect, she is catholic, my brother believes in god but disagrees with most religion institutes, my grandfather which is my closest person in life even I dont know his exact religion (I think he believes but could not give a fk about the rest, and mostly cares about being a good family and business man even if he is 80+ years old, seriously the man is impressive to the point that even after widowing my mom got him an excelent gf that everyone loves) and my father (the one who shows life of brian and other blasphemies) is a budhist/agnóstic, and my stepmother is jewish. Seems research was just done by looking at headlines, so the surface level movies (Pink Flamingo and Temptation of Christ) were fine while others that were iffy seem just poorly described
Honestly, probably AI. At least the art seems original, from what I can tell.
The movie Cannibal Holocaust is actually more about the horrendous acts committed by the filmmakers against the tribe, such as raping, murdering, and burning down houses to get a reaction from the natives.
Not only that but the animal deaths in the movie are real.

The idea of Christ having mundane desires isn’t what’s blasphemous, it’s the idea that He would seriously consider rebelling against God the Father. It’s less about the superhero taking a nap and more about retconning that superhero to be a fundamentally different person with different thoughts, desires, and allegiances

AS was a fantastic Clint Eastwood film. While it’s controversial take on the war in the Middle East is something to take lightly. I think it’s the PTSD aspect that made the film more gut wrenching. He’s home, but a large part of him is still in the Middle East. It allows people to understand the stress and struggles that some Veterans face after leaving combat.
The most surprising thing is that MAUS was both in my public library and my school library😅
Sort of like how you feel about your super hero when you know they could have just left you to die, and been better off, but flipped fate the bird and decided, "Im doing it anyway."
Also: I enjoy your videos, bro.

They didn't, this script is AI generated and literally half of the video has incorrect info

There is actually one movie that was so offensive that it was banned before it was released: The Day the Clown Cried.
It's set in the early days of World War 2 and follows Helmut Doork, a once beloved circus clown who is now well past his prime. He's later arrested for making fun of Adolf, but manages to use his old skills to entertain the children within the concentration camps.

I feel like the movie didn't just show the US soldiers as "Brave men fighting for democracy and freedom!" and I feel like it definitely goes into detail about the struggles of being a soldier as well as questioning the morality of being in his situations
