Yeah, the dictator is bad. If you take into account the date of release, identity of the creator and the subject matter you will start to see it. It was basically a celebration of Gadaffi's horrible death. I watched American Sniper when it released to theaters and there were many emotional moments (as any good film of the same cloth has), but the part that got me was hearing the faint gunshot as the screen went black and Chris’s DOB/DOD faded in. The funeral procession scene was definitely tear worthy.

I LOVED The Gods Must Be Crazy when I was a kid (a million years ago... 😆). I can't believe it was banned. There was nothing offensive and very thought provoking as to the concept of ownership and how it can destroy a tight knit, peaceful community. So sad that so many people are so easily "offended." 🙄

One thing that you missed with Cannibal Holocaust is that the natives, which there were two groups who hunted one another, were abused and murdered by the film crew for violence within the universe of the film (IRL the natives were willing to go with the stunts which were fake ofc, although they did eat monkey brains and other animals as is their traditions). The young film crew agitated one of the tribes in hopes of sparking a conflict between the two for a dramatized exploration into the Amazon. However, the natives did not do this with one of the groups iirc hunting them down because of their atrocities. Burning down villages, hurting their livestock and other things you can't say on TH-cam. So it was not the natives which attacked initially but the film students who were trying to make a fake piece on the 'savagery' of tribal life of the Amazon.

I watched American Sniper when it released to theaters and there were many emotional moments (as any good film of the same cloth has), but the part that got me was hearing the faint gunshot as the screen went black and Chris’s DOB/DOD faded in. The funeral procession scene was definitely tear worthy.

I LOVED The Gods Must Be Crazy when I was a kid (a million years ago... 😆). I can't believe it was banned. I’ve seen pink flamingos and it’s not that bad or at least not that bad as everybody makes it out to be best way I could describe it is if you take all the worst most disgusting elements of the show South Park and you put them on steroids and you make a live action film centered around a drag queen. I am glad that I don't plan on watching that movie and I'm a guy who loves horror movies but there are some things even I won't go near just stick to watching that south park episode
One thing that you missed with Cannibal Holocaust is that the natives, which there were two groups who hunted one another, were abused and murdered by the film crew for violence within the universe of the film (IRL the natives were willing to go with the stunts which were fake ofc, although they did eat monkey brains and other animals as is their traditions). The young film crew agitated one of the tribes in hopes of sparking a conflict between the two for a dramatized exploration into the Amazon. However, the natives did not do this with one of the groups iirc hunting them down because of their atrocities. Burning down villages, hurting their livestock and other things you can't say on TH-cam. So it was not the natives which attacked initially but the film students who were trying to make a fake piece on the 'savagery' of tribal life of the Amazon.
