I totally agree. This whole thing feels like a 'did you know?' channel with yet another blown-up Reddit thread shoved into a single video. Also the fact that they're imaging 'autistic' as someone who's crazy/retarded. The whole video is childish and blatantly spamming (even outdated and debunked) 'facts' or western propaganda without mentioning sources, or trying to stay neutral about the information they're providing as entertainment. What people (and this channel) don't get about independent documentaries that even though they're coming from a single source; that doesn't mean the studio and/or person behind the camera isn't biased, secretly funded or spreading some kind of political message. I can agree that the Soviet people have suffered a lot in the development of their socialistic system. But calling the famine a tool to oppress said people is a crazy lie. As if Stalin himself came Ukraïne with a comically large spoon to eat all the grain in front of the starving children. The famine was a man-made one and partly due to the collectivization and unrealistic production-quotas the five-year plan brought forward. But it was also a result two droughts and Kulaks setting their own means of production on fire while keeping away grain to sell illegally, and not complying with orders because they obviously wanted the whole state-owned farm thing to fail. I recommend watching Hakim's video's for people unaware of some western lies about the horrible events that happened in China and the Soviet-Union. Because the information that this and many video provides about it is too black and white. Also please look up the telegram story between Sholokhov and Stalin. Even though the Union partly caused the famine doesn't mean that they wished for it to happen.
Hey @TheAnalystYt - this is a great piece of media. Having watched "threads", I've absolutely no desire to watch "the war game" or any of the other films here depicted - thanks to sating my curiosity whilst preserving my sanity. I would like to, however, object to the cartoon used to depict autism. ASD is probably broader than most would even attempt to depict in a single image, even inside the community there is hesitation to even use the infinity symbol or what colour it should be etc (though we all agree, nobody should use the puzzle piece). The video is done now, and there's over a thousand comments here, so the likelihood of you seeing this on a video this old are slim to none - but I would ask you to consider the human when depicting a condition that doesn't have "typical" expression, and how your depiction might shape public opinion if your viewers assumed that it was a true representation of a wide group of people. I'm a software engineer, my industry is full of people in the neurominority, they are passionate, talented and incredibly intelligent people - not at all the picture of the confused and dazed caricature you have shown. I find this to be offensive - which I don't put on you as a burden, clearly offense is not the intention, I just wanted to let you know that this is how I, an autistic person, felt about your depiction of me, my friends, my colleagues, and all other people that share this (not puzzle) piece of me. I urge you to reconsider in the future. Thank you for your consideration.
I'm sorry I don't have much to add, but I'd like to say that I agree with you wholeheartedly. I'm also Autistic, I don't always like the way we are portrayed in media, but I do understand that it's not that obvious who is or isn't Autistic, so getting someone who "shows" their Autism is the easier way to "give us the spotlight" so to speak. You've written up a comment that expresses the feelings of myself, and also many other Autistic people. I'm gonna info dump a little bit, and it's not really related, but given your really well written comment, I wanted to write SOMETHING in return. Don't mind me. Look, I don't personally get offended by things like this (it does bother me, but I don't allow myself to get caught up in it), it's hard for me to explain without coming across as insensitive to my fellow Autistic people, but to put it simply... I don't always relate to their issues, at least to the extent that they feel, if this makes sense. Sometimes I even think, "Am I even Autistic, I can't relate to that at all...?". But then I put socks on that a bit too wet, and I'm like, "GET THESE OFF OF ME.". So I certainly am Autistic, haha. Just because I don't always relate on the same level, it doesn't mean I don't relate a little bit. It's a spectrum, we're all different. I'm lucky enough to "fit in" for the most part, a lot of people even say "I had no idea you were Autistic!", which... Well, it's a good thing sometimes, I guess I mask it well, or maybe it really isn't that obvious to others. But at the same time, people can't SEE Autism, and it's not always obvious at first glance. Let me just say one thing in addition to the above... I ABSOLUTELY and STRONGLY believe in equality, respect and compassion. God knows the world needs more of these things. People could learn a thing or two from people on the spectrum, eh? To be honest, I don't know why I'm telling you all of this, feel free to disregard it. Lately, I've thought about the way I "fit in", and I've been trying to figure out what Autistic traits I have, etc. Despite having a diagnosis for 20 years, I haven't really given it much thought. Now that I work with people with disabilities, and have many friends with disabilities, I've been thinking about it more. I guess I'm having some kind of identity crisis, given how I think about where I want to be in life, gaining more independence, and just... living. You seem like a good person, that's why I've written up this essay. Apologies for the info dump, I'm very prone to that, I WONDER WHY, HMM... But yeah, thank you for such a great comment!
Fahrenheit is surprisingly entertaining. The guy has a good sense for film and if you don’t take it seriously there’s a lot of comedy. He should have leaned into the street interviews with weirdos.
As the video admits though, it was never banned in the US. It was largely debunked and everyone forgot about it. Moore made several "documentaries" and was once hailed for reinvigorating the genre by making them very entertaining. But to do so, mixed in a bunch of nonsense. Others have copied his gimmick. Those too were later found to be garbage. Such as "Supersize Me". Not until well after the filmmakers made their money.

Yeah, he uses this annoying AI script. If I took a shot for every simile or metaphor he uses I would die of intoxication by the second prompt.
very good video, but it would be better if autism wasn’t portrayed as “being crazy” :/
Zeitgeist should be banned because of how many inaccuracies it has.
If r/atheism was a movie
Its a great piece what are you guys talking about?
I love how you lot always try to discredit anyone or anything that shines a light on you and never provide proof of your claims.
@@matthew2478 when presented with evidence you call it "fake"

But yeah, thank you for such a great comment!
guys i never got vaccinated....im still autistic :(
Get vaccinated and you can level up
0:45 "ah yes, the land of the free"
The first movie didn't take place in America but good try
Average America hater not doing research
This Chat GPT script hurt my ears
How do you know it used chat GPT?
@@Ursi_ listen to the beginning of "The Soviet Story" and tell me if a sane human being that can put together such a list would assert Stalin and mustache man have been controversial since the beginning of time... it's not very noticeable for the most part, but still there
You can tell it is becuase it spams similes and metaphors, which ai does often

The Spook Who Sat by the Door is a 1970s movie that played in Chicago for three days and the feds confiscated it. It was about Black American Nationalism.
This has to be my current favorite TH-cam channel rn
Why? It’s literal slop
Hey great video and loved the metaphors!
Just a suggestion, can you narrate the videos in timelime order (like narrating the documentaries which are oldest first)
Dude really loves Similes and Metaphors...
It may not be banned just yet but europa the last battle is something every one should watch. Its 12 hours long and is full of reference books, quotes, surviors tales, scientific evidence, military personnel stories and many more things. It completely shatters 60 years of hollywood movies about a certain topic.
I like that he included a movie banned for a good reason at the end, to give some context
Having accurate renditions of real events be banned should be a wake up call. It's unreal what people can justify to themselves.
The word banned to you means not really banned but kinda hard to release.
Theirs like two versions, legal ban, and public ban, it's like when a video game gives you a soft ban, not outright ban, but a crippled leg.
Saying banned gets you more clicks
Who fucking cares. Go watch a different video then. Yall are insufferable. Thinking anyone including dude gives a shit about your take on his video. 😅😅😅😂😂😂😂
Peter Watkin's Culloden legitimately made me into a Scottish Nationalist
13:34 that autism photo is CRAZY, I hope we don’t look like that 😭
Great video but brother man these analogies every 5 mins are gonna hurt somebody

Hitler and Stalin shared Poland like college roommates sharing a pizza.
Vitaly Mansky skated on thin ice the entire time he filmed the documentary, but emerged with an Olympic gold medal
Saw The Act of Killing as part of a film class in college. One of the most horrific and yet compelling films I’ve ever seen.

I remember this shocking documentary called "Earthlings," which shows the grotesque killings of animals from various industries.
Perfect dcoumentary spree for Halloween! Thank you metaphor man :)

Indonesian here, I'm quite literally shocked that the dark ages of 1965 onward got in here. I have heard about "The act of Killing" controversy surrounding but in the end never got to hear more about it. But man 1965 onward was the most sensless violent years of this country that no one ever talked about even to this day long after Suharto already died.
Everyone remembered September of 65' but never anything following it.
The amount of metaphors makes this nearly unwatchable
I like how you get straight into the video with no intro or intrusive sponsor right at the beginning 👍
Half the movies aren’t actually banned lol
In the USA, most of these wouldn't be, but in other countries, they totally are.
The US is not the only country that exists, you know. If you watched the video that’s made pretty apparent.
The comparisons are out of this world :D
I'm surprised Zeitgeist was banned in Turkey since that's where I learned about it.

Nah your "errrrrrrm" shows the opposite
The Cove is crazy to see here, I remember being in middle school when that movie first released and they showed us the trailer but we never watched it. I always wondered exactly what it was about. I should finally watch it.
first time checking out the channel...this guy is the king of simile!
their are 3 zeitgeist movies, 2nd one goes over the federal reserve. the 1st one is just the tip of the iceberg so to speak.
Today i finally understood what south park was making fun of in the japan vs dolphins episode 😂
Zeitgeist wasnt banned the whole triogy was on Netflix for a time.
We had a documentary called: ,,Die Syrien Frage“ by Peter Scholl Latour. It was showen once on a Thursday at 23:45, then vanished from the internet side after 12 hours. There was a small public outcry. After all it was no censorship just very short showing.
Good video but do we really need a metaphor every 10 seconds?
It’s so cool to hear IDFF Jihlava mentioned! I loved that festival this year 🇨🇿
Narrator: *describes scenes where people are horrifically mistreated/killed*
Also narrator: "i BeT tHeY dIdNt hAvE A gOoD tImE!"
You never mentioned how zeitgeist talked about the federal reserve and how the American revolution was about getting rid of central banks and not actually tea.
I wonder why.
You forgot Europa: The Last Battle
Love the analogies that this channel uses!
The Greatest Story Never Told & Europa: The Last Battle, should be in this video.
Soviet atrocities mentioned. Thats an instant like.
Hire a new writer lol, the amount of metaphors are insane
you know a documentary is good when the narrator had bass voice
As someone who lives in the release country of "The Soviet Story" (and is a history major) you can trust me on the take that we consider this documentary pretty obsolete by contemporary history research standards. It can serve the purpose of expressing the general idea of Soviet atrocities, but other than that is just... really mid.
It's horrible propoganda just say it as it is with out sugar coating it.
dude loves his metaphors

Technically true, but only technically
Yep, your friend is kinda right actually.
I heard Europa: The Last Battle is banned in 109 countries...
It’s practically a religious book that tells people to commit mass murder. So yeah…
Not the only thing banned in 109 countries
I don't know why. It's a great piece of alt-history.
Well that's 109 more brain cells than you have
