New CV Axle Shaft from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1AACV00016
This video shows you how to install a front left CV axle on your 2000-2005 Buick LeSabre. A CV axle has flexible joints. Often, these joints wear out, or seize from contaminants due to the protective boot tearing open. A worn joint is prone to breakage, or other hazards. If your vehicle needs a new CV axle, install a quality TRQ axle that is engineered to your vehicle’s specifications.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
    2000 Buick LeSabre
    2001 Buick LeSabre
    2002 Buick LeSabre
    2003 Buick LeSabre
    2004 Buick LeSabre
    2005 Buick LeSabre

Great video guys. I would recommend advising the people to ensure that the rotor and pads stay clean of grease and oil. Pros know this, but it would be good to remind the novice mechanics.

You did a great job buddy. Very precise and professional. I have a passenger side CV joint that is clicking when I turn the wheel. Could be because my rubber boot is split along the seam and allowed debris to damage the threads etc. 👍

Would of loved to see you change that axle seal. Just wanted some extra ideas on how to remove one with a seal puller without tearing it in half and scuffing the sidewalls.

What’s the seal called that could be leaking transmission fluid?

("OBVIOUSLY IF YOU'RE BRAKE PAD LOOK LIKE THIS IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED ")
Proceeds to remove second brake pad :
    ("OH YEAH! THOSE ARE GOOD.....")
Then he tried to force the axle out

Question, Please help !!! When pushing the new axle on you feel almost two different clicks, the first one is the axle slipping over the retention ring inside the trans, great .. there is still a 1/4" gap between axle and trans housing ... push it in a little bit more and almost feel a second click or seating of the axle and if you give it a little pull it stays but any decent pull and it pops back out to the first click ... its very difficult to pull it past that first click, so I pushed it all the way in until CV was touching the trans put everything back together and now driving for a week .... looked at it today and it looks like its pulling away from the trans to where the first click took place, there is a small maybe 1/4" gap and I can almost see the ring ... all drives fine and would not know otherwise however im worried this isnt correct. Any advice or anyone out there that can email me a picture of their driver side axle and trans gap so I can see if mine is larger or if its how its supposed to be ..... maybe its how its supposed to be because even though there is a gap, you can tell the ring is inside the groove as trying to completely pull axle off is a pain and need pry bar to pop it but also the new axle one was not the same size as the old until I stretched the new out out a bit (rubber boots were all compressed on new one)

I'm confused, Why on the left side do you have to take the brakes apart? On the right side you don't??

Typically the caliper will spin on the top pin which will allow you to not have to take the caliper completely off to change the brake pads. But installing a CV joint, everything has to be out of the way.

You put copper never seize in the tube of the cv axle going into the transmission. I would not recommend this, that copper never seize is now on the inside of the transmission and will mix in with the fluid. You do not need antisieze on the cv axle end going into the transmission.

Hello EVERYONE watching this video 👋 everything in this video was perfect 👌 except a little error was said at the end of the video, when he said to top off the brake fluid, im pretty sure he MENT the transmission fluid level because when you pull off the old axle you need to put something underneath to catch the transmission fluid that leaks out from the transmission because when your pulling off the old axle out of the transmission housing it WILL leak out transmission fluid so im pretty sure thats what he MENT but you can check the brake fluid resivour just in case any brake fluid was seen while removing the braking system at any point it was worked on or removed, but before getting in and taking off don't forget the transmission fluid level. Thanks for your attention. Actually the transmission fluid level was mentioned at all so i thought it was important for everone to know. Thanks!
Great job though with this video

Sorry, couldn’t resist. I only came to this video because I was leery of hammering the shi+ out of the end of my new CV shafts. The tapered end of the tranny shaft, chamfered end of the CV shaft, and collapsing clip all indicate it needs force, but I needed to hear it from someone before I gave it some “loving bonks.” Mine took quite a bit of love with my largest dead-blow hammer, but she seated just fine. Thank you!
